So, I’ve gone for the Iskandere kebab, which has got bular rice, some strained yogurt, some donor meat, iskandere sauce, a grilled pepper, grilled tomato, grilled onion, and it looks like some croutons or something. Yeah, it might be cheese. I’ll let you know. Hello, Mrs. Tou. Hello. What have you got, Mrs. Tooth? A ja wrap. A jiva wrap. Mhm. Um, so you’ve got donat in there as well. And what else was in there? Peppers, tomatoes. Can’t remember. But it comes with chips and onion rings. Chips and onion rings. Can’t go wrong with that. You know, we don’t film ourselves eating people. So, we are going to munch this and we’ll come back and see what it’s like. [Music] All right. This right here, it’s called gobble gobble turkey wobble. You’re going to want to be wobbling right now. So you had the ja wrap. What? You had chips in it as well, didn’t you? Yeah, there was chips inside it as well as a basket of chips and onion rings. Yeah. Yeah. The sauce was very spicy, but it was really nice. Um and then I had cheesecake. A huge portion after you asked. Yeah. And I did ask I did say is it really is it small or is it big? Cuz if it was big, I I didn’t want it. So, is it a small portion? He said yes, but it wasn’t really small. So, I had to share it with Steve. Mr. I had to share it with two. So, it wasn’t so much sharing it as um he gave me a very small Oh, no. That sounds a bit rude. He gave me a very small portion. Um but I think he looked at me and went, “Well, you’re not having no no cake, fatty.” And then looked at Mrs. Tooth for when you need a bit of beefing up, love. So, yeah. So, went there like that. Anyway, it didn’t work out because I just ate what she left. So, you didn’t share it with me at all. I just cleaned your plate for you so that you didn’t look I didn’t want to be wasting it. Exactly that. Exactly that. Um, so I did try a bit of Mrs. Tou’s kebab wrap. The only reason I went for my one cuz it had a bit of bread rather than the wrap and I I fancied something a bit more carby. Um, Mrs. toast was a lot spicier and really nice, but mine the sauce was absolutely out of this world. Lovely. Yeah. And the meat was was just to die for. And it was more like I don’t know, certainly around where we live down the southeast. If you get an Adana kebab down there, normally it’ll come with a load of chili sauce and like the the bit of bread all cut up into little cubes. That’s what this was. And if you order a danakab over here, you basically get a cofter on top of a whole piece of p. So yeah, mate, I can’t knock my food here. And like I said before, if you follow us, you know what a fussy old so and so I am. And I never have done a meat at home because I don’t like it. No. I thought I’d try it here. It was It was lovely. Yeah, it was. It It was It tasted like proper meat, didn’t it? It didn’t taste like that elephant leg stuff. You get down um whatever stab roses. Yeah, whatever. Back street kebab bar. But no, I I don’t eat it cuz it’s horrible. No, you don’t. Um I’ll get it occasionally, but I like it all crispy and that. Well, this was crispy, but it tasted like proper meat and the sauce just had so much flavor. Did I say that already? Probably. We are so impressed with the food here. We’ve Hello. This is S. Who are we talking with? We are talking with the Wales. Hello YouTube. Hello YouTube. Yuk. I’m from Yorkshire. He was a fantastic waiter. He was I am I am the best waiter in the world. But he is the best waiter. You want massage? No. No. I’m Malaysian. I can do massage. Yeah. No. No. I’m getting a tire massage later. I think I think my wife needs a massage. No. I’ve just had a massage. It’s for free for men. 5 seconds for ladies. 15 seconds. I’ll call last 5 seconds. Every 5 minutes 5. [Laughter] Oh, thank you. She’s so happy. Look, I am so happy. He makes a change. Thank you. You’re welcome. So, yeah, the food here has been well well impressive. Give Serge a shout out. That’s not his name. Um, Mrs. We named him that. No, you named him that Mrs. T. Okay. You don’t need to say why. That’s just it. Is that right? Yeah. This is the nickname. His name’s Thirds. That’s it. Okay. Um, hit me up in the DMs and I’ll tell you why she called it that. Anyway, so look, we, you know, we we’ve done Sandals in the past. Um, Sandals is fantastic. the best buffet you’re going to get, but you’re also going to pay a good few grand more for it. Now, Mrs. Tooth, Mrs. S wasn’t smoking, but she looks like she was in Ferris Buer’s day off, didn’t she? So, foods just generally Oh, no. This is This is fantastic as well. So yeah, it’s on par with Sandals, I’d say. Yeah, we’ve done others, haven’t we? Like Kate Verdie and that and the buffet food. We’ve been to Kate Verie a couple of times, haven’t we? The food is terrible. We just put up with it for the beach cuz the beach is gorgeous. Um but now coming here, I wouldn’t go to Kate Bie again unless they up their gear, up their games rather, um with a feed. And this was this was cheaper than going to Kate Bie. Yeah, this this has been fantastic. The staff have been wonderful. The food is so nice. So nice. And there’s so much to choose from. And then and people, when have you seen one of my holiday videos where I don’t moan? I can’t moan. There’s nothing to moan about. It is absolutely tiptop. It’s the first time I’ve been on holiday and two fake moing. Um, look at me. Look at me. I’m speechless. I’m lost for words. When am I ever lost for words? Especially when I’m having a good old grumble about something and I’ve got nothing to have a good old grumble about. Mrs. Tooth, what have you done wrong? Well, I need to find something cuz I got to moan about something cuz I can’t moan about the hotel. I can’t about the holiday. I can’t moan about food. Can’t moan about drink. Can’t moan about. Can’t moan about the beach. It’s got to be you, darling. I don’t think so. Well, I’m going for a Thai massage in a bit, people. So, we’ll see. I think I will. I can’t wait. But I don’t think it’s going to be like my typical grumble moan. I think it’s going to be a moan and bone on the way home. I’m going to be like that. Mrs. T had a massage this morning. And I just had the massage from third. It was lovely. Yeah. So you’ve had two massages today. I have. But no, it was really really relaxing. It was lovely. I had the what did I have? The relaxation and refreshing and relaxation massage. Yeah. Really nice. And although Mrs. S only had a quick one off of Serge, I didn’t fancy getting a quickie off of him. So, what did you say you’ve got, Mrs. Tooth? Stuffed cabbage. And it better be as nice as my mom and my men. I’ve never even heard of stuffed cabbage. Oh, it’s lovely. I don’t know whether it is. What’s What’s it stuffed with? Oh, I meant to get some broccoli. I forgot. With um meats and rice and bits. [Music] It’s nice. There’s nothing wrong with it, but it’s not your mom or your n. Yeah. Yeah. No. Well, that’s fair enough. But it’s very nice. Good. There is so much food up there. I’m a little bit shocked. So, I’m going to wander you around a little bit. Okay. Okay. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] So, I’ve got to be honest with you folks. So far, I am quietly impressed. I know it’s only day one. But the just the range of food at dinner was phenomenal. The kebab meat that I had was tender. It was really tasty. So when we get down to these cabanas, you get that massive fruit plate just there and some crisps. And there’s a bottle of procco which Mrs. Tooth is digging into. Strawberry. Mrs. Tooth, what have you got? Take your Greek salad. Take your stuff off of it. A clean film. Yes. Show people you can see through clean. You can, but you got loads of reflections on it, Mr. No. sake, woman. So, she tells me not to swear. Then she makes me sweat. So, you got Greek salad. And actually, cuz it was so nice yesterday cuz I did try Mrs. Tooths, I have gone with the JA wrap cuz that was proper spicy people. Right, we’re going to tuck in and we’ll let you know in a minute. How was your lunch, Mrs. tooth. Really nice and refreshing. And you had the Greek salad. I had the jiva wrap. That was well spicy. You had it yesterday, didn’t you? Yeah. Really nice. So, as we look out, folks, I can think of worse places to eat me lunch. Right folks, so me and Mrs. too far off to the roof tonight. It’s one of the alakart restaurants here. There are actually three alakart restaurants on site. So you’ve got the roof upstairs there and below it I believe is paprika and then over in the middle of the lagoon is I can’t remember bubon bomb bomb bomb life could be a dream um so bubon is Asian fusion paprika is European and the roof is Turkish and I am well looking forward to this people um folks from that group that we’re on on Facebook who come here time and time again say that this is one of the best Turkish restaurants in the area. So we are hoping that it lives up to its reputation and recommendation and recommendation. Right. Bit of no Mrs. Tooth. Yeah. We just sat down and we just got this stuff bought over to the table as first starter before we go for the second starter. And in the main we won’t be having a second starter. People tell you. Let me show you what we got on here. Well, we haven’t got Mrs. Tooth on the menu. We’ve got cheese. We’ve got sauces. We’ve got what looks like palenta. We’ve got some pickles. We got some very spicy stuff over there. Vine leaves. Vine leaves. We’ve got pickled beetroot. We got vegetables and some bread on the side. Yeah. By show Mrs. Tooth. What’ you make of that, Mrs. Tooth? Oh, it was gorgeous. Really nice. Yeah. Yeah. Very impressed. I even ate green things, people. Green things. cuz I don’t eat green beans and I hate green things and they were vinegary and spicy and I made them leave me the chili sauce to go with my kebab. Right, I’ll show you the mains when they get here. Right. Sorry you beautiful people. We started tucking in without showing you. So, I’ve got the Adana kebab which looks stunning. Mrs. Tooth has got herself lamb shank. A lamb shank. And we got a little mixed salad thing going and a salad. Yep. Right. Here we go. Crack on. So, you had the lamb shang, didn’t you? Yeah. How How was it? Cuz it looked It looked a bit insipped when it came out. Yeah, it did. It looked He brought it over and I thought it looks like so pale and anemic and Yeah, anemic. That’s a good word for it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it did. But oh my god, it was so nice. So nice. Don’t ask me what the starters were, but they just bought them over and I loved every single dish. Really, really good. It It was nice cuz it almost felt like we’re showcasing our national food and like it’s it’s I’ve never had Turkish food like that. Nor have I. And I I been to Turkish restaurants. Yeah. Well, and we both been to Turkey before, but years and years ago. But that is the best food I’ve ever had here. The best food. I I don’t mean in this resort. I mean in Turkey. In Turkey. Yeah. Um what was the the little like finely chopped salad thing like? cuz I I was expecting that to be more like a Pday, but Yeah. No, no, it’s really nice. Or pi or however you say it. It went really well with my vular rice. Oh, yeah. The bular rice. Yeah. Bulgar wheat or whatever it is. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Bular wheat. Bulgar rice. Whatever. Yeah. Um really really good. Yeah. No, but those those starters were good. And he made you have a shot at the end, didn’t he? Well, he didn’t make me. Oh. Oh, yes, he did. No, he didn’t. He He didn’t make me. He asked if I wanted a Bailey’s. I don’t drink it. He asked if I wanted, I don’t know, all sorts. He went through about 10 different drinks. I’m like, “No, thank you. No thank you. I don’t drink those.” And then I felt really rude. So then he went a Jagger. And I went, “Yeah, okay.” I went, “But not a bomb cuz I don’t do Red Bull.” So yeah, I just thought cough medicine. I can do that. And yeah, so I did. Yeah. So I then had the Adana kebab. I I also I really really really like the starters. There was it was so tasty. And I actually kept the uh the chili sauce um to go with me kebab, but I had the adana. So I don’t know if you’ve seen in the UK that you get like a Dana kebab and then you get kofa. So it’s the same meat. It’s the kofa meat, but it’s served like on top of the um the the bread. And normally with an Adana in the UK, you would get it done in a chili sauce with a few dollops of yogurt and that sort of thing. So it wasn’t like that. It was more like a kofa, but just on top of the bread. And I had the bular rice as well. Um, and a charred onion and charred pepper pickle thing, charred tomato. Um, but I only ate the the the bread and the meat. That that was all I wanted. And and dumped a load of that chili sauce on it. the the meat was so tender and it was very similar to what I had last night in the buffet here. The difference being I guess cuz they cooked it fresh for you. It was like really really hot. Um, so yeah, I I would definitely I definitely recommend that if you if you’re coming over here to Jiva Beach Resort and everyone on the um Ajiva Resort uh Fetier by Alan and Kerry Facebook group really really pushed that one as well and I can see why we we weren’t disappointed in the slightest people. And the service was fantastic. It was it was tip top, wasn’t it? Yeah, the staff are amazing here. really really good. Yeah. And I I know you you will have seen me if you if you follow us and you saw our rich holiday poor holiday series, you will see that I had no issues at all with Lraiosa and then we did uh a fivestar and a four-star hotel in Lanzerati. And I I was less than impressed, shall we say? And so you you know that if I don’t like something people, I’m going to tell you. And maybe I tell you too much sometimes. Now, if you haven’t seen those videos, go and watch them. And if you don’t like me, just press mute every time I open my mouth. That’s all good. But at least you’ll get a flavor of what those places are like. And we Yeah, I I am I do wear me art on me sleeve when it comes to this sort of stuff. You know, I think you’re spending your hard money and you deserve to get what you think you’re paying for. And this place so far has has really really delivered. I I I just can’t knock it. And even today down the beach, we had the cabana, didn’t we? Yeah. And that service was great. Yeah. So awesome down at the beach. Awesome. Thank you very much, mate. Um so yeah, there was absolutely loads loads going on in this uh in this series. And we we just figured, yeah, it’s it’s a it’s been a brilliant holiday so far. We will see where we get to with it, people. where I are going to have a lazy day tomorrow. We think probably on our terrace. Yes. Cuz we got the swim up pool. And actually, even though I’m on holiday, I need to edit another video for you lot for next Friday. Um I’m saying next Friday. It’ll probably be about 5 or 6 weeks ago by the time you see this and you won’t know nothing about that. Right, that’s enough of me waffling people. We will catch up with you. Man banana. Oh, look. There’s the Mrs. to. Hello. Hello. I’m trying to decide what’s to happen. Right. Where are we at tonight, Mrs. Tooth? Um, Bon. Yes, Bubon. And similar to the other night, we’ve got starters that we just brought up to the table. So, some sushi. What are they? Prawns or smoked salmon or something? They look like prawns. I don’t know what the other things are. And we got some prawn crackers. Is that a salmon in that bowl? Don’t know. Bits and bobs. So, we’ll tell you about them in a minute. Which does mean that we will only be having a main a cuz we’ve had a starter and we don’t eat a lot. So, back to this in a bit, people. How was your sushi, Mrs. T? Yeah, a few bits were nice. I don’t really eat sushi, but um some of the bits I had were nice, some weren’t. Yeah. Don’t know what they were. No, I had a couple that were all right. There was a couple more I didn’t really fancy. And yeah, the uh wasabi was nice. The soy sauce and the prawn crackers was good with all that. We did accidentally order a starter, so we got a couple of spring rolls there. Vegetable ones with a sweet chili sauce. It’s actually It’s really nice, isn’t it, Mrs. Tooth? Yes, it’s very nice. Well, it’s duck gym, but not as we know it. Um, when it said cucumber and spring onion, I was expecting to be like crispy duck. It was fried duck. But we’ve got some noodles. Beef noodles. Beef noodles. We’ve got some Chinese rice. And what did you get, Mrs. Tofy? Your main is it beef and oyster sauce or something? I don’t know. It’s some beef thing. Anyway, beef and green peppers. Oh, that was it. Yeah. Yeah. So, just if you happen to be wondering people what all that noise is, cuz I’m assuming the microphone is picking it up, it’s the lagoon here. It’s full of terrapins and trout and sea snakes and eels, but it’s also full of like frogs. Sakur as soon as the sun frogs, as soon as the sun goes down, the frogs go mental. And it’s been like that every single night, isn’t it? Yeah. It’s good though. Yeah. Well, it gives us something to talk about cuz otherwise, what the hell would I talk to Mrs. Tooth about? But I saw this on the menu and I just couldn’t resist seeing what it’s like. It’s fried ice cream. How do you fry ice cream, people? Oh, that’s tough getting into. Look at that. [Music]
