Do a Kewpie Mayo FREE factory tour in Kobe, Japan
This was one of our favourite factory tours in Japan! Kewpie is probably everyone’s favourite mayonnaise, and there’s a factory in Saga (Kyushu), Kobe, and Goka (Ibaraki) that you can visit for free. The schedule for reservation comes out about 1 month in advance, and it’s not held every day, so it may take some time to make sure it aligns with your itinerary but you definitely won’t regret it! They have mayonnaise tours and salad dressing tours, and are careful to support English attendees, even if the staff can only speak Japanese.
This 1.5-hour tour is not high commitment, and it’s a lot of fun!

I'd go to this 😊 kewpie is delicious and it's always interesting to find out how things are made. Have been to plenty of breweries and distilleries, so this would be a nice change.
