St. Regis Amman – Governors Suite

welcome back to the channel and today I
wanted to show you what you could expect
from the St reges in Aman Jordan please

reviewing in the future so um I came to
this hotel um I originally booked the
grand deluxe room with the high floor
this was a points redemption I did apply
the sweet upgrade award and was upgraded
to the governor Suite um now I’m going
start off showing you the breakfast
spread which is very very impressive but
perhaps the most impressive thing about
this hotel was my interactions with
Ahmad he’s the uh restaurant manager I
believe of this restaurant Merado this
is where you have breakfast in the
morning and just a wonderful spread of
things that you have
here now what made the interaction
memorable with him we were talking I had
been traveling I came from aripa pedu I
was I guess comparing the petas and
aripa has a
something similar to Petra a different
color stone but it’s kind of considered
the mini Petra I was telling about that
and how much I love Ceviche
so after you know our conversation I
thought was done but yeah he came back
over asking if I would like to have some
Ceviche which for sure wasn’t on the
menu um so just a really top gesture
from him offering that his Chef made
saiche for me with Jordanian seab bass
which was a excellent surprise and
something I’ll never forget you similar
to this breakfast bread which is just
huge there’s also an alak cart menu
which I’ll show you in a bit and also I
have
the uh well what I had from that alak
cart menu too uh the eggs benedict which
were fantastic with salmon so I’m going
let you take a look at the rest of the
breakfast spread here also after this
I’ll let you uh join in for the tour of
the lobby uh this was from my Butler
you’re assigned a butler at St reges
Maya who tell you about some
things about the hotel as we kind of
walk through the lobby and see
that oh no I don’t talk I I do it later
like in editing so yeah yeah it doesn’t
work
so Mr the she’s going to escort you and
explain her about the facilities okay so
I hope you enjoy St and if you need
anything my name is just a time okay
thank you thank you so much enjoy
okay so this is your first time
hearing not the first time time at the
brand but the first time in Jordan at
this particular St region yes so would
you like me to explain a little bit
about the facilities um sure sure so
this is the ground FL right here you
have the tea Lounge you can have your
afteron
tea have sore you can have your aloh
drinks okay so is that where the uh I I
chose the drinks uh for that that’s
where you okay we have that in the same
okay and you have F on the first St is
the breakfast from 6:30 till 11: okay
you also have a cigaretta it’s a m of
cuine between French Italian and
California Ste and lastly you have Tamar
restaurant which is Middle Eastern
cuisine specifically or you can see okay
and you also have um also on the first
floor this uh the gy and the Spells of
the LG FL
okay
and you have a Resturant on the 17th
Floor called Zena it’s a girl House
restaurant and a lunch okay okay can say
like a dining area right
specifically
okay so here is the governor’s
Suite so yeah this room was absolutely
huge on the website it says 1496 Square
F feet I believe it so you’ve got the
guest bathroom as you come in
here so essentially a half bathroom you
have here
again this is a much more modern St
reges than the St reges in Mexico City
which I do like the Mexico City location
but it’s a bit dated with design but
this is much more modern so in here
you’ve got the huge dining table got the
private office back here if you need to
get some work
done and I really love the design of
this room probably the showstopper is
the view that you have out of this room
of Aman which is absolutely beautiful
you see the dining table chandelier up
there just plenty of space to entertain
people if that’s what you want to
do got a chair and an orament back here
and you do have a kitchenet as well in
the back here now there were no pots if
pans uh
utensils plates and such but uh was told
that you could yeah I guess if you
wanted to cook that you could order
those things they have a coffee maker
water heater
sixpack of waters coffee teas available
here again you got a stove and
everything for
cooking it’s a really nice touch there
as we come out of the kitchenette make
our way through the dining
room and we head to our right into the
living room area so you got the a
U-shaped couch there more
seating and you’ve got the view of a man
out here a huge
TV so here’s the view that you have of a
man just to give you an idea there so I
arrived in yeah late afternoon I arrived
to a
mine so as we come out here now here’s
the controls so everything you’ve got
wall panels to control everything again
these kind of rooms can get kind of
complex there I was trying to mess
around but it’s that middle section of
buttons that control the curtains upon
further
review so make a turn out here so you’ve
got the master bedroom out
here so you’ve kind of got the entry way
into
that here’s the bathroom so you do have
a separate tub and shower and the toilet
that’s all separate graded there double
vanities there’s the toiletry Ren
toiletries and what they’re
using there’s the toilet there you have
a bed separate Bas and then you’ve got
the walkin shower and with shower shower
was pretty good pretty good there so you
do have the rainfall shower and the one
attached to the wall whichever you want
to use but huge shower tons of
room and you come out here you notice
the king bedroom and you got the walk-in
closet like the chandelier up there um
but a little bit more about this um
Hotel so you can choose a welcome gift
maybe it’s for Titanium or higher I do
have titanium stat status um
there’s four options there was two
drinks at the St re’s bar a snack I’m
not sure the other two options I really
can’t remember but I chose the two
drinks at the St re’s bar so I think
that’s good um again you saw the
breakfast which was incredible
complimentary for uh titanium members
also note you do get 20% off of food and
beverages so not sure if it’s for all
titanium members or titanium and above
all bomboy members or titanium above not
sure but nice benefit there if you want
to dine in your room or something on
property so I’m going to leave you with
the gym which is fairly small uh for
this hotel but um as always I do
