    1. Guys, great video as always. Let me give you some options
      Small bikes and Big bikes
Mopeds, Scooters, Bikes and Big Bikes
Bikes and Big Bikes. (This last one is my favorite).
Each to there own but I like to start at 7 and ride until lunch. It is much cooler in the morning and there is less traffic. Also, if something goes wrong, you are not left struggling in the dark.
My go to position, with the food is, if in doubt ask for chicken fried rice. (Cow Pat Guy. That is my bad phonetic spelling)
Finally, as I may have mentioned, motor camping on an old Vespa around the world is still my old man’s dream. If I was half my age with much better health, I would not be here writing this.

      Keep up the good work.

    2. Are your Africa Twins manual or DCT Rich?
I have a Honda rebel 1100 same motor but with the dct auto gearbox and loving it got sick of changing gears after 50years of riding although i did love my KTM 890r what a weapon for going around corners. Mae hong son he we come yippee πŸ‘πŸοΈπŸ›΅πŸ™

    3. Back in the day mopeds had to be no more than 50cc & had to have pedals & mostly had top speeds of around 26 – 35 mph . In the 1970 β€˜s the Japanese & others brought out versions of their normal 50 cc motorcycles , that had pedals & would reach speeds of up to 50 mph plus called sports mopeds . The government weren’t too happy about , that & in the late 1970 β€˜s , brought in a law that restricted all mopeds registered new after that date , had to be restricted to around 30 mph , & didn’t need to have pedals . Now any 50cc bike & scooter restricted to around 30 mph is classed as a moped pedals or no pedals . Mopeds built before the restriction that have top speeds over approx 28 – 30 mph can still be classed as mopeds, providing they still have working pedals attached , but they will be around 46 + years old . Regarding that dodgy looking scran , you had containing meat & vegetation , looked like they had scooped it out of a swamp. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

    4. Hi Rich & Ewa,
Wow, great episode! – through the twisties with the odd moment in the corners, classic, reminds me of long ago days on my Lambretta in the late 60's.
Rich, your eating is getting more adventurous, you'll be down the Thai take away in Exeter when you return……..if you return, this adventure is a brilliant advert for Thailand for those of us who've never been.
Keep going guys, doing what you do – take care & ride safe.

    5. Another great video. Have a look at the Honda CT125, they are the true adventure bikes in Thailand. You don’t need a petrol station as lots of small shops sell petrol in bottles by the litre, ask for β€œnam man” and they will either have it or point you in the right direction. If you think the food might be spicy ask for β€œMai Pet” which means not spicy. Normally a Thai farm worker will earn between 300 to 400 baht a day.

    6. Great video as always! I think Eva had it near Bangkok, but must try the Khao Soi Gai (Chicken much better than beef – best if you get with whole chicken legs-) in Chiang Mai. Very famous Northern Thailand dish and one of my, and many others favorites.

    7. oh man…i do like your wife bro. she is so easy when it comes to food hahahah… and she enjoy everything she does on her journey. don't get me wrong…I love you too bro. thnx for all your footage on YouTube. I have learned a lot from your motorcycles trips. greets..

    8. Thats me and the Mrs back in Thailand today, just come from Scotland
BTW the roads in NE Thailand are relatively poor compared to your current experience
I have a bunch of bikes at my house in Khon Kaen, but recently sold my CBR650R, it was horrible and too peaky on the Thai roads. Im a bit ruined as in Scotland i have 1290 Superduke GT & Tuono V4 1100 Factory
Think before end of this year for here in Thailand i will buy a Honda Forza 350 or Yamaha S Max for kicking around Thailand on
I have the Honda PCX 160 but find it a bit soft as well as Mrs having smaller stuff like you are on now
If you make it to Khon Kaen give me a shout, happy to show u village life 😊

    9. Say guys, did you know that the Thai kitchen also can provide you with Vegetarian food, I mean most Asian countries have a lot of Veggie food to begin with, and usually meat can be added later on, or fish if you desire that. So if you do not want to take a risk of getting sick due to odd meat, or unwell cooked meat or meat your stomach can't handle; like bat-meat you usually can ask for the Veggie option.
The food is usually so tastefully that you wouldn't even miss the meat, since meat on itself barely has got any taste…

    10. Another great video. In the nine times that I’ve been to Thailand, me and my wife only got food poisoning once, which was from a restaurant. We think it was the fried fish as we both had. My daughter was fine as she didn’t have any. Eaten loads of street food without any issues.

    11. It can't get any better, what a delightful country to ride in. Once again Rich, your expressions when the oriental food is put before you, is a treat to behold. Eva keep an eye on him and watch what he is eating.. Great stuff guys.πŸ˜…πŸ‘πŸ

    12. Another amazing video you two, it’s the highlight of my days watching you, always makes me laugh ❀ Love you bye πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

    13. Great video ,googled the shoe thing, sorry to bore you !…mostly applies to countries that have traditionally used floors to sit on while doing the typical household activities.,cooking as an example. Interestingly studies have shown we can bring in heavy metals and other toxic stuff on our shoes. My cat ignores all of this 😸.πŸπŸ‘

    14. The noodle cart is from Chai Si franchise which you can find practically in any town in Thailand. There are thousands of them in Thailand. There are more than 500 such carts in Bangkok alone. The price is about $1.20. It is a quick meal for most Thais.
