Gee Wickers that’s some good gravy 2024 a new year a time for new aspirations New Opportunities new challenges new choices and of course new rides roller coasters and theme parks good day everyone and welcome to the very first theme park parlay episode of 2024 my name is Parker and to today

We’re doing our annual Roundup of every new ride roller coaster attraction and theme park coming in 2024 as with every year we have some very interesting additions coming and we’re going to go Chain by chain and continent by continent to discuss them all now I have

A very long list of things that will be gracing our Parks this year so I actually decided to split this video up into three parts this is part one where we’ll be Focus focusing on every new addition coming to North America plus a few International projects from Disney

And Universal because you know they’re american-based companies and I didn’t want to split them up so anyways some of the attractions on our list are highly anticipated While others might be from Parks you’ve never heard of before either way I am thrilled to share my findings with you so without any further

Ado let’s talk theme parks He all right we’re not going to waste any time here so let’s jump right into it and begin with Cedar Fair specifically my home park Canada’s Wonderland who will be expanding the water park with the addition of a new slide called Moose horn Falls manufactured by Whitewater West moose

Horn Falls will invite Riders to board a six-person raft for a twisting River Adventure that will culminate in a 13 m z gravity wall I love water sides that feature these wall Style Elements they are so fun and you really do feel that moment of weightlessness at the top

Moose horn Falls is inspired by the real waterfalls along the Moose horn Trail in New Brunswick’s funy national park with this and the recent additions of Moka plunge Lakeside Lagoon and Mountain Bay Cliffs I wouldn’t be surprised if Splash work scy complet Canadian rethe in the

Next few years but that’s a topic for another video one of the most anticipated coasters coming in 2024 is the long awaited reimagining of Cedar Point’s Top Thrill Dragster which will reopen this year as Top Thrill 2 designed by simpa the new ride will be distinct from its predecessor by the

Addition of an LSM swing launch and a 420t tall Spike the top thr2 experience will begin with a 74 mph launch forward Wards towards the original intimate top hat which will result in a guaranteed roll back you’ll then be hurled backwards at 101 mph and Ascend the new

Spike after a moment of weightlessness you’ll dive back towards the Earth and a launch of final time at 120 mph up and over the top hat and across the Finish Line although the swing launch has its naysayers within the coaster Community I’m very excited for this especially considering that I’ve never done the

Original dragster and I’m enthusiastic to see Z Paro work on such an iconic ride the other highly anticipated coaster project within the Cedar Fair chain is of course iron Menace at dhy Park this B&M dive coaster will be situated on Stinger’s former plot of land and will dominate the park Skyline

With a height of 160 ft unlike most dive coasters that feature a 90° vertical drop iron Menace will dive down at an angle of 95° the second Vietnam dive coaster to do so so after diabolical Cliffhanger at Six Flags Fiesta Texas like that coaster iron Menace will also

Feature the seven across train design after the initial plunge iron Menace will feature four inversions an emman a zero g roll a tilted Loop and a cork screw at 2169 FT it’s not the longest coaster ever but it looks super unique and I kind of like the inversion Focus layout

But the most intriguing part of this ride is its backstory take inspiration from the Lehigh Valley steel industry iron Menace takes Riders back to the early 1900s where the greedy steel Baron H McTavish has just disappeared after the creation of his massive rail haer dubbed the iron Menace but CED ofir is

In just about the throws in 2024 as we gearing up for two Camp Snoopy Renovations the first is at Kings Island which will open Snoopy soapbox racer one of the first Poma family boomerangs in the US the 672 ft RAC trck will take Riders both forwards and backwards

Through a series of twists and turns that the entire family can enjoy a companying the new coaster is beagle Scout Acres a campsite themed sensory play area where kids can crawl run and climb around to their hearts content and a listen this may not sound exciting to

Most people who watch my channel but having these sort of active spaces for kids within the parks is incredibly important and a very welcome addition for families honestly I hope we see more of these kind of additions soon Kings Island is further leaning into the camp theme with ctivities led by Snoopy and

The Peanuts Gang giving kids the opportunity to raise the camp flag on a flag pool light a campfire or sound the camp bugle I think this is so creative and it shows that the park is fully committed to the immersion of the land and to providing younger guests with

Unique experiences that they might not get otherwise the additions will be complimented by some name changes to existing attractions as well Race for Your Life Charlie Brown will become Charlie Brown’s Rushing River log ride flying Chase aerial chase is getting a fresh new color scheme and will reopen

As Woodstock’s air Rail and Woodstock’s gliders will be renamed Franklin’s Flyers jumping over to not Berry Farm we’ll find our other Camp Snoopy renovation that will reimagine the area with new attractions and experiences the highlight of course is a replacement for the old Timberline twister which closed earlier this year Snoopy’s tenderpaw

Twister a zampera family coaster appears to be a clone of Daddy Pig’s roller coaster from pppa Pig theme park featuring both a traditional lift Hill and a tire driven launch the other rides coming in this reimagining are the allnew Sally swing Along is empera super happy swing and Snoopy’s off-road rally

A rethe of their Old Rocky Mountain Trucking Company ride with extended track and terrain the project will also see upgrades to the sple Express featuring a series of new camp vignettes and wood Sox air mail will reopen in a new camp post office area the final big component of the Camp Snoopy upgrades

Will be the addition of the Camp Snoopy Theater which will host a new Camp Snoopy Show in the daytime and special campfire entertainment at night of course other cosmetic and theming upgrades are expected around the 6 acre area also note that knots has removed huff and puff and the High Sierra Ferris

Wheel to make for these new experiences of course we can’t talk about CED Fair without talking about Six Flags because well assuming everything goes through the way it’s supposed to the two companies will become one in 2024 through a merger of equals transaction but you can watch my video

On that if you need a refresher for now I’m considering each company separately but we’re going to start off this part of the discussion with a project that I don’t think is getting the attention it deserves flash Vertical Velocity at Six Flags Great Adventure this will be the world’s second ever bakoma super

Boomerang the other one being Cloud shuttle at Phantom wild Wonderland and Tong Shang China like Thea’s other Boomerang coasters flash Vertical Velocity will travel both forwards and backwards through its layout but this time it will travel through 1,430 ft of track that will include a 164t tall tower and three inversions or

Six if you count going in both directions you know I have been wanting to see a thrilling Next Generation voma coaster in North America for a few years now so I’m very happy that we’ll finally be getting that with the flash but that’s not all for six flag’s Great

Adventure 2024 marks the Park’s 50th anniversary and in addition to the new coaster the park will also be gifted with the Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa which will feature Ultra luxurious tents adjacent to the wild safari Savannah another coaster I’m really looking forward to next year is Bobcat at Six

Flag Great Escape of course the park had to retire their beloved Alpine Bob last summer but I think this gravity group Woody will be a fair replacement Bobcat will be a little on the smaller side coming in with a modest height of 55 ft and a track length of 1,412 M these

Family gravity group coasters are so much fun though I got to do Kentucky flyer Kentucky Kingdom last summer and had a great time so I can’t imagine Bobcat will be any different the coaster will also be built with Bradley group’s new pre-cut track system and features some sick looking Timber liner trains I

May not be the devil but I’m going down to Georgia to talk about a new coaster coming to the thrill capital of the south in 2024 Six Flags Over Georgia will open the world’s first intimate Ultra surf coaster Georgia Surfer and yes that is the final name for this ride

The coaster was nameless when it was first announced but the park looked to its fans for suggestions and Georgia Surfer was ultimately chosen as the winner the 54t halfpipe will feature free spinning cars Dynamic water effects an airtime Hill and will reach a height of 144 ft the coaster appears to be

Intimate take on the mock power Splash using a similar LSM swing launch system where it differs however in addition to the inclusion of spinning cars is the fact that instead of a traditional splash down the ride appears to make use of water jets the parks website claims that these water interactions will

Include a vertical wave ball and a water vortex tunnel the Brilliance of this is that the park will be able to adjust these effects and turn them off which will allow the ride to operate even in the cooler months Six Flags Festa Texas is gearing up to create the largest DC

Universe land in the United States which will include some thematic upgrades and the addition of three new rides including cyborg cyber Revolution a zampera nebulas Shazam Tower of Eternity a 70t rotating family drop tower also from zampera and Metropolis Transit Authority a 16 passenger Art Deco monreal that will give Riders a relaxing

Aerial view of the land much like the pupil mover at Magic Kingdom the DC transformation will also see several other existing attractions get a superhero or super villain makeover Streamliner coaster will become bat coaster Chase Rambling Road will become the penguin Gotham City getaway SkyScreamer will become Supergirl

Skyflight Sun Pilots will become Green Lantern Emerald flight and Sky Searchers will become poison ivy toxic Spin and that’s all in addition to the six existing DC Universe attractions Kid Flash Cosmic coaster DC super villain swing Joker Carnival of chaos Superman Krypton Coaster Batman the ride and

Wonder Woman lasso coaster I I know we tend to scoff as Six Flags attempt at DC theming across their Parks but when all the rides are grouped together in one decently themed land like this I really don’t mind it I think this project has some real potential to show what can

Really be done with this IP so I’m looking forward to seeing everything come together the park is also expected to open their kids Water Park expansion that was announced for 2023 Six Flags America will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in 24 and they’ll be celebrating their birthday with a new

Steampunk themed land called steam town that will take over the former Coyote Creek area steam town will include a new simper nebulas called Steam warer and new trains in theming for minder raser through voma SLC and those new generation SLC trains really do make a world of difference Renegade Rapids and

Coyote Creek crazy cars will also receive new names and theming elements but details on those projects have yet to be announced announced the Park’s popular stunt show will also make a return as part of the steam Town overhaul and the land will be accompanied by a new dining hall and

Retail experiences the previously announced Rip Curl Blaster water slide is also expected to open this summer Six Flags Over Texas will be making some improvements to their Bugs Bunny boom toown area including the addition of two new kids rides the park exclosed two other attractions in that area in recent

Years including Sylvester and Tweety’s Ferris wheel and yose stam’s Texas teacups rumors point to the return of Daffy Duck bucket blasters which was removed in 2021 to make way for Aquaman Power Wave the other ride remains unknown at the time of recording the foundations for both have been poured

Long-awaited opening of the Dolly Parton experience now a Dolly Parton themed exhibit isn’t anything new prior to this the location was home to the Chasing Rainbows Museum however the new Dolly Parton experience will be three times the size of the original HIIT incorporating interactive elements that take us on a journey through Dolly’s

Life from Locust Ridge to the world’s biggest stages Chasing Rainbows had already closed to make way for this experience when I visited Dollywood in 2022 so I’m so excited to see that this will be opening soon and I think Mike and I will need to plan another trip to Dollywood when it

Do with the new songs this one has already opened but on January 10th Disneyland Paris launched their new nighttime spectacular Disney Symphony of colors the show begins with the electrical Sky parade which uses over 500 drones to depict symbols and characters that appear to be inspired by

The floats from the original Main Street Electrical Parade the results are spectacular and Disneyland Paris has truly mastered the art of drone technology within the theme parks and I’m not going into detail with this but the Disneyland Paris Resort may also open their iteration of the kingdom of

Arendelle at the Walt Disney Studios park by the end of the year construction is underway but no announcements have been made yet and most rumors actually Point towards a 2025 opening either way it’ll be fairly similar to its counterparts in Hong Kong and the aforementioned Fantasy Springs and

Finally the Advent Ventures continue on the star tour simulator attractions at Hollywood Studios Disneyland and Disneyland Paris as they receive new scenes from the Disney Plus show Ahsoka adding cool new attractions in 2024 seems to be a universal experience including as universal destinations and experiences see what I did there anyways

The big news item for this year is that Universal Studios Japan will be expanding their version of Super Nintendo World with edition of the Donkey Kong Country mini land usj was the first Universal Park to open a Nintendo themed land with phase one opening in 2021 now Donkey Kong Country

Will bring new experiences to the land including Donkey Kong Minecart Madness based on the memorable Minecarts levels from the games this roller coaster experience will be unique as it will be the world’s first boom coaster this means that the car will travel along a false track as the real track will be

Hidden underneath in the form of a vertical rail this Innovative system will help create the illusion of the coaster jumping over perilous gaps in the track after being blasted out of a barrel cannon at the golden temple guests will weave Through the Jungle in an attempt to save the Golden Banana

From the tikit TAC tribe like the rest of the land Donkey Kong Country will feature interactive elements that will allow them to collect the KO n letters through a series of mini gamess Donkey Kong Country will also include a retail location themed of funkies flying by where guests can purchase DK themed

Merchandise a snack stand and a meet and greet at Donkey Kong’s jungle tree house note to that when epic Universe opens at Universe of Orlando next year their version of Super Nintendo World will include both the Mushroom Kingdom and Donkey Kong Country sides upon opening but that’s a spoiler for next year’s bid

The former Kids Zone area at Universal Studios Florida is currently receiving some massive Renovations and will reopen this year as DreamWorks land the old woodywoodpecker nous coaster will be renamed as troller coaster to fit in with the popular trolls franchise not too many other details have been

Released yet but it does appear that the land will also feature attraction themed to Shrek Kung Fu Panda Gabby dollhous and possibly a few others in fact Shrek’s house has even been spotted peeking up from behind these construction walls as Shrek swamp will be replacing fal’s Playland a playground

And some meet and greets with various DreamWorks characters are also expected to be part of the new land there’s also been some rumors that Universal Studios Forida will be debuting a new nighttime spectacular on their main Lagoon called cational a symphonic spectacular which may incorporate drone technology all right this next section

Is a bit of a big one as we’re going to be tackling all of the additions coming to Independent Parks across North America and G willikers I think we’re going to start this discussion with a coaster that unexpectedly captured the hearts and imaginations of Enthusiast from its initial announcement and that’s

Good gravy at Holiday World appropriately going into the Thanksgiving area of the Park good gravy will be another bakoma family Boomerang and yes it will have a different layout than Snoopy snowbox Racers at Kings Island good gravy will feature 1,500 ft of track and reach a Max height of 72 ft

And a top speed of 37 mph of course the reason why this ride stands out so much is its theming which is beautifully manifested in its gravy boat themed trains I think this ride is so cute and it’s exactly the kind of Attraction Holiday World needed American Triple

Loop makes the list again but I think Indiana beach is actually going to open it this year this wchof lubing coaster originally opened in 1984 and spent some time in the German Fair circuit it bounced around to a few other Parks before for finding a home at lafier

Chapek magiko where it operated as Kima until it experienced a tragic accident in 2019 Indiana beach purchased the coaster the following year and after a few years of delays I’m excited to see American chleo finally start its new life in 2024 I’m always happy to talk about new

Canadian coasters on here so it’s with great pleasure that I can talk about Thunderbolt at Vancouver’s P Playland which will be the Park’s Lar lest investment to date this coaster began as an intimate accelerated coaster called Senza fiato at morika in Italy from 2009 to 2018 but much like Toto through at
