    Epic lakeside camping at Los Bermejales. Tackling the breathtaking Cacín River Trail, dodging dangerous caterpillars, and pushing both the van (and my sanity) to the edge of the world on steep mountain roads but somehow, we made it out alive!

    Thank you so much for watching. If you are new here, I’m Heidi and I live aboard my Narrowboat The Rum Wench and travel the UK’s Canals in search of Adventure. After selling my house to experience an alternative lifestyle I bought a canal boat and a camper van which as a solo female who loves to travel, gives me the best of both worlds. I have recently got myself a new addition to the crew, a fabulous companion – my little rescue dog Bonny who is an absolute joy and the perfect First Mate. I also work full time off grid from my floating home making badges and trading at canal festivals as The Narrowboat Pirate aboard The Pirate Boat.

      Loving the scrambling up the steep rock, 3 points of contact and a cool head and you can't go wrong.
      Exercise and getting fit out in nature is the best therapy 😁

      Great views in Spain's outback but be careful when sitting down as there are 11 types of snakes in Spain, but only three of these are venomous, don't know if you have ever considered wearing gators in foreign countries ? 🤔

      I lived in South Africa for 25 years and the scenery at the end of the world reminded me of some of the beauty spots in South Africa such as God's Window and the blydepoort Canyon

      what a great adventure! so lovely to see. no i don't think the van would of made it, its to risky after last year!
