Kuala Lumpur Keeps SURPRISING Us (FOOD and MORE)

Y’all’s food scene is crazy. The chicken is moist. Oh my gosh. I’m not trying to get robbed out of here. There is no how it’s supposed to be done. Y’all are really doing a good job of keeping this place lowkey. [Music] I’m moving to Palo Lumpur. Good morning, y’all. It is 9:30 a.m. We’re going to grab something quick to eat to go to Batu Caves. Back at Virginia Time Square to go to the 7-Eleven. What are some must try 7-Eleven snacks here? Y’all comment down below. Thank you. Okay, there’s Korean bogi ini. Wow. Oni. Which one is this one? The Korean kibbe chicken. Korean kai be. I’ve been craving I’ve been craving Korean food. [Applause] [Music] Mine is good. Learn brown. They have so many flavors here. Oh, I forgot. It is hot and we have made it to the Batu Caves. It is super hot here. Make sure you bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Our driver said it’s about a half a day experience, so we’ll see how it goes. I am not ready to hike again. I was asking our grab driver if she can drive us to the top. She laughed. Our driver also said, “Make sure you buy some water before you go in.” Ry was a little rough, so she’s feeling a little sick today. Y’all are stuck with me for now with the homie again. Usually at places like this, it’s kind of tourist focused almost. not tourist focused, but there always a bunch of shops and souvenirs, drinks and snacks you can buy. I like this place is still religious focused. So, we’re at the Hindu temple and yeah, you have like the Hindu god. So, and Diwali is coming up soon. So, I think she’s saying that it’s going to close. Let us know if we should stay for Diwali. Very beautiful. Do you want to go up? Do you guys want to go up? Yeah, I do. I’m not going to record it there. We’re going to go up just to be respectful. I don’t know if I don’t know if is that are we supposed to do that? They’re all like on the cage. Oh, yeah. Oh, the peacocks, too. On the way here, we’re our grab driver was so so friendly and she was giving us all these local food recommendations. And I really want to try this one place where she was saying a lot of the Indian food is so so spicy or even Malaysian food so spicy. And although I’m a disgrace to my family because I can’t handle as much spice as them, I’m still excited to try. So, we’ll see. And it was so cool cuz our friend from Brunai, our grab driver, was able to like speak more authentically and she was just like spilling all the spots. So, I’m really really grateful. This is the famous statue. I don’t know the history of it. I’m going to put the history down below. Batu caves. All right. So, just another tip if you come here. So, there’s a lot of monkeys running around. They’re coming up to people with bags, with plastic bags, and they’re grabbing at it. So, just make sure you protect your goods. All right, let’s do this. We have a video coming out of us hiking Mount Ranjani. So thankfully there’s stairs and we’re not going up a volcano with sand that’s going to push us back every step that we take. This is doable. It’s paved and I feel like I have good training for it now. Okay, so before this video drops, I’m going to let y’all know that when I was going up this volcano, I was walking snail pace. Now look at me. I’ve been walking all of Asia for the last 5 months. How are you feeling, honey? Terrible. What’s up, Bubbas? Yeah. Practice. Oh, yeah. And you have on pants. All right. This is just my ego, but I need to beat Joshua up the stairs. Okay. Yes. Who does she think she is? I can’t wait for this volcano video to drop. I know. It’s rough. And you should take your fan. Your portable fan. These monkeys look different than the ones I’m used to seeing. They have like a little a bigger nut sack. I’m being real cuz like when they’re face they’re facing away from me and I don’t All you’re looking at is the I guess his face is a little flatter. I don’t know it is but yeah I think it is a different species. All right. This is not what I imagined it was going to look like. But you can still buy souvenirs here. Now I agree with you. very tourist centric versus the the versus what the when I was like more religious side which was nice. We have been to so many caves on this trip but something that confuses me is like how did they get all this stuff in here? If anybody knows, let me know. Wuki and I went to pray and very similar to like Catholicism where they do put some like stuff on their forehead. Um I think it was like it was like ash was it flowers? But you put there um I’m going to have to do more research on Hinduism cuz I’ve grew up Buddhist but we don’t have as some of the cultural practices. So got to look more into Hinduism. And this is free of charge to enter. But per usual, please try to keep it clean. There’s something so beautiful about having a religion in a cave. It’s peace and quiet. Although, I don’t know. Half of me is like, do I want it to be like the 16th chapel where you should be quiet? Well, the 16 chap was owned by China. Japan. And you can’t take any pictures. So, yeah, you can’t. We’re in a cave. See, when you try finding peace and tranquility, huh? Oh, wow. And they have drink refill stations for us. Somebody’s watching you do it. You’re like, “Oh, shit.” Sometimes you just clock out in your head and do random stuff. This is the type of guy that Joshua is or just type of person that he is. He will support you no matter what you’re doing. It could be as small as this guy over here just avoiding this puddle of water. I’m going hype you up. Twinkle toads. Yeah, you’re such a good hype man. Sometimes you just blink out and you do silly things and he’ll just he’ll still cheer you on. I love it. Our Grab driver was saying that it could take us half a day. I don’t know. We’re like do we miss something? I guess this is it. It seems like there was a lot to do like in the area though. So, when we get back down. Yeah. All right, let’s head down. [Music] There’s some people talking in Vietnamese and just talking about their love life. And it’s because a lot of people don’t know that I’m Vietnamese. I love ease dropping. We walked to the area where there’s a lot of shops that sells Buddhas and statues. So, check them out. And there’s restaurants here. All right, we’re learning some Malay words. So, how to say how are you? Oh, aparabar. Awakiarak. Oh, he’s here. And okay, so we’re learning even more about about um a geography, but Borneo Borneo we didn’t realize is three countries in one island. And so when we came here from Indonesia, we were like, “Wait, you can say terma, but termasi in Indonesian.” Thank you. You say here. Hello. How do you say good morning? Salati. You’re learning Malay. Good morning. Good morning. So, good afternoon. That is good afternoon is you can say that evening. Oh, I see. I see. I see. Cuz in like the Philippines. Yeah. Thank you. They’re my friends. We met yesterday. Oh, you made yesterday. I was solo traveling, uncle. Okay. Okay. And then we were I was waiting at this uh breakfast spot and I saw these two vlogging. I just struck up conversation with them. Oh, okay. Okay. How you my friend? We are just having such an amazing fun day so far. After leaving Batu Caves, we got into our Grab and he is just so funny like making so many jokes with us. Um and he recommended some North Indian cuisine for us to try slash just restaurants to try. Oh, so I’m looking forward to it. Anything you need to know about me? I feel like the best way to connect with the culture is through the food and for my taste buds exploding and my eyes popping up because the food is so good with all the spices. But right now, we’re taking a moment to regroup. I’m going to get caffeinated. And we’re at Bisto restaurant. Oh, I got me a good matcha latte and got a chicken masala. So, we’ll see how that goes. But yeah, now I’m just like craving a lot of Indian food. We were trying to get the garlic naan, but they don’t have any here. The rice is pretty good. I’m a big Indian food guy. I’ll give this like a eight. Oo, that’s high. Where are you at? This chicken masala. I think that I’m going to I’m going to eight, too. I like that this one is such the creaminess. It feels so rich and it’s a very nice subtle kick. Not too spicy. I like it. The chicken is moist. We just need some none, bro. Garlic none. I know. I can’t describe how different this cream is, but Malaysia got it going on. Should I get another one? While we’ve been traveling, we don’t do much food research because we like being surprised by any new experience. So, why not just have it be an adventure? And so sometimes when we go to countries like not every place is going to be the most amazing, but the percentage of good food that we’ve had from the random places that we’ve been to in Malaysia has been it’s been great. What is up, guys? It’s a little later in the afternoon. We are about to go to the Central Market. A lot of our Grab drivers have been telling us to go there. We’re gonna get a touch and go card so we can learn how to take the bus. A lot of y’all in the comments have been telling us to take the public transport. We appreciate all the advice. Make sure to keep leaving those comments down below. Ladies and gentlemen, we have the best thing since freshly sliced bread. Touch and go. We got some wheels. We got so lucky. They actually ran out and so I was really disappointed that we were going to have to find a different store to get that card, but we got it. They tried really hard. They found some for us and I’m about to be a local. Oh, so this this card is very similar or this whole process is very similar to how it was in Korea. You get a T- Money card in Korea and then you can only refill it at like the train stations or the convenience stores with cash only. Oh my gosh. Look, we have a whole bus. It’s the same system as uh the Too Many stuff in South Korea. So yeah, this Okay, the fact that this bus has two stories and now I get to sightsee, too. Which is why we love public transportation. So excited. Look at this. It’s the novelty. Yeah. I mean, why would I need to pay for the little bus tour thingy? Yeah. Oh my god, this seems like we’re in a VR head like set or something. Oh my god. You know, and I like this because we just hit traffic hour, so we’re going to be on here for a while for sure, but now we get to slowly enjoy things. This what I meant. What’s the difference between what we on and not? The roof is off to be for one. And I believe they stop at 41 of the different sites. This bus probably stop at 80. But this one, I got this for three. I feel like Google Map underestimates the actual time that it’ll take to get places because this is way faster than what it predicted. Recently, we haven’t been using the public transportation because they would say that walking is faster. But we got on and off the bus quickly. New part of the map unlocked. We’re going to be there soon. I want to say, are we not in Chinatown again? Or like on the other side of Chinatown? Cuz that is Jalang selling. So that’s that was Chinatown. We’re in Central Market and he I don’t know. People around here are doing some weird stuff like it’s some type of setup where everyone’s standing on a certain corner and they communicating to each other. I’m not trying to get robbed out here, y’all. I don’t know where we are. Seems like some type of I have no idea. But we just saw old man pee in the middle of public. But I think we made it. The vibes aren’t very hot right now. Making sure I wash my pockets. Don’t get robbed. But it does seem like a lot of stuff to do. Not singling anybody out or stereotyping, but it just seems like one of those places where something could happen. can never be too safe. But especially as a tourist, you know, when you really look at a place, you’re definitely a target. We’ve made it. Seems like a lot of good food, a lot of souvenirs, a lot of window shopping again. Oh my god, there’s shopping. Wait, do I want Vietnamese matcha? Wait. Oh man, all these dirt. Decisions, decisions. So, we want durian gelato. No, no, no, no. Let’s focus. Let’s get a durian smoothie. Let’s I’m getting a durian. Oh my gosh, there’s a crunchy mushroom mix. Oo, I’m hungry. Wow, there’s a lot going on right now. Crunchy oyster mushroom. Oh my god, I don’t know what I want. Okay, wait. Let’s Let’s walk. Let’s watch. Good idea. See, sweets don’t get me. Okay, I’m not a sweet I’m not a sweet tooth, but salty tooth like you got some chips, you got some savory food, that’s my jam. Malaysia must be a big coffee place. We went to some of the malls and we saw like 30 different coffee shops. Like legit 30. Ooh, some beria. No, there’s no ba here. It’s just just burritos and tacos. Ooh, you know we love some sour sap. A there’s no durian. Oh, I literally said that and we just passed one. Oh, it’s just I guess I’m starting to maybe think I haven’t seen any durian drinks. It’s a lot of durian eat. You eat it good versus I want to drink it. It’s easier. You said it like it’s a hard task. Well, you don’t want to. You’re not even down to eat it. It’s the texture for me. I’m not The smell doesn’t bother me. It’s the texture, you know, I don’t like. We learned that there are multiple different varieties and species of durian. And I heard that there’s one that’s 50 USD or 60 USD per kilo. So maybe that’s the one that you should try. Maybe the texture won’t bother you. Casturi walk. Caster walk. I don’t know. I don’t think I have my accents right. I don’t know. Everything I I want to make it sound Spanish. Walk. The city walk. Babe, that’s Central Market. Boom. We’re there. We’re here. Oh, this is what I’m talking about. The energy in here. Back home. I really like farmers market. is giving me farmer market vibes. Like handcraft goods when you support a local business. Durian BB. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Oh, never mind. Not drinks. Just durian items. This is a place to be. Halloween came early. Yeah, cuz I’m scared of I don’t like Halloween. No. Mm-m. But we decided we need to eat something. That’s why I’m so food like distracted by all the food cuz I’m hungry. And then we’ll explore the market. All right, y’all. This is the spot we’re at. We decided to get some chicken tenders cuz we’re American. Turns out I could have gotten a durian smoothie and I missed out. I wasn’t reading the sign well, but now I’m seeing that there’s durian lattes. I think my new goal is to try everything durian because I have not seen another Asian country that has as much durian. Um, and I Yeah, there’s I never realized Malaysia has a lot of durian and then Vietnam has a lot of durian. There’s a lot of farms, but this is next level durian. There’s durian for everything. I took a bite already. This some good chicken. I’m giving this like a like eight and a half out of 10. And I got another ice ch sauce is good. Chicken is good. I’m glad we decided on this because both of us were intrigued by it. Y’all’s food scene is crazy. Everyone in the states talks about how Houston has like some of the best food. Bro, this food has been better than like some of the food in Houston. I could say the only thing I would miss in Houston is like for real the food cuz it’s so diverse too. It’s diverse here. I know. Any any restaurant we’ve been to so far, every place has been really good. Oh, except for that place yesterday. Our dumplings burger. Yeah. You like him cuz he was putting on a show. Exactly. This is good. This is good. I don’t even know if to recommend them this food because everything has been so good. They might be like, “Oh, man. That’s just this is all right.” You know? Okay. So, what’s better to you? This Do Do you think this is good or am I just buzzing? It is good. This is solid, man. This is perfectly balanced. The chicken’s not dry. Like the like the coating is delicious. I would have wanted it to be to be fair, we we took a while to eat it, so now it’s a little soggy, but I wanted it to be crunchy. I like me a crunchy batter. But when you go for crunch, you’re sacrificing like the dryness, the moistness of the chicken. There is no no. This is how this is how it’s supposed to be done, right? You cook the chicken, make it you keep it moist, you add the sauce on top of it. That’s how Korean fried chicken is made. That’s how a lot of But Korean fried chicken ain’t never been this moist. I’m talking about Korean if you were do chicken tenders. None that I have. I’m not saying I’m not talking about Korea. I’m just talking about the food that I’ve had. But what I’m saying is this would have been top tier for me. But this is a food truck, so I’m not expecting much. This is very delicious. But what I’m saying is on an ideal world, it would be crunchy like the type of batter that I’d be loving from Popeye’s. And then you put you add this delicious sauce on top of it that keeps the crunch. And you have to eat it immediately, which we did not, which is why I’m saying, is this better than Popeyes? No, I love the crunch. Don’t be that moist. You’re right. I I agree. This could have stayed moist. You got to pick your poison. You can’t You can’t get that crunchy with that moist. Yes, you can. That was crunchy enough for how moist it was. Yes, you can. Yes, you can. I much rather have moist than dry and crunchy. You can have moisture. Where? Where? Crunchy. It’s about the batter, honey. But where? Where have we had that? I got to take you this Korean place. Oh my god. Bro, you don’t understand, bro. I’m not talking about Korean fried chicken as a whole. I’m just talking about places that I’ve had. Well, I’ve had more. That’s how I’m able to tell you the technique right now. She ain’t never cooked it though. I’m joking. I’m joking. I’m joking. She’s an amazing chef. Her pork chops We need to open a food truck ourselves. How’s your drink? It’s uh Yeah, your instinct is just like it’s good. Everything is good. I was going to say that. I like it, but it’s too strong for you. Exactly. I know you got one more left, right? Oh, wow. No, you could have it, honey. Yes. You love it way more than me. Yes, please. I think Malaysia got Thailand beef. Chiang Mai was so high on our list and we were there for like how many weeks? Two, three weeks. Yeah, that’s okay. Boy, this that’s it might be premature. We haven’t been here that long. No, it’s the fact that it’s so diverse here, though. Like, that’s something that I can’t cuz when we were in Mai, it was only Thai food. Literally solely Thai food. Every single Thai restaurant we entered, it was banger food in Chiang Mai specifically. But here we’re any cuisine that we want, it’s been delicious. Any cuisine. We’re going to put y’all to the test with some Vietnamese food. The best mummy I’ve ever had was at the place that we met. If anybody can make a better mummy than that place, I’m moving to Kalo Lumpur. We’re signing a lease tomorrow, the next day. Tell us where the best best Vietnamese restaurant is. Tell us where the best bunme is, please. All right, we are energized and ready being professional window shoppers. Yeah, and to be clear as we love supporting local businesses. It just we can’t carry all of these things in our our backpack. We are just traveling with two backpacks for the last 5 months until I can get rid of some stuff. Then I can buy more. What? I said we can’t shop right now because we have too many things in our backpacks. You can’t. I can shop. I got wrong. Y’all, we keep making these mistakes. Every single time we go somewhere, we’re already hungry. So then the first sign of food we eat. But we just learned that there is a food court on the second floor. I like the food I have, so I don’t care. Yeah, yesterday was definitely a big mistake. If you haven’t watched that video already, we’re going to tag it right here. Make sure to go and watch it. We slipped up in IKEA. We did. You find out later. So sad. But now there’s wonderful food up here, too. And it smells so good. Food court on the second floor of Central Market, y’all. I don’t know. You ready to eat some more? No kidding. We got to eat dinner with our homie. Yes. See leaves. I want to play pool tonight. We ain’t played in so long. Got to show y’all who the real champ is. Me. You see this Olympic shirt I got on? I went to the US Olympics for Millers. I’m telling you. I’m telling y’all. It’s neck and neck right now. No, it’s not. Yes, it is. It was. You had me beat and then I just flew like it was never like he hasn’t flown past me. Okay. He does win a little bit more than than I used to like guarantee win and beat him every time. For sure. Yes. But now she plateaued. He’s But it’s not like bad. Okay. I’m still winning. I just She’ll grab a game here and there when I feel bad for her. You never just let me win. I skills. I still have skills. It’s in my veins. To me, it’s a lose-lose situation. If I win, I lose cuz she doesn’t talk to me after. It’s just pool and katan. I’m sore losers for those two games. I’ll be so happy for you when you win. I I support you. I’m very happy for you, too, man. Sometimes. Not consistently. That was a lie. All righty. We are walking to KLCC again to go to Madame Quan’s because that was what was recommended to us by our by our Uber driver today. Thank you so much for all of the support that y’all have been giving us. The engagement has been amazing and we’re learning so much and we’re trying our best to to respond to every comment. But this like the love and the support that we’re feeling is what keeps us going. And honestly, like I’ve always I was really nervous to start a YouTube channel to to like really put myself out there. And that’s because sometimes And that’s because sometimes like I’ve seen it you see it in other things like the hate the hate or negativity can be really loud sometimes. But currently the the grace that y’all have been giving us while we’re ignorant of stuff and just the patience that y’all have been giving us has been so much louder. And this is like these are the moments when I’m really glad we started a channel. Yeah. So just thank you so much. Yes, we love teaching y’all. So, let us know if the teaching we’re doing is helping at all. Yeah. Like before we started the channel, I’ve I just always known for the longest time that I love sharing anything new that I learn. But what stopped me was the fear of like what if I got a hate comment and just you know how your your brain is literally wired to focus on the negativity. Like you could have a amazing great day. This is what I learned when I was teaching during COVID. But like you can have all these amazing students, but that one child that didn’t follow your instructions, you end up remembering them and it’s like why? And that’s just how our brain is wired. Um it takes you 0.01 seconds to recognize negativity. And that’s what like that’s what stopped me from doing a channel or really putting myself out there for the longest time. But now I’m like I’m glad I’m been proving wrong. We’re gonna I get to share just what I love doing with y’all and and the response that we’re getting while learning from each other has been very rewarding. Yes. And we like how it’s kind of like a community almost in the comment section. Like obviously it’s mostly natives watching our content, mostly people from Falling Poor. So it’s like everything you comment other people from fall and poor can like look and learn and be like, “Oh wow, I haven’t eaten there. Like let me go and eat there.” Like that type of stuff. So it’s this blessing. Like thank y’all so much. I I don’t know. It’s something different. I don’t know if it’s because now we’re on the fifth month of travel. What? Quadlin just has everything that we want and that we need. And she was just talking about moving here off camera. Is that bad? Oh my god. Do y’all hate that? Do y’all hate when say that? This is falling for has definitely been treating us well, man. We just knew it. We as soon as we got off the plane, like we were like, man, this country is like we were like, “Oh, man. There’s something in our bones.” Y’all got all the food we like, man. Y’all are diverse out here. Y’all got good public transportation. Hip city vibes. Get nature vibes. Y’all are really doing a good job of keeping this place lowkey. I’m sorry if we’re blowing it up. I don’t know. But like I can’t explain this feeling. And you know, a lot of times when people are so hype about something, you know, of course I’m very skeptical, right? I’m like, well, I need to experience everything for myself. And there’s so many places that have been so overhyped. Then we haven’t enjoyed it at all. cuz we’re like your head is just thinking some you already picture something in your head and when it doesn’t meet that expectation you’re just like it fosters disappointment. But we had like zero ex I didn’t even know what any of Malaysia looked like. I think I saw some pictures of like the mountainous area and the Batu caves but that’s it. Yeah. But just genuinely everyone is so friendly and accepting. Yes. And like this is so perfect. But yeah, not trying to not trying to overhype at all, but like I we are very very appreciative. Oh my gosh. Malaysia is the place that keeps just keeps on giving. Like I love seeing you. It has a little bit of like every culture mixed into it. This is just a melting pot. This is a melting pot. This is my favorite convenience store. I literally today, honey, when I was at 7-Eleven, I was like, I miss seeing you so much, bro. But let’s see if they have the deals like in Korea. What we’re looking forward to right now is the buy 1 get one or the OnePlus 1. Let’s see if they have that. I don’t even know. I don’t even know. No, I need to I need to be I need to go into the I miss I miss seeing you. Oh my god, they have to stay. This is Thailand all over again. This is crazy. Y’all got toasties. Do they have oneplus 1? Oh my gosh. We have Do they look good Korean food? Like look at these options. Oh my god. Do they have OnePlus 1? Oh, I got to look. I don’t see any. Buy two. But I don’t care. There’s still a deal. Buy two get one free. I don’t think that’s a oneplus 1 though. This is how we’ve been on a budget when we were in Korea. It’s perfect when you’re traveling with two people. You got a OnePlus 1. Or if you’re traveling by yourself, you could have the app and save that plus one for later. Okay. Oh my god. Okay. They do not have a OnePlus 1 here. Oh man. Wait, wait, wait, wait. What I’m looking for? Okay. Have y’all heard of Okay, it’s the banana um like probiotic, but then you add caramel to it. The combo was actually hazelnut, but we don’t like hazelnut. Oh, they don’t have it. All right, we made it to Madame Kuan since 1977. I’m thinking of the English, but we came here because of a recommendation. All right, you got to try, honey. I got the asam lak which will be my first time trying this dish but I was gravitated towards it because it has tamarind fish broth and then mackerel fish on top. That is quite interesting. And also Joshua says that this skewer, this sautΓ© is it was way better at it was way better at the at the market. I’ve never had a tamarind be a salt like a a soup before. I figured it was going to be refreshing. This is nice. And it has Is this mango? Cucumber. No, this is mango. Is it mango? Yeah, that is mango. Very refreshing. It’s like very tropical flavor. This is good. Oh, this pineapple. What do you rate this place? How are the dumplings? These dumplings way better than what what we had yesterday. This is the type of dumpling that we were looking forward to. Amazing. So, what is your rating? Eight out of 10. Eight out of 10. That is high remarks. High remarks. Mhm. Dang. Y’all, it’s thin and silky. And the filling has vegetables in it. Like very healthy. And this shrimp, shrimp is what really brings it over the top. I think this is one of those places where if you had a group of people and everybody wanted to try different things, this would be the place to go. But if you want to try something specific, I think there are other places that do each disc probably better than these are executed well enough. So, I mean, it’s good. I’m glad that I didn’t let Reddit deter us from coming because people were saying like, “Oh, pre-COVID it was better and you know like this is overpriced and stuff like that.” For the fact that it’s Malaysian cuisine, you can definitely find a lot of great dishes in you and for cheaper at the food. What is it? Like at the the night market and stuff. But the flavors that I’m tasting very refreshing and you want just like a nice night out. Even the atmosphere is nice and they have a lot of locations. She’s famous for a reason. This is 1977. Anyways, bye y’all. That’s it for the food review. Recommend. We are back in our room now. We had a really delicious dinner. And just shout out again our friend Muki. Thank you so much for watching y’all. Yes, thank you for joining us on our journey. We really appreciate it. Make sure to leave a like, comment, and subscribe. Let us know other things we should do in calling the core. Also, make sure to check out our Southeast Asia traveling backpacking playlist. I hope you have a fantastic day. Hopefully, you learned something in this video. But thank you so much for all the support and the engagement. We will see you in the next one.

We started our day at the famous Batu Caves with our new friend from Brunei πŸ‡§πŸ‡³ β€” sharing real travel tips, what to expect, and why you should watch out for the monkeys πŸ’. We even learned a few new Malay words along the way!

After that, we grabbed lunch at Bestow Restaurant and rated their Masala Chicken (spoiler: it was πŸ”₯). Then we explored Central Market, but things got a little sketchy, and it reminded us to stay alert while traveling. Later, we stumbled upon Masy Chicken Tenders to satisfy a craving, and wow… it turned into a full-on food debate πŸ—πŸ˜‚.

We wrapped up the day with dinner at Madam Kwan’s, reflected on how amazing Malaysia has been, and couldn’t believe we found one of our favorite Korean convenience stores, CU, here in Kuala Lumpur πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ.

    1. There's a durian shop literally on Petaling St. Actually there are many around town but it is now out of season for most of the harvest. You can still get the fruit but not the most famous variety.

    2. Hello, from Dallas! My fiance and I love you guys videos. This video especially for me. This video had a lot more respectful disagreements and the competition is real!πŸ˜… Crystal your facial expressions remind me of my fiance. She is Filipina and I'm black. We are laughing so hard because we see some of the things we do! Keep up the good work and stay safe and always keep your equipment safe 😊. Once again good job and editing on the videos!

    4. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ Greetings from Kuala Lumpur! Great you guys visited one of the most iconic tour site after the Petronas Twin Towers in KL , the Batu Caves! ( Batu = Rock , referring to the Limestone around these Caves , the Golden standing statue is to rever Lord Murugan , one of the Celestial son of Maha Deva Shiva & Maha Devi Parvati. Their other famous celestial son is Lord Ganapati or Ganesha or Sri Sakhti Vinayagar – the Elephant faced God ) , wise to visit Batu Caves in the early morning when it is not that crowded & yes , bring your own small bottle of mineral water or bottled isotonic drink or coffee in your small City exploring backpack so to avoid being snatch by those marauding long tailed macaques! There are two other species of macaques like the Dusky Monkey & the Silver Leaf Monkey that prefer to eat their own forest leaves than go near humans , they're more high class types of macaques. There is a standing statue of The Monkey God : Sri HΓ…RÜMΓ…NÏ NΓ…MΓ…YΓ… or Sun Wu Kong at the left side of Batu Caves … πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ‘πŸ’πŸŒΏπŸŒβœŒοΈπŸ•ŠοΈπŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ
