[Music] hello We’re back Vacation And guess where we’re going we’re going to the United States of America Oh wait a minute Wrong video We’re going to Tokyo Yeah I forgot the name of the um airport We’re going to Hanada Hanada Hanad Got to say that with our haunted dog We’re going to eat a lot of food We’re going to take a lot of videos and we’re going to have a lot of fun We’re going to be about about a week in So you’re welcome Oh yeah That’s right Guys check it out We got booties Nobody knows my We’re about 5 hours in and we’ve just been watching movies and we’re experiencing turbulence So we can’t take off our seat belts right now but as you can see we’re over the ocean right now Halfway from Seattle to Tokyo We’re almost there Boom Heat Heat [Music] [Music] [Music] People aren’t honking at each other out here Somebody bumped into me and actually bowed to me and you know in a way of saying sorry That was impressive cuz they would not do that in America Wow This is going to be so fun guys Yes And Patrick’s taking me to my favorite restaurant Yeah And we’re going to go out to eat So first that’s the first thing Yes I’m starving If I don’t get food you’re going to get a hangry sky Wow That way Okay Hi guys It’s about 6:00 in the morning here in Tokyo and I’m going to be doing a little bit of exploring today You guys I’m sorry my videos are so quick I can’t really emphasize on how good the food is and what restaurants are what I can’t really emphasize too much about this and that like most people do in their videos And that’s just because of time Um you know I don’t have as much time as most people do I I mostly do these videos for fun because I love to travel and you know explore and uh Japan is definitely a place I’ve never been before So I know this is going to be a long vis video as it is Um this is another place I want to I want to check out here They’re not open right now but supposedly uh Oh they got some crazy good stuff I mean check this out Look at that Woo big old sandwich going on there huh so yeah Uh today I don’t really have any plans per se Me and my friend are just going to be spontaneous and uh see where we end up As of this particular second I’m heading to 7-Eleven for the second time because oh my gosh there’s so many cool things to choose from And it’s so inexpensive Just a nice little breakfast sample for first breakfast because you know I’m going to definitely get second breakfast too Yes second breakfast Anyways um dude’s totally jaywalking I don’t want to take the chance Thanks for watching Continue understand they come over here and they put some of the breeze on them or some of the incense and uh it gives you good luck prosperity happiness Oh you can really smell it It’s incense [Music] And I guarantee you it’s on my clothes right now [Music] All right Looks like I’m about to see my fortune Number 28 Oh bad fortune You got to go tie it I got a bad fortune Oh no I got a good fortune She got a good fortune So it looks like I’m going to have to go tie this thing Unfortunately I got a bad one So got to tie it so it doesn’t come true [Music] And you get to keep your horse because it was a [Music] right Gotcha [Music] So it’s time to learn a little bit about Tokyo money So I feel really rich If you want to see why $1,000 But if that doesn’t make you feel good then why don’t you just cash out $5,000 if that’s still not enough what about $10,000 baby I’m rich I’m just playing Okay so let me tell you a little bit about this dino here When you first come to Tokyo if you haven’t been here in Japan before their money is a little bit more complicated than Korea I went to Korea and uh I caught on pretty quickly The good thing about Tokyo is because if you’re a foreigner you get tax exempt on mostly everything that you purchase Now not every store does it but a lot do Just make sure you’re always carrying your passport Yes with your passport you can get tax exempt across Tokyo and many places And trust me it does save a lot because we spend a lot Now you don’t want to overspend right you have a limit right okay Well let me explain that to you Um without having a limit you’re definitely going to overspend because these numbers go fast I had double this and in just a few days I’m down I didn’t know how much to bring but I definitely brought enough There’s an app you can download which is actually extremely simple It’s called currency And on currency you can actually type in how much this is and convert it to USD Or you can vice versa do any country of your choice And uh it’ll make it easy for you to keep track That way when you’re shopping out there and you see something that you want let’s say it’s 10,000 which actually means 10,000 yen you can actually figure out what it is by typing it in your app and it’ll translate it for you That helped me save money everywhere I’m talking 7-Elevens and uh shopping purchasing things for my store and so forth So it’s it’s definitely learning But like I said as you’re out there exploring Tokyo don’t forget your passport Tax exempted baby Why not and here I am making more dreams come true It is seriously the meal let’s see And the food has arrived [Music] Start cooking Don’t mind if I do It’s really good Did I lose an onion oh I hope not cuz I love onions a lot Uhuh Those my You got your own onion Excuse me Did I we share in this place You got your own onions don’t I it’s about 9:00 at night And a lot of people told me that here in Japan the 7-Elevens are just crazy awesome with some good stuff So let’s go check it out See what they have to offer I don’t think this 7-Eleven’s going to be for people who are on a diet I mean this is just awesome Look at this We don’t have anything like [Music] that man They’re just little banana [Music] chocolates ice creams soda groo soda Did I say that right oh man And I’ve seen these these brulets and uh the prices are actually Yeah Just like they say they’re actually really really cheap It’s like a high quality 7-Eleven Last thing I have to capture are these sandwiches right there The chicken egg with teriyak sauce Goodness sakes man thing is they’re not even expensive here It’s like super super cheap Look at this And I’m pretty sure it’s a lot healthier too Anyho hope you like the quick quick video of 7-Eleven Hey guys when uh Tokyo says “Hey food is cheap here.” Well I just got back from 7-Eleven And uh yeah so I totally spent $1270 which actually equivalents to $8.65 in American cash That’s crazy Watch what I got Okay so remember what I said $8 right i got this wonderful milk tea bottle of water Got to have your water down here Seriously Especially because of all the walking you’re going to be doing Not one but two These are actually the uh egg pork sausage and kimchi Two of them I’m not done this wonderful sandwich right here This is actually the chicken egg and teriyak sauce sandwich That’s going to that’s going to be really good And for dessert we’re going to take a caramel tart bar Can you see that there yeah All that for eight bucks in Colorado And this actually would have probably been let’s see 5 10 15 16 17 18 19 like $20 Actually more than $20 So hey 7-Eleven definitely a way to go Found this cute little ice cream place This says Cold Stone on it But here they have a flavor I’ve never tried before So I think I’m going to give it a shot It’s this one right here Oia This is the place right [Music] here Look at that You have to eat it here This is totally one of the best places that we went to so far just for a snack Tco And um they have this uh famous huge way of eating it And it’s baked not fried which is awesome Yeah Anyways we’re getting one Tokyo curry pan And this is supposed to be like the the one that has the stretch with the cheese Oh my gosh look at that Genius creation It’s going to be hot Amazing No big stretchy cheese Yeah Right there Hot You got to get a good stretch That’s hot I think that counts as my stretch No that doesn’t No you got to get a good one The viewers are waiting I don’t think I can Yes you can I got I was able to get one Slow Oh you ate it Yeah you did We’re at a Roman place that’s actually pretty famous here This is where people have their own cubicle per se And this is mine [Applause] Pretty excited to try this I’m actually at Denny’s for breakfast And the Denny’s here is not like the Denny’s in America Here This is a chicken curry steak with rice And I’m telling you guys right now this thing is amazing I mean the chicken is steak is so soft And the rice it’s like a jasmine rice And then Skye over here Oh my god it was so good It’s like a egg curry Egg omelette Egg curry omelette Oh my gosh Yeah Um when I was thinking about Denny’s I was thinking about how it is where I come from and it’s not even close to this kind So for tonight’s entree my friend has chosen the Aaboo Kai Kin And here we wait for them to open So it was about an hour and 15 minute wait but it is going to be so worth it It’s a really small restaurant so what you really should do is either do a reservation or be first in line And here it is [Music] My friend just got hers as well And we’re about to make a dream come true I’m going to record now You got it So your egg You’re supposed to take this egg here and you cut it Although your egg just fell over Oh my egg fell over Do you want to record mine so basically um you want to record mine yeah So so this isn’t a good example but this is non-stop no cuts All right so this is what’s supposed to [Music] happen And of course that would happen to me My luck right anyways no more I’m going Well well well I had to do a video number two on the 7-Eleven finds because this is awesome There’s my receipt So I spent 1062 yen which actually equivalates to about $7.25 This one was a learning lesson This big water bottle right here was 100 yen which in my cash is 68 cents I’m still learning but I kind of learned my lesson on this If you buy these little bottles here for 100 it’s the same price as this big one So you can just keep refilling it I actually have a refrigerator here in the hotel so I could just keep refilling it and save myself a lot of money But 68 cents for this That’s crazy Then also today I did try what I wanted to yesterday this one So this beautiful piece is a fried rice egg and green onion Little breakfast sample I also saw something in there that I showed you in the video that I I just I couldn’t pass up but it was the curry bun So there it is The curry bun And uh we rip this thing open Dang Look at that inside Woo That’s going to be good I don’t want to eat on camera That’s going to be good Uh we have to finish it off too with two more things here Got these I’m going to be buying these every day because these are probably the best drinks I’ve ever had Um these ones are about 190 yen So a little over a dollar for these Oh dude I’m going to I’m loading up my fridge with these and I’m probably going to go back And then for a dessert this morning to be honest with you I don’t even know what flavor it is I just saw the swirl and I saw the brown and I was like you know let’s just be spontaneous This actually was the most expensive item that I got It was 320 yen Um I don’t know what that equivalates to but I’m assuming uh probably maybe $2 $3 or something like that But um pretty excited about this They also gave me a little spoon to go with it as soon as I checked out Really cool Um yeah So I’m going to go ahead and enjoy my breakfast Thanks for watching again Here in this sandwich area you actually have to be fast There was some chicken sandwiches that I saw that I would love to show you but um as soon as I went to grab them they’re right here There was uh people just grabbing them but they were chicken and egg sandwiches They they were so delicious looking and I knew that if I didn’t grab one it’ll probably be gone And sure enough it was But with so much selection and such cheap prices it’s like what do you do and in my whole experience here so far I I just really want to try things that are new things that I haven’t tried before I mean like this here I don’t think I would do putting broccoli in a sandwich with shrimp I don’t know about that But uh these sandwiches look amazing like always I’ve had plenty of these Mostly the egg ones These egg ones guys are to die for I’ve been trying to eat these for breakfast every day It’s a really small meal but it’s super cheap This one I have not seen before This one here is a tangerine strawberry and pineapple sandwich That’s actually pretty cool That’s really cool So I actually might grab a few of those um a little bit later I’m just a little bit too far right now so they’re going to get bad by the time I get back to the hotel But just so many options You don’t have to go to fancy restaurants when you come here to Tokyo And I’ve learned that you can just come here and grab something like this and take it back to the hotel I mean goodness why not this right here is 406 yen 438 with tax I do believe that’s how you read them So 406 no tax 438 with tax That’s the way that I believe you’re supposed to read those When you do have a passport most stores will let you go tax them so you don’t have to pay for the taxes Look at that That’s a whole meal in itself [Music] Yeah I was just walking around uh first thing in the morning on my last day here in Tokyo and I came across this little restaurant here for breakfast and I cannot believe how cheap it was Number one Number two the quality of the food Check this out [Music] Breakfast is never the same here in Japan Oh my gosh Would you look at this beautiful piece of perfection just to let you know this only costs 290 yen which worth the trip I will tell you my favorite things about this place has to be the drinks the food the cost was amazing I mean honestly we ate so much I didn’t gain a pound because the quality of the food and the quality of the materials is just amazing Here in Tokyo I I probably had the best vacation I’ve ever had Um I’ve been here for about a week I’ve done a lot as you can see in the video I’ve actually made multiple videos I got one of Harry Potter I got one of a room tour I got one of the Japan scenery I mean I had so much content that I had to make three videos If you like to watch them
