Far off in the Philippine Sea, in a nation of seven thousand islands surrounded by crystal clear water, there is a small teardrop-shaped island called Siargao.
In September of 2019 I traveled to Siargao alongside a couple of Aussie friends. We expected to enjoy a sunny beach holiday – but quickly realized that there is much more to this island than meets the eye.
