In this video, I would like to share 13 things that surprised me, as a Japanese person who visited the Netherlands for the first time!
※Girl in a white kimono is by Breitner, not Van Gogh. Sorry about it!

Enjoyed watching your video and great things to learn too.
Konnichiwa & Namu Amida Butsu from the Netherlands🙏 Love your channel and I hope to visit Japan soon🥳
Great that you had a good time in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 Aki . I live in the netherlands. Hope you get your stolen bags back and stay safe on your travel. Ganbatte kudasai Aki.
Thank you for sharing.
10:34, 10:47: I recognize where that is, I live really close to those chickens! Nice to see someone visiting places in the Netherlands that aren't Amsterdam – but I wouldn't have expected them to visit Warmond, of all places!
Are you coming to France 🇫🇷???
Thank you for spreading cultural awareness! Your videos are always so relaxing, enjoyable and informative 💫👍🌻
Really appreciate your videos, I always feel healed thanks to them
Another fun, relaxing video. Thank you!
That kimono girl painting is by Breitner, not Van Gogh! Breitner had a whole series of women dressed in kimonos!
The seagulls by the herring standa are very aggressive😂. Sorry your bag was stolen there. It's nice to see you visited so many places while you were here.
What a beautiful video you made about your experience in our country!🇳🇱 I’m so happy it made nice memories for you! And you included our picture too! Wow! Thank you so much! We feel honoured and forever treasured to have met you! ❤
Great informational video. Sorry about losing your bag. I'd never leave my bags unattended as there are too many disrespectful people in the world. I really enjoy your videos.
Nikko during red leaves hotels much too expensive. They charge one person for five persons including 5 persons breakfast otherwise you will not find a place to stay. Only some Chinese would still pay that.
Girl in a white kimono is by Breitner, not Van Gogh. Sorry about it!
Hello Akisan. I'm glad you liked my country. You can get a lot of things from all over the world here, but some things are hard to find and you can only get at speciality stores. Usually I can find what I'm looking for. I'll be traveling to Japan again by the end of March. I hope to welcome you when you come back to the Netherlands.
Please don’t say Marianna.
will be watching every single episode!
In the Netherlands, the far-right party won the election and they have declared that they will get rid of immigrants, so in the future, the Netherlands will be safer and if you leave your bag outside, it won't be stolen.
Fantastic video. So interesting and well done. Will look forward to your next one in Italy.
Watch out! Ninja bird! 🥷🦅🤣
Many people struggle to pronounce Dutch names, but for future references, Rijke rhymes with Bike so it is more like "Rike" how it is pronounced. 🙂 (My mom is half Dutch).
I loved this video and am so very sorry that things were stolen there of yours. That is awful. I have never tried any drugs or alcohol so I too would not want to have those cookies. You did fine in not trying them.
That is so interesting how Japanese products are sold through the Netherlands on the road and are a good quality.
There are definitely racists in the Netherlands, but I am so glad you did not receive bad treatment at all. Most Dutch people are very respectful and enjoy learning about cultures.
Japan is extremely safe because Japanese people are highly civilized, educated, intelligent and DECENT. You should be proud of your nationality, it's an example for the whole world. If I were any younger I'd learn the language and move to Japan without hesitation.
Thank you, Aki! The ninja gull reminds me of the giant kites (blackbirds) in the botanical gardens in Kyoto. There were signs warning people about them because they would attack people's food.
Oh amazing! If you are still in the Netherlands and would like a tour in Utrecht, shoot me a message! 🙂
Your videos are as fun as always ❤ Still hoping that one day you could visit Poland!
Lovely video, made me want (even more) to visit Japan, and the Netherlands again too, which is closer to me. Our local bike shop here in a small town in Brittany had an exhibition last year of bamboo bikes! Somehow I missed it though. Perhaps you might come and visit here one day!
❤❤❤
If you ever come back too Belgium be my geurt too guide you 😁
As a Dutch person, I enjoyed this! Nice job. About rare Japanese products: They are available here I think mostly because there is a Japanese expat community living in Amsterdam hence they want/can afford high quality Japanese products. The Dutch "ninjas" also take icecreams! This happens mostly close to the seaside though 😉
Beautiful video and commentary.
There is a difference between a river and a canal. A big difference. Houseboats are mostly on canals, not rivers.
Woman in Kimono that you showed is certainly NOT by van Gogh. Get your facts right please…
So glad you enjoyed it here! 😊❤ Too bad I didn't know you were here until you had left, I would've loved to share some matcha with you and practice my Japanese. 🍵 Maybe next time I could show you around! 🤗 Thank you for speaking so kindly of the Netherlands 😊
Thank you for sharing your trips with us¡¡ I love your energy 🤩
The painting with kimono is painted by Breitner, not Van Gogh… but beautiful it is😅.
Thank you for your video. It is amazing journey that you have shared. And yes, other countries and their culture are not the same as Japan. Some countries even have high crime rate as things get stolen if left unattended outside and we nearly got picked-pocket by a gypsy with a child in Rome. have been to Sweden, Italy and Japan. I am from Malaysia.
Noooo, I would have loved to say hello! Come back to Netherlands!
You where only in the tourist part.
I live in the Frisia province no need to lock my car, house door, boat.
Also stuff does not get stolen = I can leave my stuff out and it will not get stolen.
If you come over here again:
You are invited to stay in my wooden house or boat if you want.
Well it is a 6,50meter Sailboat.
