Driving “GOING TO THE SUN ROAD” in a UK Motorhome :GLACIER National Park ADVENTURE : USA ROAD TRIP
We’re here. Glacier National
Park right by the campsite. What’ you think of that? Wow. Wow. amazing or what? That’s a
national park number three. Four. Oh, there’s loads of mosquitoes. Oh, there’s
mosquitoes. So, we better be quick. Oh, we don’t have we don’t have a campsite, but
we’re going in. Maybe do a walk around to medicine and see if we can bag a cancellation
or something for tonight to stay here. Fingers crossed. Glacier. Come on. Two medicine
entrance. in the dynamic has just passed. You need some drinking water, right?
Yeah. And we’re at Two Medicine Lake in the south of East Glacier National
Park. And we’re going to do a walk around the whole Two Medicine Lake. Yeah.
We don’t know if it’s left or right yet, but we’re going left. I think it’s about 9 miles,
isn’t it? Yeah. Okay. It’s on All Trails. So, all trails. We’ve downloaded it. Let’s go
for it. Looking good so far. There you are. So to be so secret walk with me where the wild things play
through mirrored walls and soft sunray. Hold my hand as the ripples glide. A
lake of wonders where dreams reside. stand. Look at that. Do you fancy climbing that
today? No, I don’t think so. Not today. No, let’s just do a little walk. Huh? Load them one at
a time. Okay, I’ll go first. Make sure it’s okay. Whoa. Whoa. That is proper Indiana Jones stuff. Walk through. That rock just comes That rock just comes
right the out the hills, doesn’t it? Beautiful, isn’t it? It’s not as busy as um Jenny Lake,
I don’t think. No, they’ve been up here. Oh, look. We’re coming out into a medal. This is
going to be lovely. The smells here are lovely, aren’t they? Yeah. Need smell vision.
Wow. Look at that in front of us. Wow. Wo. So lovely. Ridiculously high mountain to our
left. Wa. And then we come along this path. Oh, this is lovely. And then we
open up onto this ledge. Look, there’s a little spot down there where they
launch boats. Maybe we can sit there to have lunch. Okay. Can you see? Yeah. Maybe we can
sit there to have lunch. Little spot. Is there gorgeous? And if you ever quiet,
listen. Quiet. Quiet. Quiet. Silence. A isn’t it? Bees. I can hear
some bees. I can hear the bees. Yeah. Is it nice up there? Wobble wobble. Indiana Jones. Isn’t that it? It’s not easy holding
it with one hand. I struggled on that other bridge. things from walls and soft. Look at that bit there with all the all the snow
on it. Oh, yeah. You feel that’s like a glacier, isn’t it? Yeah. That bit there. Yeah. I wonder
if that’s why you think that’s why they called it the glacier national park. God, that’s why
they must call it that. Oh, you’re glaciers. Oh wow. Look at the valley
there. Keep going. Oh wow. That’s dramatic, isn’t it? And you can see on the other
side there, just over there, that’s where we’ve walked out. We came over
this side and that chap was just saying that um that was closed a few days ago,
that path we’ve just come along. I don’t know if that’s going to show it.
Um, but we just found that. Yay. We’re a bit we’ve just had a a high climb in Walter and
it’s getting quite hot. So, we’re going to stop for a bit and take in the views. Yeah, we’ve
just done 10 miles around to medicine Lake did the whole Southshore and Northshore ramp. Done
that. We’re quite hot and puggled as well. We don’t know where we’re sleeping tonight,
but we’ve done our walk and now I mean, wow. Just just look at that. Let’s see the
ceiling. There’s two messes. The one in the distance. Not this one here. Yeah. Or that
might be lower medicine. It’s quite cool. The rising sun. It’s coming
through. Oh my goodness. right by the campsite. Turn left. Rising sun campsites.
Yeah. At the very beginning of going to the sun road and we have been
told three times that you’ve got to be less than 21 ft and we know that to drive
going to the sun road. Walter is 20 ft. and 10 in. Oh, 10 in. Okay. So, uh 10 20 ft
and 10 in. So, he just about squeezes under, which is great. Um but this looks a very very
nice campsite. There’s not that many people here at the moment. I’m surprised. I thought we were
going to struggle so much to get a spot because it is first come, first- serve basis, but you
can’t reserve here. Yeah. Sorry, Martin. Yeah, you can’t reserve here. And there’s no reception.
You just go down to the register place there and uh fill out a little form, put your money in
an envelope, pop it in the thing, get a little ticket, and uh you’re there. And that’s what we’ve
done with the choice of places actually, don’t we? With a choice of little sight. Yeah. There’s
our boy in our little pit. I put the on and out. Well, the most important thing is get a gin
tonic. Exactly. We’re going to lose the sun shortly. We might lose the sun. Yeah. So, I think
you just pick pin it on there to say we’ve paid so they can see that you’ve got that and then
we’re there. We’re done. But look at it. I just going to show Look, look at the look at the
view. Wow stars get tonight. I was going to try and get some good photography. Have a little
picnic bench there and a nice little fire pit. Wow. Whoa. Fire starter. Whoa. Carcogenic or what? Oh, let’s get packed up. Hey, getting ready. So, I’ll pack up. Put
the chairs away. Table away. Off the trucks. And then we’ll get going, shall we? Yeah. Um,
perfect. And then we just might might find a little walk on the way, maybe. Who knows? Yeah,
we definitely need to stop on the way. I think we stopped quite a lot. It meant to be quite nice
scenic bits. Oh, yeah. Okay. We’re all packed up, ready to go. We are. Steps are up. All the
chairs are away. Ready to rock and roll. All the chairs. You got your pants in. Got my
pants all in. and we’re going to drive the going to the Sun Road and it’s meant to be
one of the most beautiful drives in America. It’s very windy and I think it’s quite steep
to get up to Logan Past which is the highest point at Martan. How high is it? Uh 6,500. So
Ranger told us last night he did. So we are going to climb about 2,000 ft in a minute.
Yeah. Come on, Walter. Get yourself ready. Oh, there you can walk up there. Thank you. It’s so crazy, isn’t it? Heat. Heat. Right, let’s get parked up and we’re
going to take a walk to the hidden lake, one of the most popular trails. Oh, it almost was an adventure. If you would have brought it, we wouldn’t
have seen anything probably. Yeah, it’s you’ve got to like go out and like
that’s what you’re doing is taking pictures. Oh, we are breathing heavy. We are five. Is it
6 and a half thousand ft there? Yeah. 6 and a half th000 ft. So, it’s pretty high. It’s
beautiful, isn’t it? Yeah. Shame. There’s a lot of people here. Yeah. Ah, but you
definitely get a a feel of landscape. There’s been people up there, right?
Is that not Is that not footprints? No, it’s not. It’s just a mountain. You okay? I’m exhausted. Could be
so high. That’s my excuse. It’s closed because it was closed because
all it was all impossible. Look at this. See? Yeah. You would want
to slide down there in a hurry. coming this way. I think we’re coming to the end of it now.
End of the overlook, I think. Yeah. up to Hidden Lake because we can see a whole bunch
of people. Mhm. And the the end of the walk is actually closed down to this down to the
hidden lake because there’s been bear activity the middle of last month and it’s still closed.
So, they must wait till the bear’s gone. Wow, look at the lake. But the views are incredible.
I will just turn you around. Have a look at this. And that’s what we came down to see. What you think of that? Wow. That’s
not bad, eh? That’s cool. Wow. Look how far we’ve come down from. Look
at the view. It’s lovely. Great. Right, let’s get back. Do the rest of
the go into the sun road now. Yay. Oh, that was tight. You go around the
corner and you can just see down the valley. I love the way that that river just
kind of sings down through the river. That’s cool. Hold on. Is that Is that Is that where we’re going or is that where we came
from? There’s a road down there. Wow. Look at this. There’s a road right down the bottom there and
people parked. Can you see that? Yeah. You’ll see on the camera when we stop. Like right down
there as well. Oh yeah, that road’s there. I don’t know if that’s where we’re going. Oh my word.
Yeah, maybe. I just got into that road. Yeah. Bird woman. Oh, this was a good hike as well.
Oh, is it? Yeah. bit. Not sure where we depart. Wa got these. What am I? It’s really close. M.
You’re doing so good driving. I’d be freaking out. Can I just adjust that a little bit because
there’s nothing coming. Oh, yeah. Sure. Maybe. I don’t how many. We should have
sorted out how many miles we’re coming down for cuz this is a
long long coast down, isn’t it? I think they overhang. I think these rocks do
overhang a bit and if I did if I did drift in, I wonder if I could clip one of the rocks. Mhm.
So, if something’s coming on the other side that’s um like too far over as well and
you makes you move, you know. I wonder if they do ever get the um the
uh you know the boat gets gets stuck trails peak 96 kind of life we lead. Just driving
back down from the going to the Sun Road near Lake McDonald. We’ve just seen
a little bit of a a beach, Pebble Beach, and we’re going to go in. Right. Me
and me me and my me and my woman here are deciding after our little hike up to
um Hidden Lake to go into this McDonald. You’re in. You’re in. I’m really
impressed. How cold. Is it cold in places? Oh well, this is a sleeping glacier west
entrance. Short and sweet, but brilliant. We love the glacier national park. It is now 20 7 at
night, which is a long day for us. Still going to run late stay and we still got to park up and eat
and drink. Okay, while we find somewhere to park, we’re going to leave you there this week, guys.

Hi guys. What amazing views and for me the best video so far. The stars must have been amazing at night. Did you take any photos. How was Walter on his climb up the mountain? You did well to walk all the miles around the lake. Can it get any better than this one. I am on standby to still carry your bags. What’s the price of a bottle of gin in the USA. Booze in Portugal is cheap. It’s a bit like 1984. Give people cheap booze and fags and you down have problems 😂

Your video is really well made! I just think the title could be stronger to help it reach more viewers. Here's a fresh version I came up with, fully optimized:
➡ Driving Going-to-the-Sun Road in a UK RV | Epic Glacier Park Adventure
This new title places the main keyword “Going-to-the-Sun Road” within the first 50 characters, keeps the tone natural and click-friendly (not clickbait), and ends with a phrase that builds curiosity. It gives viewers a reason to click—wondering what makes the adventure so epic.
If this helps, happy to share more ideas anytime.
