Photography Trip in Sardinia, Italy | 4-Day Beach Trip to Sardinia | with underwater view!

Hello to everyone, welcome and welcome back to my channel. In this video, I’ll take you along with me to one of the most fascinating islands in Europe for 4 days. Enjoy beautiful fine-pebble beaches, snorkeling in crystal clear turquoise waters, and an island-hopping trip on a sailing boat. And this is the stunning Sardinia, Italy. Let’s start with a quick look at Sardinia’s geography. In Italy, it’s called Sardegna. Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, located west of mainland Italy and just south north of Corsica, covering around 24,000 square kilometers. There are two airports on the island that have direct flight from Zurich. This time, I fly directly from Zurich to Obia Airport, which takes about 1 hour and 35 minutes. Good morning from Sardinia everyone. Now I’m in Sardinia since last night. So last night was quite a late flight I would say, like 6 pm and we reached here at midnight, because the queue on rental car was so long. And I drove the wrong way and my internet didn’t want to work and so on. But then we still managed to find a hotel at the end. So yes, today is going to be beach day. And I hope I’m gonna have a nice snorkeling time and enjoy the time here. So yeah, see you later. We begin the day with a short walk along the golden sand beach directly in front of the hotel. Since I’m here with my mom, her friends and my youngest sister, we have to stay at the beach club hotel. Honestly, it’s not my favorite kind of place to stay at all. But just for 4 night is fine. After breakfast, I want to see flamingos. So we drive to Stagno di Càbras, a vast coastal lagoon in western Sardinia, covering about 2,200 hectares. It’s an important wetland habitat for birds like flamingos and herons. Unfortunately, there are no flamingos today. So we head instead to Spiaggia di Mari Ermi. And here we are. Spiaggia di Mari Ermi is a gorgeous beach on the Sardinian’s west coast. It’s famous for its shore of tiny, smooth quartz pebbles, often compared to grain of rice, which give the water striking turquoise color. The beach is long and wide, perfect for swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing. Although there are many people here, but the beach is so long that there’s still plenty of space to sit. Later in the evening, we have dinner in the heart of Orosei, close to our hotel. After a short walk from the parking lot, we arrive at the restaurant. I order a delicious sardine lasagna and a mix seafood plate. Cats and kittens are everywhere here. So if you are cat lovers, you definitely gonna love here. After dinner, we head back and that’s it for today. Today, we are visiting one of the most beautiful beaches on Sardinia’s eastern coast, Spiaggia di Sa Curcurica. What makes this place unique is hidden behind the backdrop of pine forest and these juniper trees. The gorgeous seawater canal, which connects the lagoon to the sea, makes it perfect for kayaking, paddling, and of course, swimming from the sea to the lagoon. The beach here is known for its fine gray sand and crystal clear shallow turquoise water. And now, it’s snorkeling time. I absolutely love clear water like this. It makes the experience so much more enjoyable. There are lots of fish and all the marine life, but I just can’t seem to capture them on camera. After spending hours at the beach, we head back and go out for dinner at a restaurant near the hotel. I ordered pasta and grilled fish. And once again, there are so many adorable kittens around. Today I’m going on a sailing trip with my mom’s friends, so we drive for around 1 hour and 10 minutes and arrive at the San Paolo port to wait for boarding. And first stop is Isola Tavolara! It’s a dramatic limestone island off Sardinia’s northeast coast, about 5 km long and 1 km wide. I take a short swim, then it’s time for an aperitivo. After that, we head to Spiaggia di Capo Coda Cavallo. There are so many yachts and boats around, yet the water is still remain crystal clear. After an hour on the beach, we return to the boat for lunch, pasta and lots of prosecco. Later, we stop at Isola Molara. The water here is unreal, so clear and incredibly inviting to swim. We spend about 7 amazing hours on this sailing trip before heading back. Afterward, I feel a lot seasick, so everything still feels like it’s swaying side to side. So after dinner, I just say goodnight to everyone and rest. Today is the last day of my Sardinia trip, so we’re heading to Spiaggia del Moletto. A white sand dune beach with beautiful scenery along the way. The beach is covered in a thick layer of dead Pasadonia seagrass which makes it a little unpleasant to walk into the water. While it may look like seaweed trash, but it actually protects the coastline and supports biodiversity. The water here is really clear, with large underwater rocks and more dead sea grass. I’m not sure if it’s normal or a result of rising water temperatures. Probably both. I love this striking rock formation that looks like an underwater trail. It’s so beautiful. Next, we head to another beach nearby, part of nature reserve Oasi Biderosa. Visitor numbers are limited daily, keeping the area peaceful and unspoiled. With its fine white sand and turquoise water, it’s perfect for swimming, snorkeling and simply relaxing in a pristine setting. If you’re a nature and marine lover, Sardinia is a must-visit. Though the island is large, it offers a wide variety of unique beaches, natural landscapes, and cultural experiences for visitors to enjoy I could easily spend an entire week here, as there are so many things to see and do. After that, it’s time for me to head back, pack up, check out and go to the airport. The flight is delayed, so I quickly grab my dinner before hopping on the plane. And that’s it for this video guys.
