Appreciate your content, Josh
thanks for sharing these tips Josh💪
That's very interesting about the crisp notes
for the first tip about not having a onward flight.. what if i was wanting to land cross into another country and hitchhike?
for example fly to thailand, and hitchhike to cambodia and fly home from there?
Thanks for sharing brother 😊
Really useful tips thank you! I wish I had this video before my first backpacking trip!
Great tips as always Josh. 👍🏻
You gonna be back in Hua Hin in the near future, Josh (without your Crocs!)?
Another excellent vid Dude, the "info" content and advice is spot on as usual. The first time I got challenged in regards to onward travel was at Godofredo P. Ramos Airport after dossing in Boracay for a few weeks. At the time the airport resembled a shed, and Borocay was an untouched paradise; long before the D-Mall was built and the boom in hotels; and just before tourism killed it for me. I had a domestic flight to Manila, then an onward flight from Manila to Hong Kong. The saviour was producing my Hong Kong Permanent Residency ID card.
In addition to the clothes I was travelling in, I used to travel very light with one small bag. In the small bag I had two pairs of underwear, two pairs of shorts, two t-shirts, a pair of flip flops, my passport, wallet/money/cards, insurance docs, my sunnies, a sun hat and a tooth brush. I did not bother with a phone or a camera. Other stuff like soap, toothpaste, clothes detergent etc. I could buy in very small sizes in the locations I was heading to. They were very happy days.
Take it easy Dude, keep up the good work 👍
Great tip, thanks bro!
As always, absolutely awesome information. Your videos are far superior to those on other channels.
You always give great useful information!!
Some of the info in this video I knew about, but a lot of it I had not. I love getting new info that can help me on future trips.
Power banks can be a great asset on a trip. But for those who don't have them that might get one, the airlines do have restrictions on how powerful they are (or something like that). They have to be at a level no higher than 100wh or 27000mah. I am not that tech savvy, but that's what I saw when I looked it up when I bought mine. Whether or not the airlines actually check it, I don't know. But I would rather have one that they would allow me to take on the plane.
Again, awesome video. Fantastic info.
Thank you!
Airlines are starting to disallow power banks of any size…
Brilliant as ever, very informative thank you 🙏🙏
Great video bro
So having an onward ticket is just fine or do i need to prove somehow I'm going to leave the country? I'd think that having any ticket would show my intention to travel. What's your thoughts?
Remitly is a great UK alternative to Western Union, often better rates and more convenient pick uo spots, plus faster transfers. For everday cash though Wise has been fantastic and has saved me a fortune in fees.
Great advice, thanks 😊
When it comes to booking an onward departure flight there is no way for immigration to know if you intend on using it or not. They are not mind readers. You simply show them the email invoice and that is all. Only you know if you intend on using it or not.
