  1. I only dated one filipina (my wife now), but what I found weird at least from a european perspective, is that on our first date she chatted to her friend who was going through some stuff. And it's not like she was on her phone and I was just sitting there. NO… She told me all the backstory and involved me in the drama. She made up for it on our second date, where she: ran like a goat, jumped like a kangaroo, climbed treas like a monkey and made clicking sounds like a chicken.

  2. Rod good morning
    Thank you for sharing
If I visit the Philippines for vacation as an American citizen
How long can I stay ?
What you are talking about relationship too
And now 2 or 3 dates are considered a serious relationship already ? Time has really changed.I was laughing when you said it is really easy to find lust and your gf moved in with you and you have a hard time throwing her out . Ha ha ha .

  3. I took that same road you did with the construction site with my wife on the back of the bike, but she got off the bike and walked the really rough parts while I navigated the bike through it. A couple more important things to know is to put sunscreen on, and drink lots of water.

  4. The idea of "marrying the family" isn't unfamiliar to Americans, it is just often the case that families are more distantly located, and usually smaller, and see each other less frequently in the U.S. Extended family relations are also less close-knit. It also seems to be the case that Filipinas prefer for you to meet their extended family and friends prior to marriage. It may be compulsory for some.

  5. Rod, speaking of motor scooters, I will be coming to the Philippines oct. 9 for 3 weeks. I will be with my girlfriend, as we travel around bohol. Is there an cheaper insurance coverage that I can purchase for the time I’m riding it, say 3 weeks. If so who you please sir tell me who I can call for a quote. Thank you so much

  6. my ss is 1650 a month , i just rented a place in IT park for 25k a month including internet, so not quite 500 usd, im planing on spending another 600 a month food, going out and misc expenses for 2 of us am i being reasonable with the budget. i want to save 500 a month.

  7. Relationships are so EASY. I have two perfect 10s one in Leyte and one in N Cotabato. I can not decide which one to marry both perfect. Have skills and know your limits

  8. Less than $3000 US a month is scraping by. My beach house on El Nido is $3655 US a month. If you’re poor at home you’re poor here. I spent $7000 to live middle class. Stay away from Angeles city and Dumaguete.

  9. Thanks for the video Rod…some very good advice for me. If I buy a motorcycle in the Philippines for my transportation…Do I need to purchase insurance for it? I look forward to your answer…I will be arriving to Cebu City this Thursday for the first time. I'm from the US

  10. Keep your eye out for changes next year. The Democrats are ramping up Covid 2.0 here in the USA. certain colleges, and businesses are reinstating mask mandates. Biden wants congress to approve a new Vaccine for all, that he's going to try and require every American to get.

Other countries like the Philippines follow suit when this nonsense is started in the States.

  11. I always change money at the airport that way you do get a good rate , been there 12 times now so I know what not to do Don't use a bank or WU they give you a touch up ..

  12. If you had offered to give a young Filipina a ride on your motorcycle, I can almost guarantee your girlfriend would have ridden the motorcycle with you instead.

  13. Can you take some of your US $$$ and establish a chain of snow cone stands? Make money hand over fist? Or are you not permitted to own a business, train and hire employees as a foreigner?
