In this video I discuss the integration course, my experiences taking an integration course, what questions to ask your immigration official, the best way to choose a school, what to expect, and suggestions on language acquisition options other than an integration course. I apologize for the length of this video. There is a lot of information to cover. As promised, the ISBN for the three required textbooks I had to purchase for my A1-B1 course are as follows:
Berliner Platz 1 (Neu) 978-3-12-606025-7
Berliner Platz 2 (Neu) 978-3-12-606039-4
Berliner Platz 3 (Neu) 978-3-12-606057-8
I would like to add that most bookstores do not carry these textbooks, they have to be ordered. I went to the local bookstore and ordered my copies. The copies arrived in a few days. I also found copies on Amazon.de for slightly higher than I paid the bookstore for my copies. Many learners will also sell their used books at the end of each course segment, so you may be able to purchase a used textbook from someone who has already taken the A1 course at the school you choose to attend.
