Can you believe this gorgeous temple is in Hawaii?!

When looking up things to do in Oahu we came across the Byodo-In Temple and we knew we had to visit!! The temple is insanely beautiful with an epic mountain backdrop! It is a non-practicing Buddhist temple that was established in 1968 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii.
I definitely recommend checking it out so here’s what you need to know 👇🏻
⏰open daily from 8:30am-4:30pm
💸entrance is $5
🚗the road enters through a cemetery but just keep going and you’ll find the temple
👟shoes must be taken off to go inside the temple
🌺there is a gift shop and restrooms
👨👩👧👦it does get busy so I’d go either early or late and be prepared for some crowds
