I have shared interests in hiking and photography with my father and during my stay in France this spring we decided to hike on the Riviera Hills of Esterel behind the little coastal town of Theoule while the weather was still mild and not hot (in season not only the temperature is a problem but also the wildfires) and go to the memorial Notre Dame d’Afrique (Our Lady of Africa) there then hike back down on a balcony trail above the cliffs and the sea and enjoy splendid views. in French/ en français : Je partage des intĂ©rĂŞts avec mon père en matière de randonnĂ©es et photo, et pendant mon sĂ©jour en France ce printemps nous avons dĂ©cidĂ© d’aller randonner ensemble dans les collines de la CĂ´te d’Azur, les collines de l’EstĂ©rel derrière la petite ville cĂ´tière de ThĂ©oule sur Mer pendant que le temps Ă©tait encore doux et pas encore caniculaire (pendant la saison chaude, non seulement les fortes tempĂ©ratures posent problème mais Ă©galement les risques d’incendie ) et d’aller aussi visiter le mĂ©morial de Notre Dame d’Afrique qui se situe dans ces collines puis de redescendre par le sentier suspendu au dessus de la mer. Nous avons pu ainsi profiter de vues splendides.
