The So-Called Travel Expert brings you a short video on travelling from Germany (Frankfurt) to Paris by high speed train. A journey of ~500 km is covered in less than 4h by the train travelling on a dedicated high speed line (LGV Est) at speeds of 320 kmph.
There are 6 daily connections offered by DB (ICE) and SNCF (TGV Inoui) between Paris and Frankfurt. The trains travel at speeds upto 250 kmph between Mannheim and Strasbourg, and at 320 kmph (non-stop) between Strasbourg and Paris.
Advance tickets can be purchased for as low as €39.90 (per person) one way. Interrail pass holders are entitled to free travel, but must pay €17 for compulsory seat reservation.
