Temple Island history: Fawley Temple
The ornamental folly Temple Island was designed by the English architect James Wyatt in the 18th Century. It was commissioned by the Freeman Family and constructed in 1771.

Located on the River Thames, Temple Island in Berkshire can only be reached by boat and is often used for weddings. They are both surrounded by beautiful Chilterns scenery.
