Shed Load Of Delays | Yorkshire Motorhome & Campervan Show 2024

We’re on our way to harate moment the great Yorkshire showr I’m going for the Yorkshire motor home and camper van show which starts this Friday we’re go this is Wednesday the 13th at the roundabout take the first exit to Marine Drive and uh the show starts on Friday

The 15th it’s a weekend show it’s one of the Warner shows I think it’s the first Warner show isn’t it I think so there’s something in January isn’t there as well but yeah okay that was all indoors first outdoor one at the roundabout take the first exit to Marine Drive and we’re going early because we’re meeting up with Bob and alen alen’s got a stand there this year again and uh at the roundabout take the first exit to Marine Drive and once we get over all these roundabouts it’s a Southport by the way Marine Drive believe it or not yeah

And you can actually see the sea as well yeah yeah so um yeah so we’re going a little bit early so um the set up day is Thursday so I’ll be helping aliens set our stand up as we did last year yep and it’s just three days isn’t it the show

Yeah Friday Saturday Sunday yeah so if you’re in the harate area why not come along and have a look it is a it’s not a there’s no camp in there we’re actually staying on the show ground trade area with with alen yeah that’s right there is a campsite there but I imagine that’s

Pretty much fully booked harate Caravan Park isn’t it which is next door yeah but that will be fully booked up yeah so I mean if you’re in the north it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to come for a day visit yeah perhaps we’ll catch you there okay we’re going to stop

Off aren’t we at Bolton Abby for lunch so we’ll just have a little look around there when we get there yeah very annoying and there I don’t if you can see it but there is a giant um it’s not static caravan looks like offices or something they’ been going along the

Road and stopping every couple of minutes through narrow Villages and and at the moment we seem to be completely stuck cuz there’s a bus that can’t get past the uh the thing and don’t think know what they what they’re going to do there’s been a van revers

Back down I don’t know whether that’s the one that’s it might be the one that’s trying to stop the traffic in front but I can’t quite see what’s happened with this coach here cuz there’s a bus stopped and it just doesn’t seem to be doing anything whether having a big argument or

Something but it’s ridiculous moving something like that roads like this it only gets narrower doesn’t it further up here yeah come in now oh good grief I think I think we’re going to be here forever that’s worse than the bass isn’t it well he’s at least he Tak oh why do

You do oh grief he’s moving till he meets someone else further up yeah it’s really wide that yeah obviously stop the traffic going the other way it’s taken out proba the whole of the road or it looks like road yeah so they’re having to stop every so often CU they can’t get through

Somewhere moving aren’t we yeah bit a wi hope it’s uh not going our way probably is it’s taken about an hour longer than it would have done I think I think so if it’s something for the show we probably follow it they’ll probably have lunch where we they saying

We’ve got this brand new Cafe at the at the show I think I recognize that that’s the thing that held us up for about an hour yeah got quite a nice view here a few big calls I’ve been keeping a record or photo record of everything that I’ve been

Eating so this is on our menu plan at the moment so it’s vegetable soup and uh a quite a bit of bread there two rolls two rolls yeah so we’re not missing out on food are we no probably’s had hers had to stop it was just getting ridiculous go crawling

Alonger 4 5 m hour on average traffic’s moving really well now yeah course it’s gone isn’t it so it’s not a bad labor to stop just before the junction for the a59 and whatever Road this is can’t what it is a56 56 yeah 85 859 is blocked oh good

Diversion so this journey is not going well is it no we should just a little yellow sign wasn’t they saying you can’t use the a59 to get to arrogate KI Guild local ACC only so a 7 Mile diversion yeah we couldn’t have gone to Bolton Abby anyway

No so thanks to the shade and the road block we can’t go there 669 our road was blocked by a shed pretty full isn’t it yeah wonder how many thousand million gallons are are There at the random out take the first exit to a661 so this is normally where we come in from up there isn’t it when we come if we come on the motorway which we should have done which we should have done Yeah yeah cuz there’s the cro yeah oh blooming neck that was a long journey Alen already there aren’t they I think so no don’t think that’s the same that’s the other side it’s not it’s not is it can we stop here do they can we get in there yeah should be up yeah right Bob and alien have arrived so we’re just going to follow them

In got our pass in the window yep set up aren’t they yeah washing some of them aren’t they yeah a spot that we might want to have a look at great oh poppy please not there yet she she’s seen her pears but not been able to say hello

Yeah not being able to say hello to them yeah all right you’re seeming a bit there’s a whole load of setup going on behind us and uh we’re just going to have a wander down to the hall just to have a look at the hall and maybe do the setup if we

Can this afternoon get that done got the girls y Connie and Macy around that way po his face in the opposite way this might actually be our last trip out in the uh Swift contiki sport 574 we’re hoping that we’re getting the van in the next couple of weeks

Um what we know that Todds have been invoiced for the van so hopefully it won’t be too long now before we get our new van means we got a load of preparation to do when we get back look like they got mobile homes here as well 217 nothing there shortly will Be N [Applause] Definitely getting there yeah I believe Bob and alien setting up now I think I’ve done enough damage there now done your display haven’t you on the end there yeah I did the Hoover disc Queen things come on girls let’s go for a walk come on yeah all right we got these two uh

Collapse we got the collapse uh yeah watering can which I filled up I also filled this up as well now just T quite heavy 20 l so really need a trolley or something to carry that carried it from across over there so that’s my morning exercise so just using the pump just

Pumping that out of there into there and not that we’ve got much in the waste tank at the moment but this is a good opportunity to try out the uh the inline filter so we got the filter fitted and just put it on the end of the drain pipe

And uh there’s a little bit coming out the reason for using this is I don’t believe that we’ve got any places to empty the waste waterer so I could use the waste Master to empty it but uh if there’s no food waste in there shouldn’t be a problem just water coming out second

Journey it’s a bit much carrying that by hand or so definitely need a trolley for it but yeah it’s quite useful I mean if you had two of them okay so empty on the waste water and full on the fresh well alien’s all set up now I got
