Excursions to go on in Germany!
[Applause] [Applause] Love welcome back to the dorch L Series guys so this day we went to a local diner for some schnitzel typical German food I guess I got mine with some fries it was good it was nothing crazy it was like a Patty um and then they even
Brewed their own wine there so cool any anyways the next day I headed off on my Merry way to class on the bus and had some breakfast in class and this was my seminar class the first day of this class I loved it I really liked the away
Feeling inspired and I was like oh it’s giving words to things that I’ve thought about but that week we also went on our first field trip to point Alpha which was like a museum and the memorial from when Germany was divided during the Cold War and NATO and the Soviet Union we’re
Facing off one another I guess um so this was an observational post with like you’ll see later on um they’ve built reconstructions of things to give the audience a better understanding and insight as to what was going on but we had a really great tour guide and he
Lived during that time and so he had some stories to share and we got to explore some of the actual living situations of the US Army during this time and the museum is really cool so I’d recommend if you’re a history person and even if you’re not a big part of
Cultural immersion is just learning about the history of the place you’re visiting and German history is actually very very interesting and we all know how it impacted the world so I’ll just let you guys enjoy some of the shots that I took the views are also very nice at the
End of the day and it was someone’s birthday so we s happy birthday in different languages and then the night with some pizza and I had to work on some stuff that I had to do for my scholarship and that was it here I am dressed for next Excursion though in
Which we were going to vburg and first was going to be the vburg residence so this place that you saw beautiful clips of in the beginning is located in the state of Bavaria and it represents Southern like Germany and Austrian architecture and stuff this place is so
Beautiful that I want to do more of showing than telling before we started our tour though we had to lock up any items that were like bigger than like a small purse I think and I mean this place is a relic it’s treasured so cann’t use Flash and things like that
And so those are protective measures that they have set in place since this place is such a treasure I mean I don’t know how many other buildings look like this in the world today but I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and our tour guide was very informed on the place as
Well which made it even more Enjoyable Like room after room in this place I was just surprised like hey wow what’s all this what’s going on Wow the history nerd and me wants to ask I wonder where they got some of these you know ingredients if you may like was it stolen was it bought was
It traded but we all know history so this is not time for a history debate let’s just enjoy it you know what maybe my ancestors did it for me for me to see this it wasn’t for them forget all the kings or whatever that may have spent
Their first marriage nights in here and stuff it was for me to say this now let me stop dulu is not the Salu in this situation I speak for nobody please this is all parody thank you I think after I recorded this section I got intrigued by some pieces
About Jesus’s 12 Apostles and as a follower of Christ obviously it took my time when I read you know what I’m saying but this room was so cool to spin in I guess and shortly after was time to leave following the tour I then put my
Cinematic skills to the test and then we walked over to a wine shop which was really pretty decorated I loved it I just love the vibe honestly cuz I don’t really drink so so I didn’t buy any wine but I did buy these like wine infused um
Kind of jellies Jam thingies right there I still yet to try mine so let you know when I try it our program then proceeded to toll the city and first we stopped to try this bread and sausage thing I forgot what it’s called I’m going to
Look it up and type it cuz that’s a better thing to do as a learner and it wasn’t bad but I’ll let y’all hear my review it’s good has a little bit of spice to it but after this we separated into groups and took a tour of
Vburg with an official tour guide we saw a bunch of churches we even ended up going into that one and just walk the streets into the marketplace more churches this is the cathedral and this is the inside of the cathedral and oh my gosh when I say I love this I love this
Like I would come to mass here but we weren’t close to this so but basically the altar is symbolic of Jesus’s second return and it shows like I think the 24 Elders praising him and the angels and all this stuff and I’m like oh my goodness like I sent this to my family
Group chat and somebody was like Wow people took out this to do for Jesus and I was like yeah bro like he deserves it all cuz it’s crazy cuz most of these people probably didn’t even live to see the fruit of their work but that’s a message for somebody you know sometimes
You got to do stuff leave an inheritance for other people to enjoy okay it’s not always about you but this is us looking for some souvenirs after there were two party though and we’re just passing time before we had a nice candle lit dinner that evening oh this dinner was the bomb
Call it L’Oreal cuz it was worth it okay worth it welcome back to our Vlog Welcome n but shout out to my Aussies real quick cuz y’all let me mimic you for a while and I was actually trying to learn I was just so obsessed with saying it like I don’t know is Saturday guys it is the last day of the week we’re walking to the bus
Stop to go on our last Excursion out of all the excursions that we took this one was probably the most important because we went to lukan the world Memorial which is a concentration camp and it wasn’t enjoyable but it was very informative and a lot of things are reconstructed here like they’re more
Graphic and EXP um concentration camps in Germany but like I said a lot of reconstructions and the place was just so cold bro so imagining how people did it naked and just being tortured and H some of these pictures are just so so I can only imagine the explicit
Concentration cans but it’s important to say because we as human beings in fact we’ve bothered ourselves may God have mercy for real and me all the souls RP if you’re in Germany definitely visit a concentration camp it’s important for just a full experience and then to kind
Of switch the mood a bit we went to lunch after kind of crazy isn’t it but this place had some robots like delivering the food and stuff pretty cool I had some steak which apparently I found out was lamb or de or something like that we use Google Translate but
This was the fifth I took to lunch and um for the day I guess um pretty cute we’re taking a tour of wima I think this is like their City Square or whatever and it’s I’ve been a v v cuz the tour was very exhausting it was cold so I’m
Not trying to take my hands out of my glov but I did it for you guys so anyways here are more views of wima we went to see the old houses of some famous writers like go go with um Wolf Gang Johan Wolf Gang and Schiller and
Then after we stopped to get some souvenirs I got some like chocolate covered pretzel type thingies they were pretty good and there were some good deals and then that Sunday after we literally went to eat Turkish food again because it was very accessible got some spy of course somebody got a number
I won’t expose them but anyways that’s it guys thanks for watching and see you God willing in the next one bye
Hey! With school and spring break I got backed up🥲 but I’m baccckkkk with the second video showcasing things to do in Germany/places to visit in vlog style during my study abroad program this January! I hope you all enjoy/learned from seeing me visit the Würzburg Residence(Castle), historical places that housed writers such as Goethe, and a concentration camp even! See you Godwilling next time!
