This is day 40, the last day of our current journey together and a sad farewell to what has been for me a great journey, physically and mentally. The journey on the last day was appropriately a mix of roads with some torrential rain initially and then sunshine. Due to the weather, my recurring sound issues and a desire to get home, this video is shorter than usual and without some of the fabulous scenery to go with it. However, I hope you find it of interest and that you like the video. (This is version 2, it replaces the version uploaded at 08:30 BST this morning… due to user error 😊 )
I have really enjoyed my journey, various first world trials and tribulations, encountering varied weather, roads, scenery, architecture and people along the way.
As this was my first solo “Big trip”, camping for the first time since I was a teenager, and first time “vlogging” I have learned much. I will be uploading a “lessons learned” so keep an eye out for that.
One completely unexpected highlight for me has been the engagement from you, I’ve felt accompanied along the way and enjoyed reading the comments, observations, suggestions and words of encouragement. So, erm… THANK YOU!!!!
