Untouched & Abandoned Spanish Time Capsule House (Never discovered before)
Today, we’re in the north of Spain going off-grid to find
abandoned homes no one’s ever documented. Without any tips or locations on this day,
this is going to be real exploration. Hoping to be the first to uncover what’s
been left behind. So, what’s up, guys? It’s another day in beautiful Spain. I’m just going to show you this house real quickly. We were just doing checks,
trying to make some new discoveries… and we were on the road to the next check
and we saw a very decrepit abandoned house. A beautiful Indiano house, like the “Indianos”,
after the fall of the Spanish Empire… they all came here from South America. And those people generated a lot of wealth
and fortune in their time. And they’ve all built those homes. And many of those homes, sadly enough, do
end up being abandoned. And they’re all, like, very historical homes,
mostly of the late 19th century. But you can clearly tell… how much decay and how much time has
passed in this place ever since. The stairwell has completely collapsed. Like, we cannot even go up this floor. We already had to go through this over here. And yeah, you can tell that it’s quite dodgy. Like, the stairs, all the wood is rotten. It’s pretty much falling apart… but we have one really beautiful room
on this floor. We just took some pictures of it. I just want to show you this to just give you
a little bit of the experience… we have on an urbex day, an exploration day like this. The roots are all growing inside over here. And this is, in fact, another bedroom… which is in a very bad state of disrepair. I’m definitely not going to stand there. And also, the roof above it is just pretty
much roofless, actually. There is no roof anymore. A coat rack over here. I think that this is leading to the
outside, but I just want to be sure. Okay, let’s see. Yeah, that’s the outside. I just wanted to be sure we don’t miss anything because… the room that’s over there is actually really cool. It’s a very typical Spanish room with some
really cool architecture and wonderful decay. What’s up, Okos? — Yoo. — So, does this thing actually over here
have a name in Spanish? — I don’t think so. I think it’s just an architectural element. But I don’t know the name. — Okay. — I believe it doesn’t have a name, but… I’m not an expert, so, haha. — We’re not historians, but we definitely love history. — Yeah, of course. But it’s very beautiful. — Look at this. There’s even this little golden elephant statue. So, we’re probably going to name this place like
“Casa dos Elefantos” or something, hahaha. — “Del Elefante”, only one. — “Casa de Elefante”? — “Del Elefante”. — Del Elefante. You see, like, I’m always learning new stuff. — You’re very Spanish, right now. — “Casa del Elefante”. — Casa del Elefante, yeah. — Que rico! (that’s lovely) We’ve still got some little ornaments over here. Let’s see, I will show it to you with my flashlight. I really really love this part. It’s super unique. And then, we have a bed that’s like… completely degraded. The floor has huge holes. In a couple of years, this bed will just be
leveled with the ground… fall down, and
this floor will not be explorable anymore. It will not even exist anymore. It will be history forever. It’s crazy to see the natural degradation
of the mattress. Wow, you can also clearly see all the cobwebs. Look at this, guys. We’ve got a very old picture over here. It looks like they’re working in a kitchen
or something. I really like this place. Definitely not a bad first find for a
roadside find. We did check some other places already, but yeah,
they were just empty or ruins or we couldn’t get in. Let’s head to the next one right now. I’ll see you there! So, guys, again we were on our way to a place and the north of Spain is absolutely
unbelievable. We saw another historical building, another historical structure
and decided to give it a go and check it out. It was a little climb to get in, but yeah,
that’s of course the explorer’s drill. And we currently found this incredible room. Actually, the palace is mostly empty, but
this room is entirely preserved in time. So, I’m just going to take a little bit of
time to show you this beauty. I think this was the dining room, right? Because over here you have this little door. And it’s connected to the kitchen. — Like, to serve, yeah, exactly. — Imagine that back in the days, like, servants would be
cooking the meals for them in the kitchen here. It’s crazy. And then they would put the plates here. And maybe even a waiter would put the
dishes on the table for the… like, yeah, generous people that lived here. It was actually a doctor that lived here. We found some medical equipment too. Yeah, it’s a very historical structure. You can see a very old painting over here
as well. Of course, Holy Mary. I really love this. It’s, again, typical Spanish, but I’ve
also seen it in Portugal. It’s beautiful. A lot of books. — It also has a French touch. Yeah, the use of wallpaper is indeed very
French, but this is incredible. The items are still standing there as well. The ornaments. This was probably part of a fake skeleton
that he had to study anatomy and stuff. There’s one thing I really want to show
you and that’s actually the newspaper. I’ve just peeked through it. It’s from the year 1911. It’s just incredible to see how much has changed. November 1911. It’s from Madrid. It’s amazing to see how the people dressed
back in the day. Oh, wow. Wow, this car. Look how the people dressed, like… One thing that I learned is that back in those days,
they actually didn’t have any clothing sizes. So, everything was hand-tailored for the people. And it was around the 1950s and 1960s that they decided
to measure around 25,000 people in Italy. And that’s actually when clothing sizes were born. A very big development in the clothing industry. But back in those days, everything was
handmade for, yeah, the people. Especially the richer people who had the
very elegant suits and stuff. Incredible, guys. Yeah, that’s just something I want to show you. There are also a lot of old diplomas on the walls. I just don’t want to get too much in detail
about that because, yeah… we, of course, want to keep this place preserved
as beautiful as it is, right? Right, Okos? — Of course, always. Always, so, yeah, that pretty much wraps it up
again for this one. And we see you at another one probably
quite soon. Ciao! So, guys, finally, there we are. We found already two amazing places. I took you with me through the experience
of what we go through… but right now, I’m in a place that I definitely want to do
an entire tour in and out. This is a beautiful old home in the north of Spain. Actually, it used to be the home of Maria Teresa… the woman that last lived here and
occupied this wonderful home. It’s very traditional, has been at least
abandoned for a decade. Wonderful staircase, wonderful stone architecture. All in all, the perfect place for another
video of the Spain series. Let’s just start, and yeah… Enjoy watching another wonderful exploration
of those magical abandoned Spanish homes. Let’s do it! You can clearly see that this place has
been abandoned for ages. We’re starting this off in the main hallway, and if you already
look to the ground, there are some wonderful tiles. Wonderful stones on the walls. We’re going to find a lot of antiques and
beautiful items in this place. I’m really excited for it. First of all, we’ve got a wonderful old
wooden chair over here. This little lantern over here. I believe that this was actually from some kind of mill. At least, definitely something artisanal
where they used it for. I think this used to be a part of a coat rack. Look at all the details. Angels are carved in the structure. The statue over here. Wow. This little scarf is hanging up here. I think it’s hand-embroidered. Maybe by Maria Teresa herself. Like, I’m holding my camera straight right now. You can clearly see how skewed the staircase is. In a few years, it will just collapse. It’s wonderful to see how untouched this place is. Only nature has touched this place. Cobwebs everywhere between it. Like, you can clearly tell… that not anybody has been inside anymore
and has touched the items within. There are a lot of envelopes laying in
front of the door as well. Written and sent to Maria Teresa. But eventually, they were never opened anymore
when this dearest woman actually passed away. And the home has been sitting in silence ever since. We’ve still got some keys hanging up here. Beautiful old keys. This actually goes down to a basement, but… the staircase has collapsed,
so we cannot go there anymore. But I can see some old bottles of wine. Beautiful flooring again with those
wonderful tiles. This looks like a side kitchen. Very basic, actually, with this tiny sink over here. Have a look how untouched it is. Some of the planks are almost falling,
but all the glasses are still standing on the shelves. It’s such a wonderful sight. We’ve got a molding over there on the ceiling. This is, again, one of those things where I think
there used to be holy water inside or maybe they burned something. Whoa, what is this?! It’s like a kind of a cellar. Oh, guys, this was the kitchen! That’s crazy! This oven is so old. On top used to be the furnace. This used to lead to the chimney. You can just see that nature is all creeping inside. Wow, the floor is in a bad state over here. Whoa, guys! I’m not too sure… this is not a billiards
table, but what is it? It is another game. I’ve never seen it before. But there are holes in the table. I think they would play with balls and sticks.
A little bit like Snooker and billiards. I think this game is pretty old, honestly. There’s even a date there on that newspaper. 1958. But yeah, I gotta be very careful
because there are holes in the ground and I don’t want to fall to the basement level. Oh my gosh! Guys, this used to be like a local store. Have a look at this. Like, decades and decades ago, maybe in
the 60s and 70s… This used to be a store, maybe even also a bar… where the people would come for a drink
and buy some local groceries. What a surprise! There’s even still food over here in those tins. I’m wondering if it has an expiration date. Pineapple juice. Oh, look how truly vintage-looking those
tins and cans are. This used to be pineapple juice as well. This is still in its packaging. Absolutely unbelievable. I did not even know that this was here. This part. That is honestly amazing. It reminds me a bit of a home in Portugal
that we did 2 years ago. Oh, I’m not going to walk here. I wanted to get a little bit closer to the calendar but… Let’s see if I can maybe approach it from
this side. Let’s see… That’s sad, only the front page
of the calendar is left. So, we won’t know the last date,
unfortunately. Alright, I think we saw everything on this level. Let’s head upstairs because the rooms over
there are even more wonderful. The cobwebs are crazy. There are honestly a lot of cobwebs. Alright, before going to the living room, let’s first
explore a little bit of this area with the bedrooms. Have a look at this. It’s incredible. Just have a look at all those vines
growing inside. Nature is so strong. And in the absence of human mankind,
this is the consequence. Probably because of the wind blowing inside through the window,
the lamp has just fallen down. We’ve still got a rosary hanging here. A religious cross right above it. And what’s also beautiful to see, is the fact that… they actually used to stuff pillows
back in those days with hay. It’s very antique. That’s how you can actually distinguish
proper antique furniture. Like from the 60s, 70s, if not older. I would actually be gobsmacked if there
are still clothes inside. Woah, the pillows are still there,
and the sheets. A little ink pot as well. Maybe the mirror door…? Oh my gosh, guys, I’m the first person to
open this in years. Woah, nothing there at least. We’ve still got some sheets and linen over here. Then, also, a little walk-in closet with a
private bathroom and a little bathtub. Wow, look at this. It looks like we’ve got another room over here. We’ve got Catu over there. — Hey! — Catu sin mas! — Catu sin mas. — He’s actually streaming right now, I
think, on Twitch, right? — It’s streaming, yes. — Yeah, I will link your Twitch. Maybe people like to see it, you know. It’s pretty cool that you’re doing these
live explorations. — In real life. — Yeah, haha. The people at least don’t have to wait,
like my videos. They already get to see it. It’s a wonderful bedroom. A carpet on the ground. Again, vines are growing inside. I love the simplicity of the bedrooms, actually. Well, another room on the side here. Still, a bed frame. Parts of a bed, and yeah,
we have another bedroom right over here. There’s not that much left of it. Honestly, my favorite room… I think I’m going to save it for last, honestly. You will at least have a reason to keep
watching the video. Because there’s definitely a beautiful
surprise in this home. We always try to look for special places
that not many people have explored. Just the peeling paint over here is incredible. It’s all littering the floor and those
very old-looking magazines on the ground. Wow! What is the date? 1983. Another one. 1983. The same goes for this one. How cute is this? Look at all the porcelain mugs still
hanging on those little hooks. Wow. Well, it seems that this is empty. I think this is leading to a toilet, but
oh my gosh! The entire ceiling has just fallen down. That’s what I would call an open-air toilet. At least, proper ventilation. And then, we have the gallery over here. The “galería”. It’s not like a typical gallery. It’s not like it’s fully glass, but yeah,
I think I can justify calling this a gallery. A rocking chair. That’s definitely something for
the “urbex-bingo”: rocking chairs. A piano…? Hmm… Let’s see if there’s a piano inside. I’m not going to say anything. What is this tile over here? “Triana”. Wow. “Sevilla”. Damn, look at those books. Wow! Wow, guys! “Historia de España”. History of Spain. Guys, what year would this book be from? The first pages are actually ripped out. Those are genuinely some very… Very old books. As you can see, some of the pages are
sadly missing. A wonderful cabinet. And a statue. I have to hide a little bit because there
are people watching us. They saw us entering this place and…
I don’t know… I think they just think we’re a little bit
suspicious or something. But obviously, we’re not here to do any harm… to this wonderful historical place
that’s been so well-kept in time. Wow. I love this wardrobe… the vanity, but especially the bed. I think it’s so unique, like… how it’s made. I’ve never seen a bed in this shape, I believe. So, what they often say is last best, and
I definitely tried to keep the best for last, like… There is an attic, but I definitely don’t want to go up there since
it just doesn’t look very safe and sturdy. But over here is the wonderful living room. I think in Spain they call this the “salón”. And look at it, guys! Beautifully frozen in time. We’ve got an upright piano over here. Unfortunately, we can not open it up… but it’s beautiful. Look at the details. Flutes or something on it. The candles really remind me of
French upright pianos we’ve found. And look at these old frames with photos. The family that lived here. Maybe this was the mother of Maria Teresa. The picture was made in Madrid in 1916. It looks like this was a holy communion. The chairs are still here and the table. We’ve also got this uniquely painted, maybe
even hand-painted face. And I love this portrait with the gilded frame. Wow! Over here, there’s also still a wonderful
lamp hanging. A picture of a boy that was probably
the grandson of Maria Teresa that grew older, eventually. This is the room that I’ve just shown you. The bedroom where we actually walked past by. And then, last but not least, we’ve got one
other wonderful bedroom over here. A vanity. And look at those wonderful wooden beds again. The Spanish are so good at it. And the Portuguese as well. Definitely my favorite wooden furniture. They are just so good at their crafts with
woodwork and everything. Something that you see a lot… in the Spanish homes, especially over here
up north… is actually also the “galería”. Like, a little balcony in front of the home. And also this home does have one. I love it. It’s so cozy. But it gets very hot in summertime, so
they often put up (open) the windows, then. So, that was it for another wonderful Spanish home. I wish I could actually find more on
the personal story of this place… but maybe it’s also sometimes good if we don’t find it
and we just respect the privacy as much of Maria Teresa and her lovely family that
once resided in this home. That wraps it up for this exploration, guys. I hope you enjoyed it. Also, seeing the first parts of today… how we were checking places,
trying to discover a little hidden gem… and I think this beautiful time-capsule home
definitely was one. So, if you enjoyed it, all I ask you for is: smash that thumbs-up button, subscribe to the channel right down below, leave a little comment down below. If you want to support, there’s a little link to

Deep in the quiet hills of northern Spain, we discovered something truly rare — a traditional abandoned home left completely untouched. 🇪🇸
No one had ever documented this place before. No pin on a map, no tips, no rumors. We were the first to step inside.
What we found was nothing short of extraordinary: a fully preserved Spanish time capsule, frozen in silence. From hay-stuffed pillows to rotting prayer books, golden elephant statues to a mysterious underground tavern, everything was left exactly as it was the day life stopped. 🏚️
Inside, we uncover:
🕯️ A decaying yet elegant Indiano-style interior
📖 Newspapers from 1911 and forgotten family portraits
🎹 An upright piano, still intact in the old salón
🪞 Hand-carved furniture and original bedframes
🍍 Vintage 1950s groceries in a hidden basement bar
🛏️ A bedroom that still feels lived in — after decades of abandonment
A forgotten home.
A family lost to time.
And a place no one else had ever explored… until now.
📅 Next week on Explomo: We leave Spain for a moment to explore a wonderful home in Belgium — a mansion once owned by missionary Jules, whose extraordinary life left a legacy etched into every wall.

In some rooms you found very beautiful antique furniture with exquisite wood carvings. Especially that living room with the upright piano was really wonderful.

Such a shame this Beautiful Mansion is in decay 😢 We 😢 love it thank you.
As always, love your videos guys!!! Miss being in the premiere tho! ❤❤❤❤
What's under the table isn't for holy water; it's a brazier. Coal was placed inside for heating. It's very typical in Spain; they're still used, but they're electric. Congratulations on your work! 👏
Great video and story, interesting pleases.!
