St-Paul-de-Vence | An Uncut Village Walk
This video is an uninterrupted walk through St-Paul-de-Vence, a medieval hilltop village in southern France.
Filmed in a single continuous take with no narration or edits, it captures the pace and texture of the village exactly as it was that day.
The walk begins near the Collegiate Church and winds through narrow stone passages inside the village walls. Movement here is slow and deliberate. Visitors pause. Streets narrow. Paths don’t always lead where you expect. At one point, the walk descends toward a hillside overlook before turning back and continuing through a different lane, reflecting the organic, lived-in nature of the village.
Though the streets are busy, the atmosphere remains intimate. Weathered stone, shifting light, and views into the surrounding hills shape the experience.
This walk stands on its own.
Later this week, we’ll share a shorter, edited day-trip story that explores St-Paul-de-Vence in a different way.

Beautiful village! Do you get there by train from Antibes?
