What does it actually take to reset your visa in Southeast Asia? In this video, I’m taking you along on my recent 48-hour “visa run” mission from Da Lat, Vietnam.
This wasn’t a vacation—it was a logistical whirlwind. My journey took me from a bus in Da Lat to a flight in Nha Trang, back-to-back flights through Ho Chi Minh City, a quick trip to the capital of Cambodia, and finally, a brutal overnight sleeper bus back home.

Dalat – Saigon (£9), Saigon – Moc Bai border (pennies – public bus 2hr), then the same in reverse. It could've been about twenty quid. You could've done Saigon to border and back in five hours. Next time maybe.

Run out of 3 Asian countries. How many do you have left?
When people bring up climate change to me I show them pictures of Key West in Florida taken in the 1950s and then show them the same location on Google maps in the current day. The water level is exactly the same and it's irrefutable with photo evidence.
Next visa run you might want to look at 7am bus from Da Lat to Nha Trang (4hrs), 2:30 flight from Nha Trang to Phu Quoc ( 1hr), overnight on Phu Quoc then early ferry to Ha Tien and cross the border into Cambodia. 40 minutes to Kampot Cambodia and chill for a week while you wait for new Vietnam visa or cruise right back getting a 45day visa or the longer 3 month visa via an ag Ed nt expediting it. You could possibly cross back into Vietnam with a 90 day expedited visa, get back to the airport on Phu Quoc, fly back to Nha Trang and bus back to Da Lat and be back late that evening if the ferry/flight/bus schedules line up. Or just overnight again on Phu Quoc and next morning head back to Da Lat and be there by late afternoon/early evening. Cheaper and less travel time. Even if you did it over two days you'd be looking at around 16 to 20 hrs of total time traveling and the rest just chilling out on Phu Quoc. 👍

Visa runs are a piece of cake and you make it hard work whith your attitude towards travel. Anybody normal tom. would of just stayed out of country for 5 days then get 3 months visa.
