London City What It’s Like Now ( Is Britain Broken!!! )
Guys, when you think about London, what comes to your head? Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, 10 Down the Street, the London Eye, the River Tames, or Regent Street? Forget about that, guys. This video I’m going to show you guys what life is like in London from a fellow Londoner. I’m born and raised in East London, a place called Newm, home to the Olympics in 2012. But unfortunately, Newm is going through a bit of a change. It’s going through genification. It’s got high crime rate, unemployment rate, gang culture, and also some crazy things that happen around there in East London. In this video, I’m going to show you guys what life is like for fellow Londoners that live there. Is it really expensive? I’ll meet up with one of my friends who is an up andcoming photographer based in East London in Europe precise. And I’m going to show you guys my experience coming back to this mega city. London is one of the most touristic viewed cities around the world. It is one of the most richest cities in the world. And also London is home to about 9 to 8 million people. After watching this vlog, would you decide to visit the city called London or would you give it a skip? Nowadays, a lot of people are trying to avoid London cuz apparently it’s very dangerous with it high crime rate, a lot of stabbings, a lot of people getting robbed. But you know what guys, it is what it is. I hope you guys are going to enjoy this vlog. Welcome to London City, one of the most viewed cities around the world. Let’s go. What’s going on guys? You ever wondered why so many people are leaving London? Now, I don’t know. I really don’t know why people want to leave this city. I’m just curious about why London is going backwards. And uh in this vlog today, I’m going to be showing you guys what life is like in London. Hopefully, it’s going to be worth it. I’m going to show you from my perspective of what London means to me. So, I’m going to meet up with one of my friends who’s a photographer. I’m going to explore the city. It is great. London is always depressing for some reason. You know, they call it one of the most depressing cities in the world, but it’s still one of the best cities in the world. I want to get some food. Might get a local chicken and chips. I’m not too sure. So, this is Maryland where I am right now. I grew up around here when I was a child. There’s a lot of memories around this area. We used to be very naughty. Maryland’s located in Newm, north side of Newm as they call It’s divided southside, north side [ __ ] So, I’m hungry and I need to get something to eat, but I don’t know what I’m going to eat. I’m not I’m not too sure. Right, boss, man. You okay? But I’m not too sure. This is the best barber shop on camera. In the building. Tell them. Ear swag to the world. Tell the world. Ear swag to the world. Tell the boys and tell the girl whether you want your ear cut or you want it curled. Yes. Even though black man cutting hair. Yeah. done. Hey, listen. The best barber man. But right now, as we speak, it’s all right. I mean, I don’t know why people leave London. I understand the weather’s bad. Yeah, of course. Look at it. It’s summer time. Look how great it is, man. There’s no sun. You know, the crime has gone up. I’m not going to lie to you. and the povertyy’s gone up. But one thing I can say, there’s no place like home. It says, “Have faith in God. It never fails.” That’s very interesting. That definitely caught my attention. So, for anyone that’s struggling in life and that’s going through personal issues or going through anything, that’s a very positive sign over there. I’m not going to lie to you. Have faith in God. He never fails. So when you’re going through your trials and tribulations, just keep focused and keep pushing. But anyway, let’s carry on the vlog. What you telling me, brother? Good. Chilling. I just hope they um I can work better without you. I just hope that they I just hope they change their their life. White. What we got to do? Got to take the Elizabeth line go to White Chap. So, I’m not far from my location. Oh, things have changed back in the back in the day here in Shorich. I remember this this that’s a new place. There used to be a train on top of that thing. But anyway, let’s go and meet Benny and let’s see what um let’s see what Benny’s doing. He’s a photographer, videographer/musician. I think that’s what he does. Like Benny going about old school. And then I might go central London. I’m pretty sure I might go central London. You know, I heard that there was people in central London in London Bridge in Trava Square and they do scams, you know, like they move those cups around. So, I want to try to document that, but I don’t know if they’re going to be camera friendly. I’m not too sure. Anyway, let’s see. All right. There he is. Mr. Benny. Yes, man. Long time, man. Long time. This is the guy that guys when you gone big, bro. Him crying. I’m crying. That congalles food he’s eating, bro. Eating at Pondu. Hey, dancing at Lingala. No, sneaking at Lingala. What are you saying, man? Brother, talk to me, bro. Like, so tell them what you do. Like, what do you do, bro? So, I’m a photographer, film director. Okay. You know, this is my studio up here. And how long you been doing this for? I’ve been doing this now 10 years. 10 years. Wow. You look healthy. Yeah. No, thank you, man. Hey, you see the congallesia? The wall swagging out, bro. Look at that, bro. Different colors already, bro. Yeah. Thank you. Now, speak to the people. What got you like how did you get inside this? Um, I’d say like just pure interest at first and it became a hobby. Hobby to career, you know, and now full-blown photographer. Yeah, full-blown photographer. I’ve direct films and stuff for adverts and that sort of thing as well. Yeah, I remember I swear you helped me like directing something back in the day. We done something as well. We done a film. Well, one way out or those are like the first bits that I did, you know. I was about 16 at the time. Yeah. Yeah. I’m 29 now, so that was a long time ago. Nearly nearly 15 years. Oh, wow. Need 15. It’s been a minute. It’s been a minute. Let’s go inside, boys. Let’s go inside. Benny’s going to show us what he does, right? What did he just say? Someone calls it chaos. We call it chaos. I I didn’t get that part. I’m very slow sometimes, you know, bro. I don’t get that. It’s all about upstairs, bro. No problem, bro. I got to lose weight, bro. Let’s go. Let’s go. We made it. Cool. Blind me, man. Oh, what’s in here? What is this? Another office. Hello. This is a studio space. Yes. Yes. It’s looking nice. How long you had a studio space for? We just moved here like literally 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago. So, kind of just getting a place set up and stuff. And what you have before? I’m loving the art, man. Yeah. This is our place. My friend’s art. Oh, he’s artist. It’s cool, bro. Get me. I’m loving it. It’s different. I’ve not been to a studio in a minute. What is this? A Louis Vuitton football. Is this real? Yeah, it’s real. What? Can I take it? No. No. This one’s from Morocco. It’s real. It would be a lot of money, bro. Ah, Morocco. A big up Art Ads in it. Shout out Art Ads. I just realized this place is hard. It’s hard. So, photography. What’s the end game? What’s the end game, my brother? Like photography. Yeah. Directing for me. Yeah. I’d want to like make films, TV series. Yeah. Just tell stories cuz I love like telling stories. That’s my thing. Yeah. You know, telling stories is something I like to do because you get to show someone’s history, message through your lens. Yeah. You know, and your style. And if you got a good style, then it’s a it’s a even really better story, you know, cuz it’s like you get to see it in another life. And I think photography, film making is what keeps history going. You know, it’s kind of like painting. You know, how we go to galleries, we see paintings and stuff like that. It kind of makes us feel like this is what things would have looked like to this time or how people thought, you know, like people’s progression in human thinking, you know, comes from art as well. So, it’s a part. This guy speaking be different, bro. This is not the Benny that I knew back in the day, man. Like, I love it. I love it. Bro, what made you want to change your life? You know what? I think what made me want to change my life was just a change of feeling. Yeah. I wanted to feel something different and I feel like as soon as I started making art and stuff like that just felt different and like I like this feeling so I’m just going to keep doing this. And over time you just you’re submerged now you’re like in it. You know you’re like plus I think the people that surround you like your peer friends like your groups if they have a positive mindset your mindset’s also going to be positive. Exactly. Yeah. What we knew guys that we came from from Newiman, you know what I mean? From our jungle, bro. Jungle. We came We came from the jungle, you know, and I feel like I’m I’m happy of the way I was raised, you know, cuz I couldn’t be who I am. It taught you like you learned a lot. And shoot, you’re saying that you wouldn’t be the person who you are. And I’m very confident in myself cuz I know who I am and where I come from. I love that. I love that. Someone someone else couldn’t tell me who I am cuz I know where I come from. Love that. And that’s the power I hold. You know, being from where I’m from, knowledge is power plus self education is very important. We make photo the way we need her photo. Okay. After you come back here, everything is photo. Photo. Yeah. Stock photo. Everybody’s the same price or not? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. One second. Let me check how much he’s charged. Wait, wait. Let me see how same same. Please, please, please. No problem. Salam. No problem. Romania. Let’s go, brother. It’s Black Man a Traveler. Part number two in this video. We’re going to drive around the streets of London. Take me to Buckingham Palace. We’re going to go Buckingham Palace for 20 quid. You always see the street vendors around here. I mean, these these cyclists. So, let’s go Buckingham Palace. How far is Buckingham Palace from here? Yeah, for Buckingham is 10 12 minutes. Let’s go. No problem. 20 12 12 minutes. That’s expensive, eh? 20. Let’s go. Oh, crack. Oh, mate. Night. Hello. Welcome to London. And the music. Yeah. Yeah. Lovely jobly. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] Looks like I paid 20 quid. And he said it’s not working. Is it a scam? Or maybe not. What happened? No work. There’s no work. Yeah, it does work, mate. No problem. You can’t scam me off, brother. Of course it works. What doesn’t work? Hey. Oh, right. Let’s see what he’s doing. What are you doing? Oh, yeah. It’s definitely a scam. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Wait. Stop. Stop. One second. Get up, brother. Leave. No. No. No. You stand up. Stand up. One second. Yo. Yeah. Stand up. You stand up. You stand up. Yeah. Get up. You up. No. No. No. No. No. No. You leave. Oh, this works. Wait. Hold the camera. You can’t. No. No. Yes. Yes. No. Please, brother. Yeah. Leave it. Leave it. Okay. You fix it. You little bit down. I lift up. Yeah. Okay. I’m definitely going Buckingham Palace. I pay it. I pay. All right. Leave it. No. Leave it. I paid 20 quid for this. I got to get my 20 quid worth of money. There’s no way this guy’s telling me it’s not working, bro. You can’t scam someone like that. Yeah. Slowly. Slowly. Slowly. Uhhuh. Yeah, let’s go. Maybe I was wrong. Buckingham Palace. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Right. [Music] Big him up. That was hilarious. Guess I thought I was going to get scammed for a second. He’s like, “Oh, my bike doesn’t work.” Thinking coming, bro. I’ve been Romania before. I know what it’s like. Definitely been scammed before by people in Romania. He’s all right. He was a decent guy. Anyway, guys, we made it to Buckingham Palace. Wow. I’ve been here before, but to be honest with you, it’s not really my thing. Touristic things, Buckingham Palace. So, let me just show you guys what Buckingham Palace looks like from the outside. Look at all these people here. Right. So, on my left hand side of my corner, it’s Buckingham Palace over here. This used to be the house of the queen, but she passed away, Elizabeth. So, she passed away about I think 3 years ago. So, this is where she used to stay. And this was rebuilt, I think, after World War II. Correct me if I’m wrong. World War I. The Germans were bombarding it, bombarding it, bombarding it. Now it’s a tourist attraction. You see all these people here. 90% of the people here are foreigners. And obviously when there’s foreigners, the content is not going to be as juicy as it is. But the majority of people that come here just come here to pay the respect and take their pictures outside the famous Buckingham Palace. And right now we don’t have a queen, but we have a king. That’s me, mate. We have a king. Uh I think King Charles or Prince no Prince William I think is the king right right now. He’s the king of the UK. So where we are we’re in Buckingham Palace. There’s not much going on apart from foreigners around here. So what we going to do? We’re going to leave this area and go to another part of London and after we’re going to explore and I hope it’s going to be worth it. Let me ask the copper if they have some knowledge about this Buckingham Palace. So, it would be interesting to get them on camera and see what they say. Right, officer. Nice to meet you. All right. Can I ask you a question? Do you guys have any knowledge about Buckingham Palace for the audience? Please tell me you do. Is it Is it for Instagram? Oh, it’s for YouTube. I make this on YouTube. You filming us now? Yeah, but it’s facing me. Look, look, you can see it. The camera’s facing me. Can I film you or no? I mean, the capot can prefer not to. No problem if you want to. Um, sorry. Oh, [ __ ] No, no, I’m lost. Buckingham Palace, right? Buckingham Palace. Give me the history about this Buckingham Palace. Anything that you know? All what I said in the video is it was bombed in World War I, World War II, and then it was rebuilt. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’ll be honest with you, you ask. I don’t know that much. I’m not going to lie to you. Sorry, mate. We’re based out of North London. Probably we get brought down here as a bit of extra presence. So, if I was based here, I would have probably made the effort to learn. At the moment, there is no one in the house cuz the queen’s passed away. There’s a there’s a member of the royal family. Oh, so there’s me on the stage. Oh, we have a king right now. No. Yeah. Charles. No, William. William’s the king. Charles is the king. Comment in the video. Thank you. Black man the traveler. Don’t Don’t judge me. Black man the traveler. That was interesting speaking behind the cameras over there. Very interesting. Guys, comment on the video. Please let me know. Uh what I said was was all right. I I mean, I didn’t know any knowledge about the Buckingham Palace, guys. I’m just People keep commenting in the videos. I mean, you need to add more history. You need to add more of this. Listen, mate. I’m just I like my videos more and and and unfiltered. But definitely going to try my best to add more history and to add more knowledge into this video. But comment in the video about Buckingham Palace, the year that it was built and the year that it was bombed because I think I think the audience itself, they want to know really more history about about Buckingham Palace. Anyway, let me not keep you bored. Let’s go for a wonder. Never never. All right, guys. I stopped to random pub getting the J2. Sorry. Thank you very much, mate. Is anyone sitting here? Cheers. Is that yours? No. No. No. Is that yours? Oh, no problem. Oh, man. What a day. Cheers, man. Right. Let’s do a little vlog. A little vlog. It’s a camera. I’m just documenting my experience. Cheers, bro. Cheers. Nice to meet you. Cheers. Cheers. What’s your name? Michelle. Michelle. Guys, I’m with Michelle. We got Michelle. Give a high five. High five. London. Cheers, Michelle. So, I hope you guys have enjoyed today’s video today. Um, it’s a very spontaneous vlog that I made today. And, um, yeah, this is just my experience in London. I’m just sat with Michelle. Never met you before, but you’re good. Who you drinking? Guinness. Huh? Guinness. Guinness. We from London. From London. Are you here? Yeah. Oh, nice. Nice to meet you. Thank you. It’s quite busy, eh? Oh, yeah. It’s always busy. It’s always busy. Oh, yeah. How would you describe it? How would you describe it over here? Busy. What else? Do you reckon? What? Is there always people fighting around here or Yeah. Fighting or It’s very calm. Yeah. No fighting. No fighting. So guys, please guys comment, like, and subscribe. Put a thumbs up in this video. "Gang Culture" and you show White people lol. What a joke. It's the rest of you lot causing all the issues.
Old video? Charles III is your king. Queen died a long time ago like maybe 3 years ago I'm guessing from memory. Buckingham was built in 1703 for Duke of Buckingham. Bombed in 1940 during WW2 in what was called the Blitz. Not British, but been over there. Interesting places and histories. Pedicab had a wire disconnect problem. Probably the wire had snagged on something damaging the connector so it falls out. He should be able to get repair as much as he charges for short rides. Easily walkable as it was for me when I went there.
Black british men have to do better. You need fathers in the home. You need jobs, work ethic, and Jesus christ. Step it up and love and protect your women.
Amir, you should be a rapper. You talk really fast, bruv 😅
You need to get round and be a citizen journalist now , get round the protests and teach people that pinac photography is not a crime
LONDONISTAN😂💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
I was loving your footage on Newham as I haven't been back since 2022, and it looks the same to me . But, you not knowing which member of the royal family is on the throne was disappointing. Anyway, keep up the good work.
woke (allowers) + muslims = disaster – brought to you by talmud jews
The british destroyed the entire world with their wars and looting, exploiting, ki ll iing for hundreds of years …… for years, so why are you surprised?
Please don't say "It is what it is" it's the rudest and the dumbest lazy way of ending a conversation.
Hello Blackman the Traveller🎉 Thanks for another video. London is what you make it❤.
I notice you ask most people "where are you from (country)? Ive always been curious to know, where are you from, your parents origin?
It’s good to see you presenting London in a different light. Many other YouTubers are creating hatred and division with their content. Big up yourself!

8:47 You preach going back to the UK; no place like home etc. Yet you spout bs like this. Why live in England if you don't want to support your country? Go back to Africa and play sports, vlog there. So distasteful towards the English people and their homeland of which they have accepted you into. I have unsubbed. And this is coming from a black person.
Great content as always ❤
Went to London last year. It was perfectly fine. Stop believing YT nonsense 😂
You Are the problem😂
Looks and smells 3rd world. Thanks for showing the decline of the UK
My Mom and I were supposed to go to London and she backed out due to this muslim BS!
The number of people leavingLondon has slowed dramatically it's at the lowest in a decade.. It has a 26% increase in visitors and is one of the most visited cities in the world, and I am tired of people, especially American politcians putting it down!! It's become the fashionable thing to do by people you don't even live there.
日本が移民・難民を全力で阻止しているのは、今のイギリスを見ているからです。イギリスは1000年後、アフリカ系とイスラム系の国になっています。
People will lose their leave to remain if they don't vote and to stop reform London is safe from reform outside London needs help tell everyone
