Taken us till day 30 of our road trip to make it to the top of the Alps but here we are welcome to FR good morning we are currently hot footing it to the train station we’re staying in Shaman which is the sort of jump off point to exploring
Mont Blanc they like to make the most of that if you want to take the famous cable car that takes you up to the very Peak that’ll set you back €75 a piece so we’ve opted for the slightly more reasonable highest Cog train in I think
This year up here should get on this train let’s get on the train oh yeah look we’re on the train we’re definitely up with all the uh hardcore hikers here people have got ropes and equipment so we’re just going to basically sit back and enjoy the Ride We made it we’re not quite sure where we are what we’re going to do no we’re definitely here we have look at some sides we’re at May de glass which I think is the only stop that the train goes to we’ve just seen a least three or four water this incredible the count

Before oh let’s go to the ice cave this way the ice cave is a further 500 steps it takes about 30 minutes and cuz we were already thinking about lunch we thought we’re just going to stop here on this little bench have a quick sandwich and look at this view good see the
Waterfall come on let mate ways to go 500 steps it takes to get to a size c yeah tells you the years of the level of the glacier way down we’ve gone back to clam life yeah it’s a just a load of stairs which take you around the
Mountains the streams of water just coming down next to you as well from also I can’t believe this is all in the ticket you it certainly makes it worth it now definitely the fact that we can do this and I have no idea what to expect I’ve seen a couple of

We’ve reached the top of the Alps! Chamonix in France is the main stop for exploring the highest peak in the whole of the Alps. There’s a range of activities to do here, but we picked a day out on the little red train, the Mer De Glace. Your ticket on the train includes a gondola to the Ice Cave and an epic walkway through the glacier itself. This day was one of the highights of our entire 52 day road trip through 7 countries, and we’re so glad we included it and are able to share it with you here.
If you like this video, there’s the rest of our road trip still to come, so why not subscribe to see how we get on in Switzerland and Lichenstein before making our way back round to Germany, where we started.
Thanks for watching!
