Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city and the fourth stop on the Celebrity Silhouette sailing from Amsterdam to Barcelona. Western Europe’s most vibrant destination, the old city’s pastel-colored buildings and 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles is also home to some interesting tastes and sips.
Come along as my travel buddy Thomas and I grab a pastel de bacalhau with a special cheese from the mountains in the Serra da Estrela region of Portugal. For 3 Euro I indulge in some street Quentinhas e Boas and finally Thomas enlightens me on the difference between tawny and ruby port wine. This is an overnight in Lisbon with more Portugal adventures in the next vlog.
