537 L’eau introuvable dans le désert d’Atacama ?
Hi everyone hi everyone is it’s summer it’s raining also because it’s the rainy season in summer well in this video we’re enagasta we want to leave but to leave since we’re heading towards the desert well it’s us you need water and you will see that well it is complicated to find
Water in Chile really very complicated when the big cities in any case in opagassa it was complicated we consume a lot of diesel to find 300 l of water what and then we arrive at bakedano a small town where there are old trains they call it a museum not really
Because it remained as is but suddenly it’s super nice so we’ll show you around that good video and for those who like trains frankly there are some beautiful machines see you soon welcome to the xcg family channel where you can follow our [Applause] adventure [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [ Applause]
Come on we’re still enofagasta 3rd gas station we’re at we’d like to fill up with water but then there’s one she doesn’t have the key to turn on the water ah that’s the false
Excuses the second one they are under construction, no one on the right and the 3rd one, no, they fill up with diesel if you want, but no water, so we’re going to go and see another station, we’re going to do everything in the city, plus we wants to put extra diesel
Yes yes the idea is we have a lot of diesel to make too but no and then it’s not even he gives water for money why not but no no it’s in fact there isn’t any so as
There is also no campsite or anything in the area well there is no way of going to get water in a campsite at the same time which never happens to us I would say but and we We absolutely need
Water and since we’re going to sink into the desert, we can’t leave without water, so we can’t leave the city until we find water. Chile, frankly, I’m starting to worry. It’s starting to come out of my eyes, I tell you, it’s unfortunate, but yeah, Chile,
Not to mention this thing, that’s flying, but yeah, we’re not hanging on the Chilean, really, I’m not sorry for the Chileans because there are still some nice people besides there are Venezuelans who stopped in the street earlier who were ready to help us with water but
They live too far away to return home the Chilean you read ask me have a question he says the question it’s the answer is paid in Argentina you say I have a question well yes even two or
Three he tells you straight away it’s a question of mentality in fact but it’s a question of education in fact as a Chilean told us in Chile the State is the boss it is the company
And you are a customer so in fact they were educated like that and they really pay for everything so in fact it’s completely logical for them that everyone pays for everything in fact it’s a different education which is clear in Argentina it’s a little bit everyone does as
They want each one a little bit their neighbor still casually and well it shows in the relationships with people we haven’t arrived eh we haven’t arrived we’re going to spend the whole city it’s going to cost us more than if we had bought water but at the same time time to buy water
Must be able to offer us some in all cases when I see the automatic timers at the bottom it’s a certainty there is water they water the mini strip of grass finally they water more people than something else oh no we can’t find water so well we’re going to go around there is
A station behind we’re going to go and ask for the 4th station how many hours have we been turning diesel it’s a thing of or not you can’t there is a car coming I don’t give a damn ah VO go 4th gas station there are only red lights that shit he’s
Getting angry I say it’s started to go to me we’re going to talk to us about ecology well or we CR 40 l of diesel to find water I have the impression that it’s going to be good we have to
See I think he cried a little that’s it is especially that at the beginning he asked the gas station attendant he said no he said go with my boss the boss he started to say no I think then finally
There was another one who arrived who said yes if we go see Julien but from a distance that’s what I got seen so I think it’s going to do it we’ll see if it does it’s Shelle who said ok well
Ultimately it won’t be with either it’s a client in fact the last one I thought it was a big one boss no it says water but it was a plate with a special tip to open
Supposedly they don’t have the trick to open well we’re going to continue turning you had to go back to the main street you have to turn left left go 5th chance we’ll ask we’ll see 5th station it’s the right one we fill up there and refuel there because it’s in the grassy part
Where there is access to water and well we will have traveled for miles this time we are leaving Antagasta for good it will have left us with a memory but then really not good and we continue towards Kalama but we are not in Kalama which still looks very good filled with
Thief also according to Deslander’s comments and we are going to turn to cross through the desert but tonight I think we are stopping in a small town we will perhaps go see a train museum tomorrow it looks like nice and the little town seems to be quiet go there we have a small
Animal cemetery and it’s unfortunate to say in general we don’t film too much when it’s dirty but there in fact wherever we look it’s disgusting there’s no saying it’s dirty dirty dirty uh I don’t know if
It’s the people where it says it’s forbidden to throw waste so it’s the people who do that it’s not the municipal dump and on the mountain in fact all the white cups that we see are waste that has flown away the other side there it’s a little less dirty but before
It was the same here at the exit from Antofagasta well there are a lot of companies and that I don’t know I imagine that it’s a storage it looks more like a Desch tricre thing but there is a lot of
Solar panel field also the thing is that with the dust we saw that they were covered in it so I don’t know they must have big solar panel cleaning sessions at times so Chile is also the landscape you are in the middle of the desert in at the same time I
Think it’s the only road to go to Calama and well it charges you a toll anyway you have no choice it’s that or it’s nothing I think what’s more it’s like 13 € for us
We’ll see and well that’s it truck 13500 pesau that’s all 13.58 € there you go ciao ah the bastards well well it hurts the ass CELI well so does it appear here it’s the Tropic of Capricorn well there
‘s nothing to see in real eh he could have put something like he could have put a little sign what the hell well it doesn’t matter they put cacti you imagine they must come and water them there one way or another it’s already that it’s terrible how the road is deserted
Here nothing nothing nothing holy train is it water that carries I won’t even be surprised ah furious [Applause] [Music] ah well he ended up ringing anyway come on let’s go out there pack of ring it’s a
Small town and we’re going to spend the night there I think this is the little town of bucket of ring come on we’re at the level crossing of the little train goes [Music] hello come on we’re going to go see this train museum I think that in C there’s
No one there anymore but we’re going to go and see all the same little special door for access to the football it’s fun we’re really in the middle of nowhere we’re in the middle of the woods iron
It feels good I tell you eh yeah it’s true it feels good not to be in a dirty corner here we go access to the train museum is not super glamorous on the other hand no one is going to bother us tonight in my opinion and in the middle of this hangar
There are old trains in fact that’s open it’s free that surprises me in Chile but hey it’s free apparently ah that’s it watch out for the cable up there there you go look at the old locomotives I asked a gentleman who lives there he
Is a train driver he told me you put yourself there on the stadium there is no problem you can go to the museum so the museum is that so it’s free we get in there it’s free
So we’ll go tomorrow morning where I’ll go for a little walk this evening there’s a kind of well yeah the pump the water reserve for the trains at steam in fact and he told me on
Foot you’re going opposite you want to buy something so we’re going to go buy a little thing at the cuyosco there and uh otherwise we had to go all the way around with the truck where it came from so he told me said
You leave the truck there and you go for a ride ah I like finding quiet little towns like that far from all this civilization there all these people everywhere look at all these wagons of sulfuric acid it’s huge huge there in three rows there is the
Bano station 5 1 2 3 4 5 all that is sulfuric acid for I don’t know a transformation of a lithium product still there is one all that is for the mines what and in Chile a lot of
American trucks yeah it’s not old these trucks there well come on we’ll go and see there [__] frankly I can’t do it with the Chileans it’s crazy stuff sorry if there one who
Looks at us because we have good people all the same we have met good people but not hello no goodbye nothing stupid head it’s a crazy thing [ __ ] not at all it’s crazy that and there I tell him
I see that they had the returnable cokes ah I say shit I forgot finally I forgot no it’s stupid I should have taken the empty bottle I say maybe you sell it to me and then
I’ll tell you brings her back she says no put we Argentina we do it all the time that’s go ahead take you take me back after the bottle we don’t care he in fact there is no there is no trust no one trusts each other
No one smiles no one says hello [__] it’s sad what it’s sad really it’s sad we who spent 4 years in silver and it’s yeah well I don’t know there’s a problem elsewhere than in Argentina frankly I think look at the
Ferry it’s too hot in the desert attack we cut the wings of the bus directly so that it cools down okay I’ll take it back on the phone more battery on the GoPro it’s well worth shaking this shit grape
Bananas and 500 g of goat cheese we paid €15. and the guy who was selling the chef outside he told me he’s the best chef yeah yeah ok ok I once I buy goat’s cheese in Chile is
Disgusting and there he makes me taste it [__] it had a little flavor it was good he and I say well go ahead ok how much does it cost €13 per kilo ah [__] you take the credit card he told me no I
Say ask the guy next door where we bought the fruits and vegetables if they want well I’ll take you for 6000 you see and he asks the guy the guy at the kiosk he says no it’s dead I say
B shit it’s stupid still after we go to the checkout with the grapes and the bananas and I have Vy you don’t want to add 6000 and then you give them to me in cash and like that I can buy cheese
So he told me if he was nice then no at the beginning he talked again for nothing he said says no yeah he spoke again without saying anything talked about in other videos so he ended up saying yes and then we bought some
Cheese which is super good come on we go back to the truck it’s gone we can’t go back to the truck we have the train we’re stuck and that’s not don’t stop the transport here ah that’s it we’re at the
End don’t stop look at that lot of sunshine over there as Marie would say it caught fire look look at how it caught fire we’re going to laugh when we look the video but there’s no point in exploding here because there we’re going to be with our feet in the acid
There’s an old van that’s a bit American there and the truck that’s over there well we came to make a little there at night with the M’s it’s impossible to do something because they say there
‘s a guy in the wagon we made him do something to scan you scan we Try maybe I tell them to get into the leagon over there stand at the window we took a photo we took the photo
Without the kids at the window they came out of there there is someone there is someone we took a nice photo with the locomotive there a lot of premises in fact package 1 2 3 4 premises all the same
Are for the trains you are free to climb in to turn around to look at everything well free in addition there is the same thing Mor to rotate the trains all the RA that c it’s a hospital vagon, be careful, that’s scary, pe don’t do sex with the kids, you remember
Halloween and he has a guy, guy, guy, but there are lots of vagons in fact B loc no but it’s bullshit it’s not a hospital that could be but no no it’s I don’t know what’s the matter with the rental who can’t separate from his wagon
Behind well inside bi we’ll film a lot of days anyway tomorrow but what’s more we can go to the kind of breakage there who is there there that we saw earlier he is beautiful this one
Look at his mother he is beautiful this one is the horror museum calls it that and what’s more we know ‘is raw in Argentina the truck is wide open there you can go in that one to take a photo
Or not no what I am cap no heard it is more cap but with one but no the adults they are afraid they are beautiful but in this family not the opposite no there are families you think it’s the opposite the adults they are more afraid than the childrenah that’s
The case no you just said no to a little girl to make the truck the big reserve there fleet there are beautiful locos anyway look at that a little width he would be happy what his name is our Swiss friends I don’t remember his first name Corine and and Jean-Marc
Corine and Jean-Marc he would be happy I think about it ah or we have to enlighten my son because Jean-Marc was a train conductor in Switzerland there are quite a few subscribers who like trains here eh well maybe we’ll do
A little thing for you tomorrow well no even it’s sure tomorrow day it’s a hassle because as soon as I take off the lamp we don’t see anything anymore and then everyone is scared plus you but you don’t tell me or not if I freak out I’ll bars
While running I don’t need to say it you’ll notice it’s huge take a look at what the others look like serious but this one is flat you saw there the front wheel it’s punctured minute oh [ __ ] but he still didn’t understand yes com understood
He said how I know which is the first he didn’t understand the goal there is no tire in fact it’s just right I know it can’t CR [Music] it was a joke for me it’s the same I love it I love locomotives like that I love it especially
When you’re turning it’s huge the noise it’s magnificent it’s funny the little wheel in front yeah I I’ve never seen a small wheel like that in front every time we see big wheels like that but a small one like that tell us if you know, the one we saw did
N’t have the small wheel in front no I don’t know I have to look on the train it doesn’t talk, well nothing to do with the stopover train either and there you wonder what it was I said I think
It’s for when the locomotive starts here it’s chimneys for evacuate all the smoke outside in my opinion because there is some everywhere in this car, come on, children, get into this one, why is it good, it’s for the animals [Music] Madagascar there, that’s it made a film of hooker and everything
There it’s hot I give [Laughs] B the guy he bled and everything by the party and everything you heard and there we have the big water tank we have another one there and the truck and there we have a big
Truck well it was good this little night ride to get into this one but it’s not a train Alex what’s the half yes you can hold your hand it’s going to go well and well we we go
Go eat we’re going to eat a what we’re eating so potato sausage in Chile we’re eating potatoes and a good little goat’s cheese that’s not bad eh we talked with yes I put my cap
On we talked with a guy who takes care of sorting out all the mechanical part of the trains there, a kind of boss I think and we could load water there apparently there is water
In any case it’s been 5 years since Didn’t rain in this city of what knows him he in all cases it’s not dangerous but he said for example me if I stay there I lock my car
What something we haven’t known come on you takes to the train so that’s good the chimneys when he started the trains so that all the evacuation could be something else Marie the acid wagons are for the copper treatment and how many there were C trains how many there were of wagons he says
There are around twenty or thirty wagons per train which each transport 30 tonnes around 25000 l we saw around I think 28500 l and well the acid is not treated or what in fact he gently pours this acid onto the earth of the copper mines the copper dissolves in the acid after
There is a treatment to recover the copper the acid which remains in the earth remains in the earth either it evaporates or it leaves in the ground and that’s all there is no treatment it is and it is every day trains with as much volume of acid which passes every day every day
Every day he said finally it’s is a crazy thing so I come back to ecology tell yourself that behind everything there is something else that you don’t see and which is undoubtedly worse that you
Don’t see but now you see it we finally explain it to you the wagons they are there from acid we met them yesterday we just spoke with the guy we are on the same planet we are in Chile
We are on the same planet as you in Paris what then I want to say it is not the worst in terms of contamination but already it’s not great no but if we do that to you for copper
With acid we do the same thing to you for lithium with I don’t know what product or and the system is the same and we live on the same planet you who are in Paris in your Tesla believing
That you save the world after that it’s good you can buy a Tesla I have nothing against the Tesla or any electric vehicle now I’m not sure if that’s the real future what’s the point if you want a tire there’s a tire there that’s tires that you don’t find much in Argentina 31
10 5 by 15 well it’s a little eaten on the other hand still a little in the tires us eh so what can we see on these trains the little front wheel that I said yesterday I’m
Going to get on one and it stopped I believe in 1900 no your confirmation or more than 100 years it’s more than 100 years old here uh they don’t maintain it and uh we don’t have the means to finish it yes me the
Trains could possibly be reused but it would be necessary to spend a lot of money to put them back in good condition but still feels like it’s still well maintained if only the buildings and the trains well I mean that doesn’t move that much and before it was trains
That transported passengers anyway it there is the station which is opposite we will perhaps see later and now there is more now it’s all for the money and all for the mines and and the passenger brings in less than extracting from copper and liitum
Bour all well today it’s fun let’s say eh eh go back [Music] open there we’ll see if there’s coal open where the little light there what kind of that there that a light
Opens no lift it what is it and go ahead try it then no a little wait well start go ahead fa do n’t fall in well don’t fall in C char it’s it’s good come on open the ves we’re going to spin oh it’s is what a fre go ahead
Park fre Alex slow motion slow motion slow we arrive at the station slow motion there it was to put the rifles we find cowboys that does that does that to [Music] rifle what does he have we can open so that yeah we open go go
Go on the other hand to go down do ga look at the spring blades really a safety chain on the blades oh the packet of l I don’t understand it’s how he caught it the coal the coal where was the coal but where he got it from catch I don’t know it’s the
Coal or the float therein the coal maybe in this part there for those who know tell us the part which is a little flat there and the tank the float we’re not going to put any on you coal in something too I don’t know I’ve always seen it in the
Films but that’s television Marie it’s like contamination is how we listen to this tell us where the coal was we should ask the gas but it’s no longer there it’s to lubricate I think yes that’s it maybe he came to lubricate
With a small oil can I don’t know if someone told us on YouTube or if someone told us about it in a museum or something but it speaks to me that we put oil in there it’s the brake pad there if it’s a pad I think
I lifted it I don’t know kind of big screw without hunger there which goes back into the cabin and which comes to open something here a kind of connecting rod there which is there I don’t really know what it’s for puttin there are leaf springs everywhere it’s suspended everywhere faitin the
Flapper look at the flapper they already had Ré poesto at the time with them eh that’s the thing it must be the arm yeah which is there that means that the thing if it farts they do that to you on the side of the
Road to lift the potato thing ah but there are other arms there look come on or maybe it was put there I don’t know just look at how beautiful it is, we’re in the middle of the distributor so
We see a large circle with all the tracks arriving on it and then he rotates the platform to send it to the right track for train maintenance what destination the
Train driver is going to and well for the moment it’s ah we’re not going to be able to take the train then the next destination is Buenos Aires Buenos Aires direct we go to Argentina we go back to Argentina so
Good for train enthusiasts here are the Chilean trains so it was national and when they stopped using the trains they left the transfer to Feronor, they are the ones who now work with trains on the woods, what is this in your opinion for enthusiasts,
What is this little thing? there’s a whole exhaust pipe or a vent I don’t really know no it doesn’t start it’s done see the cabin come see the cockpit starts vasy it starts ah but don’t look at a trap there to catch the coal and we start that no there’s
Nothing no no it stops there it’s a small box I really don’t know how he gets the coal I remember the coal it’s there the guy you have to call him directly you see come on but there it is ‘it’s
Not there it’s not like that but not knowledgeable enough about steam trains it’s blocked AVC blocked but a hole there there it’s where we put the coal what there it has a nice patch of asbestos I think here we are above the
Wagon we can see nothing ah there are steps there already we can go down there it’s not and there inside here we have a kind of wind there so the fleet here the fleet here and the coal here because that there are steps it is suspended well stop stop
Stop stop it is not going to fall have you seen how it is suspended it is going to fall it is huge and look at Coro in fact it is a Post Office wagon enc if we I’m going to go see the man of the children’s friend because you did
N’t see the scene but they came out on this wagon because they were so scared, you’re making a nice little boat there, it’s nothing, but seriously, look at the car on the rails [Music] as soon as they have a kind of coca-ola library I do
N’t really know what it doesn’t look like the MAN 4 running there [Music] serious Alex morning he tells me dad why did you start we’re not going to have any more diesel I it’s not
Me it’s the train ah it makes the same serious noise life also the one because 35 tonnes still 11 tonnes 340 empty say so but it looks too much like the truck except that in there I don’t have how many
Cylinders norm Cass ce it is broken or I think they are all a bit broken it heated too much this one is cracked on too much coal look the bottom of the motor there is a huge chassis and there is a motor look at it a
Bit it’s huge I need to get into the huge one and well that’s what gives electricity to the motor so I think kind of winding and everything in there we’re going to go around to see take a look at that this is what gives the Couron
Afterwards but there it’s the location of the pistons there it’s bi there dad the size of the piston there it’s almost 40 cm destroy broom look there is a collector rod everything is huge in fact it’s a V8 it’s a V8 block
Look but yeah it’s not bad the kind of access hatches there it locks like that there a big spring there it’s not stupid all oversized I don’t know how much weight it is I don’t know what brand it is there there are nameplates there but they are more precautionary plates oh I
Went from the ‘other side order of ignition of the cylinders [__] it is it is marked in French what is this engine block order of ignition of the cylinders right left good so there if there is any Anyone who can enlighten me is this block would be French there I bought this
Yesterday there 25 balls the canvas there I think it’s miante the other it’s more mine there than I bought but to put on the exhausts I will show you in a video I still haven’t done it I just bought the canvas yesterday that the exhaust vibrates the tu il VI so
It’s broken or holy shit a little bit of everything everything and nothing I say that if you watch this video and you struggle to connect your little trailer behind your car with your trailer sockets I say that there it’s even more of a mess then this one is the one who had the
Hooks yesterday no one wanted climb in and there on the other hand there is no problem that’s it there are the hooks going [Music] see ah shit I can’t close I wanted to close act smart it stinks of piss in there if it’s a little FLI cel you have done in tonasit
Pee in your pants look at the Belgians boom and Marpent 1913 limited company M mcin pierre Belgium look at the small Belgian plate then engine perhaps French and Belgian wagon delirious and there a huge jack it works C then Marie she saw on the plates where we put the oil on the
Premises there is marked what simington and there it is marked England I don’t really know that’s it but here goes little visit ends look at the water tanks there half of the premises there half a wagon which transported water and coal or water or coal I don’t really know
So there we have the crazy pump the water came down from the tank there it arrived on the pump the tap it is there so that’s just to make it turn I think so in my opinion it doesn’t turn anymore no who caught the chain there and then he put the chute above
What the hell what did we do today we went to do some shopping at the kiosco I have a black finger it’s no big deal and there was the cheese guy but I say well
At the kiosco I say let’s do it last time you gave me 5000 it’s the pancakes today today you put me 5000 on the credit card you give me 5000 like that I can pay for the cheese so it’s a big cheese
Like that he cuts it 5200 P no I don’t have the 200 but he says I’ll take them away from you 20 CEN so he did that we see the trace there he did that he did that it was more than 5000 POS it was 4800 I know
More briefly B no so he put it back and it was 4900 so ilenait from one end to the other he gave us that more tr bits like that what does the guy do he can’t leave it whole 20
Cents he leaves it whole he gives it to me like that he o the problem here is the difference with chileargentina you say that we criticize the France we don’t criticize France we make comparisons and here I make a comparison between Chile and Argentina I do the same thing
What is the guy he’s going to take off a little piece like that for 20 cents and finally added TR behind it’s whatever it was the experience of the day look it’s the entrance to the ‘Observatory the [Music] building look it’s the little town where we were with the trains
It’s still the same madness it’s the same as before yeah it’s the same no the little cemetery we have n’t seen it but it there was the gate yeah yeah installed the cemetery on the basketball court to
Make it like ah yes serious it’s not a cemetery it was the field it was a pleasure ah the liars plus we have to believe that they are in Bolivia then that we are in Chile so we
Didn’t understand why there was this door here marked 1901 with the cross we see the cross there but we find it strange that there is a Sim ti in this place now is that this door
It was not put there for the film and that it would not have remained not really understood because here it is a stadium now it is a football stadium with goals and very qure stands there perhaps
That this door it was put there for the film and it actually remained eh I don’t know ah but still they’re not going to make a football field on a cemetery it’s maybe an animal cemetery
So you see it it’s not the same no idea why this door is there we don’t know we do n’t know weird in any case it’s too funny because we’re watching the J Bond film which
Is filmed there it’s not rocket science which is filmed there and we find images of where we are what we left there P hair here well I looked on the internet they say that it is an entrance door to a church which was demolished in fact maybe that there were graves around
The church at the time and I don’t know about the film there were graves and then we there was nothing there was a football stadium but the door was still there come on says good night ciao while waiting for the next video you can also follow us on Instagram and [Music] Facebook

A bientôt ❤
