18 Days Across Norway: An Insane Road Trip Through Epic Landscapes

In 5 weeks, I’ll be driving through 9 countries and covering nearly 14,000 kilometers (8,700 miles) on my road trip to the North Cape. In the sixth part of this epic journey, I’ll take you through the breathtaking landscapes of Norway, where I’ll finally reach the iconic North Cape before traveling back south through some of the most stunning scenery this country has to offer.

I’ll explore the wild, untamed north, including the dramatic Vesterålen and the enchanting Lofoten Islands, where jagged peaks rise straight out of the sea and picturesque fishing villages seem frozen in time. Along the way, I’ll visit Stetind, Norway’s majestic national mountain, and hike in the Jostedalsbreen National Park, home to the largest glacier in mainland Europe.

I’ll also visit Norway’s vibrant cities, including Tromsø, often called the “Gateway to the Arctic”; Trondheim, Ålesund, known for its unique Art Nouveau architecture; and Bergen, the gateway to the fjords and home to the iconic Bryggen Wharf.
