Visiting Borobudur is an amazing experience. Due to too many visitors in the past, they don’t allow too many people anymore on the temple. Because we started our day with a Sunrise Borobudur guided tour, we managed to get entry on the temple for the first timeslot. This means only 100 people are allowed on the temple for 1,5 hour. To have the temple almost to ourselves, made it even more wonderful & enjoyable.
Our guide told the Borobudur story very passionate. We were so lucky with this guide. He also made lots of time for pictures on the best places of the temple.

Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple in the world, and ranks with Bagan in Myanmar and Angkor Wat in Cambodia as one of the great archeological sites of Southeast Asia.
