🌍 10-Day Greek Isles & Mediterranean Cruise Overview | Norwegian Sky | Port Highlights & Travel Tips

Hey cruisers, it’s Carol from Solo Cruising and More. I just returned from an unforgettable 10day, 11 night Greek Isles cruise aboard the Norwegian sky. And let me tell you, it was amazing. From Italy to Turkey, every single port had its own magic. Today, I’m giving you an overview of this incredible Mediterranean adventure and a sneak peek at what’s coming up in the series. Yeah, we’re way older now. Everything is way over. We started our journey in Tristy, Italy. And over the next 10 days, we explored nine ports from Slovenia’s charming old towns to the whitewashed beauty of the Greek Isles and the incredible history of Turkey. This cruise was the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and relaxation. We didn’t have a single day until the very end. So, it was port port after port, which means I’ve got a ton of destination footage to share with you. Our home for this incredible journey was the Norwegian Sky, one of NCL’s smaller ships. But don’t let that fool you. It had everything that we needed. It had friendly staff, great food, fun, and entertainment. And it was a pretty relaxed vibe. Since we spent so much time in port, we really didn’t need a ton on board. But I’ll be doing a Norwegian Sky review later in this series to share my honest thoughts. Oh, Roger’s going to have one, too. No. Okay. Okay. Oh, that’s pretty. They’re out there. Oh, okay. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, that’s pretty. Our first stop was Coper, Slovenia. It’s a beautiful and walkable town. It felt like a little hidden gem. I took a solo excursion to the po Ona caves. Then came Split Croatia with this incredible old city inside of the Acclesian Palace. Definitely one of my favorites. I even climbed to the top of that bell tower. I’ll show you in another video. The Bronik Croatia surprised me the most. I really felt like I was in a fairy tale. There was so much to do and see. Thank goodness we were at this port until 10 p.m. Our fourth port was Cur Montenegro. Completely blew me away. Those mountains views are next level. And that blue cave was absolutely beautiful. Corfu, Greece had that laidback island charm. We spent the day on the beach and we really needed it that day. It was very, very calm and relaxing. Santorini was everything you’d expect with the beautiful blue domes, the stunning views, and it was very, very wasn’t just chaotic as we thought it was going to be. Um our we went in September which is a very good time of year to go. We had the beautiful weather without the crowds in Athens. We climbed up to the Acropolis and it was worth every step even though it was raining. Once you see the Acropolis, we totally forgot all about the rain. Then in Mkos um we did a lot of shopping saw those beautiful windmills and it it’s a great place for shopping. After Mkos was Ephesus which was like walking through history and then we headed we ended our trip in Istanbul and let me tell you that city is incredible. It was a perfect grand finale. This cruise really opened my eyes up to why I love exploring the world, especially by ship. Every morning I woke up somewhere new, met amazing people, and soaked up so much culture and beauty. If you’re thinking about a Greek isles or Mediterranean cruise, this itinerary is fantastic, especially for travelers who love to stay busy and see a lot.
