Why You Must Visit Naples 🇮🇹 | The Soul of Italy (Napoli) 2025

[Music] heat Heat [Music] [Music] Heat Heat Heat [Music] Heat [Music] It reminds me of Delhi [Music] time [Music] [Music] They say you cry twice
in Naples One when you arrive overwhelmed by the noise the chaos
the rawness of it all And then again when you leave because something
about the city sticks to your soul Well I cried when I had one of the famous
pizzas here but you’ll have to wait before we get there [Music] Apart from pizzas it’s
quite evident that the city loves Maradona You cannot walk 10 minutes in Naples
without seeing Maradona’s face It seems [Music] the street art here is one of the best
that you’ll ever see It’s like an open art gallery The art is so stunning that it’ll make you forget
about everything else even basic traffic safety Because if you’re not careful there’s a good
chance you’ll get hit by a motorbike I’m talking from experience That’s when you remember you’re
not in a quiet museum but in the lively chaotic heart of Naples But hey that’s just a part of
an unforgettable street art experience here Naples is also one of the oldest continuously
inhabited cities which is over 2,800 years old It was originally founded by the Greeks
who named it Neapolis which means new city We’re walking in the historic center which
is a UNESCO world heritage site [Music] This area offers one of the most
authentic expressions of the day-to-day neighbor’s life Full of narrow
lanes hanging laundry and well churches [Music] And we are inside the Domo
de Napoli now and we’re immediately surrounded by centuries of history This
is a cathedral dating 13th century but it stands on even older foundations
including the ancient Roman ruins [Music] Look at the ceiling of the
main name Rich with golden frames Barack paintings Every detail feels alive here [Music] And to the side you’ll find the chapel
of the treasures of San Janeiro [Music] This is where the WS of the saint’s blood are kept
and where the famous liquidation ritual takes place when the dried blood of San Janeiro turns
liquid [Music] The chapel itself is filled with incredible art and one of the most valuable
collections of religious objects in Europe At this point we were tired
and just wanted to grab some things from the supermarket and head to our Airbnb Another special thing about some of these
Airbnbs in Naples is that they’re located at certain locations where the exterior
of the building is a complete wreck but as soon as you go inside you’ll realize that
it’s the complete opposite [Applause] [Music] We’re trying to open the door and just
give you a glimpse of how it looks inside [Music] the quarter It looks so clean and green
And there’s like a big courtyard and a parking space [Music] [Applause] All right
I’ll give you a quick tour of our Airbnb which is called Sophia Lauren No surprises
there It has all necessary amenities soft lighting and it’s quite comfortable
There you can see the Italian bedet The view from here is absolutely stunning You can
see the beautiful skyline the domes of Napoli and one night they were bursting firecrackers
I’ll try to put a video of that [Music] I’m pretty sure that someone somewhere
won a football match and that is why the celebration is happening But let
me know your theory in comments below [Music] Hey Hey Hey [Music] We are walking in this iconic street called
Spaccanapoli The name literally means Naples splitter as it slides through the historic center
and splits the area into two segments Along its length it carries the legacy of the ancient
crack grid of the Neapolis city [Music] All right [Music] And now begins our hunt to find
the best pizza in the world Naples is said to be the birthplace of
pizza So we had to try not one not two not three but many many pizzas here
And so that is what we did [Music] We are inside Lantika Pizzeria de
Mikuel which is the place where uh Julia Robert’s film Eat Pray Love was shot This is one of the top places to have pizza in
Napoli So we had to come here and check it out It’s so interesting that the pizza margarita also represents the Italian flag
in its simple ingredients How is it the one we had earlier Turns out the pizza we
had earlier was better So we have come here again This is actually a small cafe we found near the
streets of our Airbnb We came here on the first day to grab a pizza because we were very hungry
and it was so good So we had to come here again just to make sure that it was not because
of our extreme hunger that we loved it And the food was delicious We tried pasta we tried
pizza coffee everything was perfect here Here and there we tried more pizzas at some small cafes again Can we get this one one
take away Okay One take away Finally on our last day in Naples we
reached the oldest pizzeria in the world This is a place where I had a tear in my eye
because you only dream about coming to such places in your lifetime And the fact that I was here felt
unreal The fact that I was in Italy felt unreal They had an open kitchen You could actually see uh the entire process of making
the pizza in front of you This pizza was worth everything
I felt as if I have been having something else in the name of pizza
all my life That buffalo mozzarella was to die for And the fresh tomato
sauce the fresh basil it was heavenly [Music] This is the port of Napoli If you
want to take a ferry towards the south of Italy or one of the islands
you can take it from here [Music] Naples isn’t polished but
that’s what makes it real Here in the narrow streets spontaneous jazz
and folk sessions spill into the square [Music] [Music] This is a city where strangers on the
streets become partners in dance and celebration without a second thought
In the soft glow of street lamps among voices and laughter Naples reminds you
beauty isn’t always framed by perfection And so life doesn’t have to be perfect
to be beautiful It just has to be real [Music] Yeah Heat [Music] So thank you Naples for your chaos your
kindness your art your music your fire and your heart You’ve given us more than memories
You’ve given us a feeling we’ll never forget
