    My 2 Nights onboard MSC VIRTUOSA was a BIG Surprise

    This was one of the most eventful cruises I think I’ve ever been on! Welcome to my full experience of sailing 2 nights onboard MSC Virtuosa from Southampton U.K. to Belgium and back! I’d heard short MSC cruises can be very busy and loud with the party atmosphere in full swing and long lines so I’m finding out for myself what the reality is like! I’ll take you through the embarkation process, muster, all meals onboard (including speciality Mexican dining at Hola), facilities (rope course, pools, water park), some of the entertainment, all before the BIGGEST surprise of my life when I’m given the mother of all cabin upgrades on day 2. You’ll never believe what cabin I was moved to!! Let’s DO this!

      Hola! is my go to embarkation meal on MSC ships- we will pay out of pocket for the all you can eat. It saves us the turkey fight at the buffet – really makes for a more relaxing experience.

      Jammy b*****d…I am due to board the Virtuosa in the middle of June with my two mates – can't wait. Great review, I now plan to stay onboard during one of the dockings to go to the water park and maybe the high ropes – can't wait….It will be my first cruise. Can't afford YC so will just have to find those odd quieter spots to chill in.

      Just wondering, Is this 2 day cruise worth doing? I’m thinking about taking the mrs but after seeing your video it looks great but BUSY, that puts me off.
      I was on the Aurora a few weeks ago and queued for literally nothing and I loved the simplicity of that…

      I am soooo confused why they upgraded you maybe because it’s for one night???? Ive been upgraded from inside cabin to balcony but NEVER YC and yes I am Diamond… with 7 ships under my belt!

      We loved Virtuosa last year on a 3 night booze cruise, which was our first cruise on her.
      We're booked again on back to back short cruises in September for my wife's 40th and our 15yr wedding anniversary…YC for 3 nights then Bella Balcony for 4…I'm praying they just tell us we can stay in YC for the 2nd cruise 😂😃 If not we'll still have a great time 👏🏻

      I’m going on this ship at the end of August on my own with 15 year old son. I’ve cruised loads but usually with lots of family members and never on MSC before. I’m hoping we will enjoy it.

      Too many people,too much queing,not relaxing at all.I saw an ad for a cruise on this ship today,was seriously thinking of booking one for next year,will give it a miss.

      I got off Virtuosa only last month after a two week cruise, balcony cabin Fantastica grade (meaning free breakfast delivery). Like you I was looking forward to some good coffee to start the day, but unlike you I was delivered a large jug of hot water and a Nescafe sachet, the same as is already in the cabin with the kettle. Not happy, and subsequently left the coffee off my menu card, instead ordering hot milk and making myself a lovely latte (or two).

      Up graded very nice, but if you weren’t a blogger, I doubt you would have got that much of an upgrade. Great advertising for them, see if I get. An upgrade next month , wish full thinking ❤

      I was on beautiful Arcadia for 16 days with brother Roy in C105 lovely food great entertainment wonderful experiences in shanghai and Hong Kong 2018 thanks for sharing your trip on Arcadia Jamie
