Tour du Mont Blanc 2024 – Highlights

Tour du Mont Blanc, organized by Macs Adventures in a self-guided format. From July 19th to the 29th, 2024, we hiked through France, Italy, and Switzerland, completing the loop around Mont Blanc. The trip started with a day in Geneva and ended with an extra day in Chamonix.

Route Overview:
Day 1: Les Houches to Les Contamines
Day 2: Les Contamines to Les Chapieux
Day 3: Boug-St. Maurice to Courmayeur
Day 4: Courmayeur to Champex
Day 5: Champex to Trient
Day 6: Trient to Tre-le-Champ

We were lucky to enjoy perfect weather throughout the trip (aside from a foggy Day 1), and had incredible views of Mont Blanc. The “In Comfort” part of Mac’s trip name meant staying in very nice and comfortable accommodations every night, with luggage transfer between stays, so we only had to carry our day packs.

This entire video was filmed on an iPhone 15 stabilized with a DJI Osmo Mobile 6, and a few drone shots captured with a DJI Mini 2.
