you made a mistake. You said chocolate or a cheese cake. I think you meant a chocolate and a cheese cake
Ok, I’m LITERALLY just getting off a ship and I must add, a cabin that’s under the kitchen! Did not realize it but I could hear them washing dishes, dropping pans, and other items, as well as hear the blenders going. It was absolutely a horrible experience!
Skip the cruise. That way you avoid them all!
a room is a room, you are on a cruise ship there is gonna be noise if you don't like noise then don't go on a cruise.
I would avoid rooms with windows overlooking the promenade, but i once had a balcony over central park and loved it.
the cabins right in the front have a lot of noise from the anchor and various mechanic aspects of the ship .. bings bongs and hydraulic noises are intense
You forgot to mention cabins below the gym
I love balconies for drinking coffee in the morning, sun rise / sets, sound of ocean for sleeping, and it’s personally worth the money. Got an aft extended balcony for my cruise…14th floor.
And those cabins are highly discounted for those reasons
I think most all your views are aged based… I have high status on RC and Celebrity… most issues you mention dont apply… maybe age or weight mobility play into this ?
I agree with avoiding right under the pool deck, that is a stomp fest all night
Just did a cruise in an interior facing balcony. Yes you get less privacy but they cost less than a regular balcony. I see no real difference other than the view but yeah you have to wear pants on your balcony 🤷♂️
Yeah, but wouldn't those be cheaper? The front sounds cool, that would put me to sleep.
Great video. Would love another more updated version since the dining seems to have changed..
1: interior cabin
2: Exterior with window
3: Exterior with balcony
4: Larger exterior with balcony
5: Suite.
Another to avoid, forward balcony behind the bridge area. Forward view blocked by the bridge and supporting outside equipment.
I love an Oceanview cabin near the center of Deck 2. I love looking out of the window and seeing the ocean right outside my window!!!
We booked a cabin that was Starboard Forward on the Mardi Gras and will NEVER do that again. Having our Grandson with us on his very first cruise meant spending hours at the waterpark which is at the Rear of the ship. So every day was like a trip to the beach.. grab and pack everything we would need OR be ready for a long long walk. We never did see all of that ship and we aren’t new to cruising.Maybe if we booked like we always do with a Midship cabin higher up it wouldn’t have been so bad but as for now we don’t like a Mega ship. The Waterpark was amazing and was a definite hit for us all 😊
I will always get a balconey. You can't convince me otherwise. I don't book a forward cabin, though.
such a good video! thank you!
How bad are the cabins that are located completely aft?
People are always going to complain. I have been in all of these cabins and none of them bothered me.

i love a cabin facing the boardwalk
We had a suite at the front of the ship. Never again. Sounded like someone was constantly banging a door!

Just cruised for the first time and went with Freedom by RC. I was blessed to get a cabin on deck 6 because low and behold, I get motion sickness 😢 anything lower would've been unbearable. This is also something to note, if prone to motion sickness do something higher, it'll help especially when seas are rough. Happy cruising 🎉🎉🎉
6: cabins at the stern. Diesel smell is awful.
I always book near elevators. It drowns out my family’s noise
I love inside cabins over central park and boardwalk. I have never heard pool deck and been under it many times, I also love feeling ship movement. Title should be
If you are like me and or cruise on cheapo ships
These are good points. Thank you

I’ve had all sorts of cabins and never had any of these issues. Noise is always reasonable. People have to be realistic, if they want dead silence then rent a cabin in the woods. This is a resort with 24/7 activities, there’s gonna be noise.
I know someone who got an ocean view right below the pool area and it was constant music all the time.
