On a recent #solo trip to #Greece I unexpectedly had a little #nightlife in #Athens How safe was it??? I don’t recommend walking outside late at night in a foreign country, especially as a woman, but here’s my experience trying to hang out in Athens for a bit in the wee hours of the morning before I get my ferry to #Santorini in the morning! Out for a few drinks and a little weekend cheat eats at McDs. With just a few minutes to let my hair down and catch my breath, I had a little me time to sit out front of my hotel before I head back up to repack and make my way to the train to get my ferry! #Santorini has always been a dream trip of mine to take for Valentine’s Day, so I finally pulled it off. With all of the earthquakes and evacuations on SANTORINI island at the time, I wasn’t sure it would work out. I had heard reports that the island was closed and Blue Star Ferry wasn’t operating there, but look how it turned out! A lot of stores were closed and hardly no one was there, but as an #introvert that was music to my ears!
