Merging with Vistara is a bad idea. Keeping both seperate from each other, will promote competition among these two airlines of India.

Its very difficult to fix the aircraft. Note the CEO of air India and the Chairman of Tata's are aware of this problem they are not able to finds sports to get this fixed. Hope the new A350 Arrive soon so that it could be sent for overhaul.

The airline has surely been neglected over the past years and I always avoided taking the AI 777s or 787s or even A320s lol, but after the new takeover it's going to be top class. New livery, better service, seats and everything.

Bit harsh considering the overall service received, albeit the hard product was pathetic. But fair enough, a review is worth it’s weight in gold for this airline.
You got to give them some time… Come 2025 when the hardware gets replaced… I hope you will have a better experience. In India Tata has never dissapointed… so fingers crossed.
The staff and food seemed to be top class, despite the state of the seat and aircraft. At least it wasn't all bad.
Although it's not as bad you are talking Western people can't accept the good things in asian countries and India they just wanna to drag them down always

what is the most polluted city in India ? Mumbai ? Delhi ? perhaps Kolkata ? or Bengaluru ?
Not flown air India but i remember a flight to Dubai from Birmingham with a load of indians amongst the passengers. At the entrance to the pre boarding lounge there was a free for all at the door which hadn't yet opened. The Indians were all pushing and shoving. An Indian airport employee went crazy at them, shouting and shoving them telling them to behave and form a queue while everyone else looked on at the show. 😂 I'm sure the guy wished he had a stick to set about them.

Hey Paul,
In Mumbai no airline has their separate lounge. Only Amex has their separate lounge in the domestic terminal. Also for business class passengers there is a separate area in the lounge where everything is provided.
Air India’s service and performance has been really good. Will definitely recommend them if flying on a narrow body ( yes even business class).
There are poop stains on your seat. Also, did anybody pee on the floor in your flight? Indians are known to dedicate in open public areas.
