I’ve been staying in São Paulo for a little bit and figured I’d take the opportunity to try one of the recent additions to the 3 star roster. I got somewhat lucky to snag a last minute lunch reservation.

Overall, I was very impressed. The courses were decidedly Brazilian, very creative, and consistently delicious. The service was on point without being overbearing, the presentations were all stunning (pardon my shitty camera work) and the beverage pairings were solid.

The ambiance was nothing special- sort of a dated modern fine dining look honestly, but it didn’t take away from the experience. And I was lucky to sit pretty close to the pass so I could see into the kitchen and check out the process.

Value was reasonable- I did all the pairings and supplements because I was feeling indulgent, and it came out to the equivalent of around $700 US.

Standout courses were the squid, bobó, cod, sea bass, and chicken.

My only course-specific criticism is the beef course- all of the courses came out with cards explaining the inspiration, and the beef course explained the importance of picanha in Brazilian cuisine. And then it turns out that the wagyu supplement meant they just swapped in wagyu, which was a bit clunky, as the preparation was intense in flavor and probably better suited to the original picanha.

Highly recommend making a plan to go if you’re in São Paulo.
