Clean Cruise Ship Power, Kiel Germany One Day Town Tour and Great Belt Bridge Crossing!

Today we tour Kiel Germany and at this port our ship plugs into shore power. This means no running engines while in port and the town powers our ship by clean shore side power. This is a huge step forward in eliminating cruise ship air pollution. We hope to continue to see this as an improvement in cruise ship air pollution.

We also tour Kiel Germany and enjoy the dining and the shopping and have our favorite German lunch, the Dornier Kabab!

    1. Nancy I will recommend that you made chicken soup from scratch and add bone marrow bones it helps tremendously for your knees…excellent for your skin, and muscles. 😊😊😊

    2. I always just get a plain doner, just meat and the pita. No sauce or veggies. I think sometimes that I actually get a larger portion of meat. They are so affordable. Twice when I gave gotten one in Bacharach, Germany, I had to make sure that I was charged for everthing.

    3. I wish that for gyros in the US, they would use a pockey pita rather than using it as a wrap. It is actually easy to bake them – I was successful on my first attempt

    4. We love ❤your videos! Thank you. Clean power? Germany’s renewable energy infrastructure, though growing rapidly, has not yet been able to fully meet the country’s energy demands. As a result, Germany has increasingly relied on coal, one of the dirtiest fossil fuels, and natural gas imports to bridge the energy gap.

    5. Thanks for showing us the kebab – that was how the shawarma was made in Saudi Arabia. The real meat roaring is so different from that nasty pressed stuff.

    6. Plenty of doner kebabs in Britain – popular after a day drinking in the pub. Thanks for the vids – always interesting. Not seen a Woolies for years.
