Crazy Huss Pirate Ship (2004 Off-Ride Footage) CentrO.Park in Germany
The European Coaster Club visited CentrO.Park (now known as Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Oberhausen) in Germany as part of its 2004 German Colossal Coasterbahn tour. During the visit many club members rode the Huss Pirat (pirate ship) ride – and this video includes off-ride footage of that ride in action, showing the crazy amount that it swings…many people in the end rows were pretty much standing up…quite scary but a lot of fun! The ride operated in Germany from 2001 to 2010 and since 2011 operates as Sjörövarskeppet at Kolmården in Sweden.

I hope the ride got a new home
That’s the widest arc I’ve seen on a pirate ship ride, nearly perpendicular to the ground.
