Glamping in Florida

I was finally able to convince my husband to go out camping with me. The caveat was he wanted a glampsite so he didn't have to actually set anything up. I gave him 3 options local to us and he picked the closest to home (a 15 minute ride).

Overall, it was fantastic. I loved being outside, hiking with my dog, cooking over a fire….you know, doing camping things. Only downside was the glamping company was not very responsive to calls/texts when we notified them that none of the lights were working and their camp kitchen cookware leaves a lot to be desired (a scratched and peeling non-stick frying pan?).

The coldest night was 42 and the warmest day was 80. Typical Florida spring. We didn't have a/c or heat, just a canvas Bell tent and extra blankets.

8/10, will definitely do again and with MY OWN gear.
