We stayed at Henn Na Maihama Tokyo Bay hotel!(and we didn’t get eaten by dinosaurs)

[Music] hey I’m Bob welcome to another episode of Bob and Joe’s Travel Guide today cameraman Matt and I are staying at the henna mahama Tokyo Bay hotel with a good proximity to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney sea we’re going to be showing you around a little bit and if you have any questions please make sure to ask in the comments and I will answer as best I can [Music] this hotel is really interesting because it doesn’t have any human staff kicking around we did see some housekeepers but other than that you are being served by dinosaurs and possibly a little robot in your room now the robot did not work for us but for the people we were with um it actually wouldn’t shut off which was kind of funny uh we also saw a lot of the gachapon little uh games where you can grab the little toys which was very cool as well as a ton of vending machines um there’s no shorter defending machines at this [Music] hotel that turns lights on your room comes with a fridge and downstairs in the lobby there is a microwave as well as table and chairs because if you’re jet legged like we were we actually got up super early in the morning went over to Lawson or 7-Eleven bought a bunch of snacks and basically just pigged out in the lobby and it was really fun [Music] for anyone who’s wondering the toilet still has a regular flusher that’s just the little panel there is an extra fun part of it we filmed this video after we had been in the hotel for a few days so please disregard the fact that it looks a little bit unkempt that is us it is not the hotel [Music] [Music] here’s the macaron machine this one was really cool because whatever you buy it comes out and they’re frozen and then you just have to thaw them and then you can eat them within like 20 minutes uh there’s a microwave in the lobby like I mentioned there’s an ice machine and there’s actually a lot to do even if you’re just like sitting there lots of like visually cool things to look [Music] at so we’ve just spent three nights at the Hena mahama Tokyo Bay Hotel um and I thought I’d give you my final thoughts on it um first of all it’s in a really good location you can either take the shuttle from the hotel we didn’t do that we just took the bus right outside of our hotel and it was very easy you just took it to it was two stops and then you get off at the like main like myama station and then you can either walk to Disneyland or you can walk to Disney SE um Disney SE is a bit of a farther walk so you can also take like the the the actual Disney line there as well um uh what else the toilets are really cool once you learn how to use them they’re they’re actually pretty neat the room I didn’t find it small I don’t really know like I think a lot of people complain about the sizes of the rooms maybe this is bigger because it’s closer to Disneyland but I guess when we go to our other hotel in Tokyo we’ll be able to kind of see the difference the bath was really nice and deep that’s my favorite part um and the beds were quite hard so if you if you don’t like hard beds this might not be the place for you but they were really great about bringing extra pillows one of the coolest things is they actually had like a a leg and foot massager in the room which I thought was really cool after a long day at Disney Land um because it is it is a lot of a lot of steps there’s an amazing restaurant just a couple blocks down the road it is called ton katsu den and it has all different kinds of um ton katsu pork squid uh shrimp and it’s got a few different curries there the service was so good and the food was amazing like we were all like so happy there’s a Lawson across the street and there’s a 7-Eleven right next to you um so it’s great for snacks and actually full meals as well because we’ve been eating a lot of meals at the convenience stores overall I would say the location of this hotel is great the price was great for three nights we paid um just over $600 Canadian and I think it was like 6 six yeah six just over $600 Canadian and and I would definitely recommend staying here the at first it was weird not seeing a lot of Staff around because the staff were literally robot dinosaurs but it was just a great stay um I would bring kids here it’s kind of like a fun little Amusement for them uh oh and also there is a buffet restaurant downstairs at 6:30 to 9:30 we also didn’t try it so unfortunately I don’t really have a review on the food there um but based on the reviews I’ve read at like online it seems like it’s it’s pretty cool it’s a Jurassic Diner I believe that’s what it’s called um what about you cameraman thatt anything to add to that review no you covered it all okay so if you’re here going to Disneyland consider this hotel it’s cheap it is in a good location and it is surrounded by some really awesome little convenience stores restaurants um and it’s really fun for the kids so until next time see you [Music] later so we just spent three nights at the henna mahama Tokyo Bay Hotel um and I just wanted to kind of give you some ideas of I have no idea can’t really remember where I was going with my words um just pause it

Bob and Camera man Matt stay at Henn Na Maihama Tokyo Bay hotel!

This hotel had a great location. It was about a 15 minute walk from Maihama station. It had several convenience stores nearby- which were so fun!

You also had the option to take the hotel shuttle to Maihama station or even the bus, and all were so convenient. There was a hotel on site for breakfast called Jurassic Diner. We did not try it, but have heard that it has a good selection of western and Japanese food.

The rooms were decent sized, and the bathtub was nice and deep.

Overall, the theme of this hotel was fun and the price was quite good. We would definitely stay here again!
