EUROPA PARK shocked us…

Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Welcome to Europa Park. This massive German theme park is located very close to the German, French, and Switzerland border in a little town called Roost, or Rust, if you want to say how it’s written. Now, this park has over 100 attractions, 14 of them being roller coasters, and each area is themed to a different European country. Now, the last time we visited this park was back in 2022. And if I’m being completely honest, we didn’t fall in love with this park. And that’s not to say it’s a bad park at all. It’s an amazing park. It’s huge. It’s got amazing theming. It just didn’t capture us the way that it captures a lot of people I know. So hopefully this trip will be different and we’ll finally get what Europa Park is all about and why millions of people visit here each year. In fact, Europa Park has the second biggest attendance in Europe right after Disneyland Paris. So we are here on a Saturday. Yeah. And it is very busy. The crowd calendar that we checked said about 50%. Yeah. So it shouldn’t be too bad. But we’re here for 3 days and this is the busiest day of our three. So we can kind of just take it easy, do what we want to do. decide on the queue lengths. So, as you walk into the park, you’ll enter into the German area. This big main street is called German Alley. Now, we’re visiting the park between Halloween and Christmas, which the park calls winter. So, you’ll see a lot of Christmas and Halloween decorations around, which is actually quite unique to see. Now, if you want to get straight to the big rides, you need to turn right at the end of German alley and head towards the beautifully themed Italy area. So, if you didn’t know, this park is owned by the Mac family. Uh, so if you know who Matt Rides are, who do some of the best coasters in the world, you’ll know. Representing Matt. Representing Matt. There you go. Um, and they kind of started this park as a as a bit of a tester park. I say tester park. It’s more to showcase their rides and stuff. And it’s just got bigger prototypes, wasn’t it? Yeah, like prototypes. So, there’s a lot of old Macs. There’s a lot of Mac rides here, but as well as a lot of Mac rides. They also have a B&M, amazing hyper coaster. Yeah, love Silver Star. It actually really surprised me how it I think it’s better than Mo. It doesn’t beat Shambala though. It doesn’t beat Shambala for me. No, it doesn’t. And we also have an amazing GCI called Woden Timber Coaster. Very excited to be getting back on Woden. And we’ll actually get Last time we came was in the summer. So, we’ll actually get a night ride tonight. Very exciting. So, I that’s one of the things I’m looking forward to the most. [Music] They look so cool in their shades. Yeah. So, we are currently in the Italian area that is just right next to France Schllo. This is a little bit like a Phantom Mana ripoff, isn’t it? when we first did it, but they’ve updated it since. Completely. Well, I say it’s not completely different, but it’s got more of a story line, I believe. Okay, that sounds good. But yeah, hopefully this man at the door, he used to spit. Oh god, we have Michael Mac up there. Yeah. Oh, is he? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I was couldn’t see. Is that an animatronic? They actually do a Halloween event here called Traumatica that we’ve never been to, but looks very good, doesn’t it? It’s even got a traction roof. [Music] [Applause] Got doom boogies await. [Music] Oh, here we go. [Applause] I like the un It’s like a unicorn. Like a unicorn moves. [Music] There. [Music] [Applause] [Music] that. Yeah, lots of dark magic in there. So, I like old school ghost train. So, you can tell that now it’s a lot cleaner, like much sleeker, a lot more uh kind of current effects in there. I want to know the story and then do it again and hopefully I’ll appreciate it a little bit more. But yeah, I think it’s lost a bit of its old janky ghost train charm, but still a very good ride. A very good one. [Music] [Music] We are in the French area. I absolutely love this pavilion with the water and the bridges and stuff. It’s so good. This is kind of like the shot at Europa, isn’t it? Really? Yeah. looking across the garden, which is funny because that you I guess you’d class that as a weenie. Not really. It’s cuz a weenie you can see from anywhere in the park, but it’s kind of somewhere like central and everyone has their photos and stuff. But obviously the Epcot ball, isn’t it? But this has coaster inside of it or can coaster. And you know what? We we were done dirty by this last time. Absolutely we were. I was well excited for this. And when we rode it, we had no onboard audio and we queued for like an hour. So, we weren’t going to get on it again. Honestly, I was fuming. So, we best get that Can Can soundtrack this time. That’s a cool place, though. It’s cool, isn’t it? We’ll go to Silver Star. There’s a new area coming to Europa Park, which is Monaco. And that means that this will now be in the Monaco area. I don’t actually know how much they’re extending the area. They actually have got a showcase building that shows you what they’re going to hopefully be doing. It’s just down there. So, we’ve made the executive decision to come back to this area a little bit later. Everything else is a lot less wait time. That’s because it’s at the start of the park. Everyone just goes to the first queues, don’t they? Yeah, they do. We’re just going to jump straight into Voltron. Just do it. So, something that’s good about your own park is that they don’t do any fast passes. But there is a virtual line, virtual queue that anyone can use, but you’ve got to be quick. You’ve got to be on it cuz at the minute there’s nothing available. You just have a time slot that tells you to go to. It’s not like a fast pass or anything, but it does work. We used it last time we was here on a few things. It’s just good that they offer that. And it means the queues are a lot faster cuz there’s no fastass. So, we’ve got our coffees, nice cups, Voltron. It’s a sign. And we’re now heading into the Switzerland area, which has a really good bob sled coaster, and a really good wall mouse as well. We’re just going to go straight to Voltron. Oh, I can see it. Yeah, there that looks good, doesn’t it? That’s high, is it? So, Voltron opened in 2024. It is the first ever Striker M coaster, which is kind of like an evolution of their Big Dipper coasters, which is like Lost Gravity at Wannabe Holland. All I hear about this coaster is it depends what seat you get, whether it’s Italy or not, depends what train you get. So, it is very hit or miss. Yeah. But we’ll soon see. Yeah. It’s got eight inversions. It’s got some really special features that I don’t think even Joe knows about yet. Uh but obviously, we have this first beyond vertical LSM launch. [Music] egg. It’s intimidating that is, isn’t it? Powered by Rimac. Powered by Rimac. So, it’s themed to Nicola Tesla, the inventor from way back. Very cool theme. I love it. Oh, you get wet. [Music] Very cool view area indoors. [Music] proper Tesla coils. Yeah. Oh, I’m so excited. Look at the detail on there. [Music] [Music] Woo! Yeah! Woo! [Music] That’s so [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Woohoo! [Music] Woo! Oh, that was insane. That just keeps going and going, didn’t it? Your face went backwards. You were like, I was not expecting that. The whole swing. That was good. That was very good. It was rattling. It was super intense, but it was really good fun. It was good. Good. Wow. That was That was a bit mental. It just goes and goes and goes. It’s so so intense. There was a good few surprises in there cuz I have actually managed to avoid most spoilers for this. So, there was a few bits that really got me by surprise. I love the interactions between the other trains as well. So, you’re passing them and you’re all flying around each other. I don’t think it’s reridable as in like he’s laughing. It’s not something I could like do like again and again and again in like a short amount of time because it is just so so unforgiving really. And I guess that is the point of it in a way. I just think the nature of that coaster is it’s just intense. Uh I’d like to do an inside scene just to see the difference. I’m really impressed. Yeah, that’s just off one ride. So, I’m looking forward to getting on more rides, seeing how it goes. So, yeah, we’re going to go get some food now. [Music] So, what you got here, Jay? We have a Greek salad. We have veggie fritters kind of. Yeah, I think with chips, onion, taziki, and an eringer. Eringa. Pretty good. So, this is in the Greek area, isn’t it? Yeah. And I’m super impressed. Like actual plates and actual cutlery at a theme park. 37 for two beers and two meals. It’s not bad, is it? Really? It’s like a really nice really nice area to sit in and stuff. This is honestly so good. I absolutely love olives and this like veggie thing, whatever it is, veggie patty thing. It’s really nice, which is a lot of onion. A whole pile of onion. It’s massive. So much. But it’s like really sweet, so it’s really nice. It’s not like overpowering onions. Yeah. And look, and I got a 50 cup as well. Yeah. It’s really good. I’m super happy about that. It’s a very cool place to see from. It’s got a little path that you can just walk around. We’re lost in Croatia. It’s everywhere. And when you’re on it as well, just seeing the other train flying past you and not knowing where they’re going, where you’re going is so cool. It’s a really visually impressive coaster. I’ve got to say, I’m getting lost here. Like this is like Okay, no, that’s just another dead end this side, I think. But it was just so nice to finally get on Voltron. Like I I followed the whole process of construction the whole time and I really we really wanted to come out for opening day. Vanir opening weekend. Well, because that was my birthday last year, but it’s nice to finally get out in it. It is definitely. It’s great to be back into Russia. To Russia. You’re a I’m not a fan of this coaster at all. It’s janky as hell. It’s janky as hell. So bad. The lift hill is quite cool. Like it’s got a gimmick. It’s got a good song, but in general, it’s janky. We got to do it one last time. Yeah, we do. because they are basically going to be tearing this coaster down soon and replacing it with something more modern. Hopefully that means that we’re going to be finally getting an extreme spinning coaster similar to Ride to Happiness and Time Traveler here in Europa Park, which they really do deserve. So, we’re now in the Holland area. Oh, hello. So, this is home to one of the best art rides I’ve ever done, Pirates in Betavia. So, if you know this park, you’ll already know this, but the original version of Right. It’s quite an old one classical burnt down a few years ago and then they rebuilt it back up uh to what it is today. Is so visually and tech technically technically impressive. I remember just thinking it was absolutely stunning last time we did this. It was beautiful. [Music] That’s me and you. Yeah. [Music] Off to dock. [Music] Y [Music] detail is incredible, isn’t it? [Music] Oh, it’s the Aussie ball from Birmingham. Yeah, I could ride this ride all day. That sounds so good. There’s Roland Mac. There’s some of these animatronics up on the old and some of them are like brand new. Oh, that’s cool. [Music] [Music] You can This is a nice really nice restaurant that me and Joe are hoping to go into. It sounds so good. Probably won’t do that today, but it might be tomorrow, but I will insert some footage of our food. So, we are actually in the restaurant. Look at this. Spring onions. Really good. Jo got spring rolls. Spring spring onions. And Joe got noodles with a mild curry, which is the yellow one. Is it yellow curry? Yeah. Yeah. Good. Like coconut curry. Nice. There’s a bit of our view. So all this with our beers as well. 44, which really good. 22 each. In a theme park, you always expect you pay a little bit extra. And this is proper restaurant quality food. Even though it’s like quick serve. So good. It is a proper restaurant. That’s the thing, isn’t it? You’re over parking again. That’s what it looks like though, isn’t it? What a good attraction though, right? Yeah. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Still visually stunning. Like the details in there everywhere you’re looking. There’s like too much to look at, isn’t it? It literally is. But it’s like such a good example of like bringing the old into new. You know, there there’s bits of the old ride in there. The way it’s mostly like animatronics and movement and practical stuff, but then the way the projections are used like to overlay that and it all comes together. It’s done so well. Well, it smells amazing around here, doesn’t it? It smells like chocolate. That’s got to be another restaurant. There’s so many restaurants. You could probably spend a week here and just eating. Just doing all the restaurants, couldn’t you? Really? So, there’s just so many like little places for like kids to go and play, sit, eat, drink. I mean, you got creps there. They look nice. Oh, no. This one from Dr. manner. Oh, same one. Same one. [Music] So cool. So, obviously it’s a very busy day today, but the cues are just so rapid. We’ve all gone down to about half an hour, 45 minutes now, which isn’t too bad. Now, everything’s calmed down a bit. Seems like we’ll do all right. That was 15 minutes for Pirates and Britavia. Good. Oh, I know where we are. I know where we are now. So, you got the little Montreal up there. got this lovely little boat ride, which we actually haven’t done before, but this is somewhere I’d love to do. Snory, we got Snory on there. So, you press these buttons and it controls. It’s like mana, is it? And over that side is we’ve not even been over there yet, but it’s like the fairy tale village. And there’s like loads of little rides over there as well. And that will lead us over into the corner where Arthur, which is another great coaster. So much to do in this park. This is fun. Everyone has said this restaurant’s really good. Yeah. I mean, something called spices is like your worst nightmare cuz you don’t like spice. We’ve got the train over there that’s all decorated up for Christmas. Oh, it looks so wintry and cute. So, the rapids is not open at the minute. It’s one of the there’s a list of attractions that aren’t open. Mainly water rides, which is kind of understandable, and it is like nearly 3:00 now, so a lot of time has gone very quickly. But we are now coming into the Iceland area where Woden is. I absolutely love Woden. Last time we did it, we didn’t rate it as much as a lot of people rate it. Not saying it’s a bad coaster, but in terms of my like woodies, it wasn’t up there for me. I think already I’m starting to catch the Europa Park look. [Music] [Music] You know what? I didn’t realize Santa would be so small. Yeah, you are just huge. Oh, what you looking at? So, I do love I do love this whole street. You know, it’s got like a a fisherman’s warf type vibe to it. There it is going up the lift hill. One of the big draws for this was literally doing this bad boy at night. What an entrance to a ride though. So epic. It’s very epic. Hey, we are going to have to try out some of these single rider cues, I think. Yeah. So, this has got a really cool q- line like a lot of the rides here at Europa. So, you’ll notice on this coaster that there’s actually Titan track right there, but because it’s before the lift and I believe they put some on the brake run as well, this is a newer edition, still class as a Woody because it’s not really part of the coaster. So, if you didn’t know, Titan track is almost like GCI’s version of the eyebox track from RMC. So, it’s kind of just like still track essentially. They’ve been updating a lot of uh other coasters with it. One example is George and the Dragon. George and the Dragon. Jarus and Dra at Eftling Midway toilets in a queue. Toilets. That’s so cool. I haven’t seen that anywhere other than here. And some place in Disney. I know that Rise has got toilets. [Music] That’s a work light just that’s emergency ruin the atmosphere. [Music] [Music] Woo! That was some fire. Yeah, that was high. Here we go. [Music] Woo! Woo! Okay. So sick. So good. I love it. Absolutely amazing. Go there on Wen. So good. It just gave me everything I needed. It was amazing. That gave me a hit. Like I can’t. So much better than the first time we did it. I don’t know. Maybe it’s cuz she’s not done a lot of big woodies recently. That was flying. I don’t remember it being so fast. I think it literally just started raining. It’s just like spitting now. So the wet on the track probably really helped. The fact it’s been running for like four or five hours already. What an amazing coaster, GCI. Smash it. Absolutely smash it. Look how pretty the lights all look now. It’s gone a bit dark. Yeah, all the lights have basically come on now. Still definitely more Christmas than Halloween, isn’t it? Well, I think it just depends what time you you visit. You know, this started on the third this started on the 3rd of November. Yeah. You know, they’re slowly getting around the park. But anyway, we’re going to go and do blue fire mega coaster. This was built in 2009. the original Mac launch coaster. So, you know, things like Icon, Helix, it’s going to be very good. But yeah, let’s let’s see how we get on here. So, we’re now going and we have to blue fire mega coaster. We have to go for this college looking building. 25minut wait. Not too bad. That’ll do. So, all this up here is Yi experience which is a I think it’s Yi. I don’t know. Yi go. It’s like a VR experience in the middle there. [Music] [Music] [Applause] Oh, I got naked. It feels It was almost like a prototype post at this point, you know. It’s what got us everything else cuz we did pop a head strike, didn’t we? And that that was really good. I hate strike. It’s so good. So good. There’s the ice ring getting ready. Okay, two ice rings. And we’re now coming into the Scandinavia area. We are after doing Blue Fire, which is very good. No complaints. So, now we are coming into Scandinavia. It’s a very cool area. This is It’s starting to rain again. Hello, which I’m not a fan of. There’s a really good D ride in here called Snory Touring, which is based on the Oh, it’s just over there actually. Snory Touring, which is the Relantica mascot. It is very good. Don’t think it’s worth at the minute doing over the other rides I want to do cuz we’re doing Relantica tomorrow. This is actually the only night rides we’re going to get tonight. So, we’re trying to prioritize them. This is what I mean when there’s just rides everywhere. Like, look at these mini bumper cars for kids. Absolutely crazy. So, we’re back in Holland again now. Honestly, I can’t even I can’t even imagine what real Christmas is going to be like because they’re only halfway through decorating. So, not actually heard like any kind of announcement, but I’m assuming that the end of the day will be at 7:00 this evening. Uh, so we’re currently on 5:00, so we’ve got 2 hours left. I thought we’d get a lot more, but obviously we knew it’s going to be a busier day today. So, we’ll probably do some little bits tomorrow and just put them in. So, a 50% capacity day. Yeah. special. Just pure fun. Like that theme just works. So, well, it’s great. And uh yeah, we’re currently underneath the observation tower. It’s become a Christmas tree. And we saw this when we last night when we was coming in on a taxi. [Music] That is stunning, isn’t it? We walked all the way over here just so we could go and get this photo. And these we are actually going to go into Silverstar next. And hopefully that means we should get Silver Star and Woden. [Music] Looks quite wet out there. Here we go. Oh, that is very wet. Rain. That was an experience. That was definitely an experience. I’m definitely looking forward to doing it tomorrow when it’s not absolutely pounding down. Look at this. Look at this thing. We’re going to make our way over to Wen. Uh we wish we were debating whe to get a Volron night ride, but we’re going to stick with the plan. Look how cool that looks. That’s wicked. [Music] So, we just got our coffees and they give us a nice complimentary little uh chocolate. I actually thought it was butter. I was like, “Doesn’t it look like butter?” butter. It’s a little butter pack. So, we approach Woden. The fire at the top of the lift hill over there. Really cool little It does. It looks really cool. I think this will probably end up being our last ride of the night. It’s going to be 50/50 whether it’s raining on us or not, is it? Yeah. But we’ll enjoy it no matter what. Look at all that. WA beast. Mid train ride. Mid train night ride on Wen Timber Coaster. Nice. Not moving. Start from the back. Oh, okay. Oh, yeah. Here you go. It is raining. Oh, that’s bad. [Laughter] Woo. Oh my god. Oh my god. I was literally standing up at parts of Oh my god. Oh my god. That was so s Oh, that was nuts. That was like thunderhead at Dollywood when you know when we had that night ride and we were like literally standing up. That was genuinely terrifying like this. I was like that was Crazy. So good. But everything out I wanted it to be more. Preferably not raining, but it didn’t hurt as much as it did on Silver. I could I didn’t have my hood on for any of that. Yeah, that was hands down one of the funniest coast experiences I think I’ve had in a while. Laughing so much. Could not stop screaming so much. Yeah, that was just funny. Absolutely wild. Like Yeah. I don’t know where I’d rank that now to be honest. I don’t really think I need to think about it. Yeah. See, now I would say I prefer that to Troy, but it’s been years since I’ve ridden Troy. So, I think we need to go back to Tober and compare them. To be honest, I didn’t know how it’s going to be at night, but it’s absolutely surpassed my expectations. It’s really pretty. All the lights have come on now. It’s cute. Feeling festive. Oh, yeah. We got Corman with his pumpkin. Now, this is so cool. It’s so pretty. Look at that. So nice, isn’t it? I love it. Europa Park really know how to do theming and decorating. That wraps up our day one vlog at Europa Park. It’s been amazing, but it’s been really good. But we haven’t got on as much as we wanted to. But I do like how it has that kind of Epcot feel where all the shops and restaurants are themed into the kind of area. Yeah. So, this is like Limmerick Castle goes all inside. I really want to go. I bet I’ll be able to have a go on that. Great thing about European parks that you don’t see in a lot like especially in American parks when we’re over there. You don’t see just like play parks, do you? Yeah, they got tons of them here. This is the the England area. They got Queen Victoria. Oh, yeah. Look, Queen Victoria. Crazy Taxi. Like a demolition derby type ride. Spins around. Kind of got quite a lot of rides from Thomas Stand in here. Hackne carriage here. He looks very creepy. He does, doesn’t he? How am I still real? Oh god. Bad balon airport, mate. Don’t want to know. If you have if you haven’t watched our travel vlog, it’s it’s probably out by now. If not, wait for it. It was quite chaotic. It was very chaotic travel vlog. Um, and yeah, it cost us a lot in taxi fair. This is very cool. Chocolate fruits, cookies, donuts, coffee, coffee, coffee. We’re coming out to the back of the Three Piglets, which is like a uh a British pub that serves like British style food. Oh, look. We got the little a little monoral going around now. Yeah, the Globe Theater. They put on shows in here and things like that. It’s a very impressive looking building. This pub is very nice fountain there. Make sure not to drink it though. And over in there is like a sports bar, like a British sports bar. Um, and you also have, I believe, like football, but in the form of bumper cars, I’ve never done, but looks really cool. Oh, there we go. That’s what we’re looking for. Europa Park 50 cups. I’m such an addict for coffee. It’s It’s getting ridiculous now. Coffee. Oh, nice. just about here loaded in the background and we found a little cave to drink our coffees in coffee cave. It is good because we’ve noticed there’s so many places to sit like especially undercover as well like little huts and stuff like that. Really good. I just wanted to show this station. So how nice is that station? Obviously with the the fly through as well makes it even more epic. And look, we just found the virtual queue. So, the queue is current, the normal queue is currently around 25 minutes now. So, hopefully this will be fast. Oh, look at the black forest over there. Looking gloomy. It is so misty. That is wild. I love it. What a way to start a Sunday. So, it did mess up slightly in the the virtual queue when we come in. So, I scanned the barcode. So, obviously that’s for two people. You have to go for this turn style. Sean went through but then pushed the turn style twice. So, I then couldn’t get through. I messed up a bit there, didn’t I? Obviously, the staff member came over and she sorted us out. It was fine. I was like, “See you later then. Have fun.” See you enjoy your ride. I was probably I was probably prepared just to walk off as well. I was like, “Okay, I’ll see you on the way. It’s not the fact that they offer that free of charge. It’s so good and it, you know, I mean, we’ve been to Hide Park where they do have virtual queue, but it’s a paid for service. We’re going to go into the little Montreal. Here we go. We’ve seen this popping around the park quite a lot. Actually, really nice views here of Roden over there. A little bit higher up. There we go. Front row on the little Montreal. That’s where Pirates in Britavia is. And this bit’s Luxembourg. That’s whereventure. That’s where adventureventure is. And in there, they’ve got their version of roller coaster restaurant. That was actually the original roller coaster restaurant. It’s called Food Loop. Grand Prix Adventure. So, I think this is the other station then. Yeah. But we’re going to stay on, do the whole loop. Off we go again. out of the Luxembourg station. That’s the Globe Theater. That looks so cool. There’s so much to look at around here. This only goes over like a little bit of the park as well. That’s the main Montreal track there, isn’t it? Look at that. Look at that big track compared to our little track. Oh, it’s all so pretty. That is a great water coaster. Let’s do Blue. Blue Fire. That was such a fun little ride. If you like fish and salmon, this looks amazing. Flame grilled. Actually, flame grilled salmon. Oh yes. Got the veggie hot dog back. had this last time. Absolutely loved it. And that’s from the Moby Dick Moby Dick Hot Dogs in the Iceland area just opposite Woden. 5. So, we’re going to go make our way over to the Austria area that we’ve not even touched yet. Um, and that’s got Alpine Express, which has got a coaster we haven’t got. Yay. [Music] There’s a log flume. And we didn’t even come this into here last time I was here. I don’t remember seeing seeing any of this. It’s quite splashy. I just saw that. Yeah. Hello Parksville on YouTube. We found the Erdinger Beer Garden. 15 minutes wait. It’s all right. This is like one of the coasters as well as Barber Express. We didn’t actually do last time. See, we didn’t actually do it. And then not long after burnt down. Well, parts of it burnt down. And sadly, there’s a there’s a whole little gemstone mine that caught on fire, but they rebuilt it. It’s in true Europa Park style. Quite a cute station. Nice, isn’t it? Yeah. I love all that steam coming out. Here it comes. Station. [Music] I love it though. Yeah. [Music] [Music] So very cool little go there on Alpine Express. Hey, look at that guy. Iridescent like Jonah’s favorite thing. So, this now leads into like a little village. How adorable is this? It’s cool, isn’t it? It’s like a little enchanted fairy troll village. That’s part of the uh the log flume. You go all up there and around. [Music] I didn’t know it’s that scream. Oh, so they got like a little plunger. Little plunger. [Music] Yeah, it’s very cool. A video screen in there. It’s like a whole area, isn’t it? [Music] Lost your shoes. Yeah, his face just keeps on giving. I just It’s crazy. I’d love to have seen the actual mine. No time for them shenanigans. That looks cool, doesn’t it? [Music] So, we’re now coming into Spain. Oh, so this is the back of the hotel and this is what we was trying to find last night. Well, we did find it. It was just Yeah. Look. Donkeyote. Donote. Oh, yeah. Okay, that makes sense. Yeah. So, we at here last night. It was really nice, actually. If you want to go watch the travel vlog. Yeah. Changers. Chim Changangas were nice. So, normally you’d be able to walk through there to Atlantic Super Splash, but of course it’s all closed at the minute while they prepare for the main Christmas season. That’s the Zoro show. Oh, yeah. Do the Zoro show. That looks really cool, isn’t it? Yeah. It’s like a like horses and stuff. Doesn’t have times here, but we’ll check on the app. Yeah. So, in here it’s like kind of quick service food, like buffet style. Get all like set menus. He’s got like a vegan and vegetarian stuff. Get your beers. Oh my god. And then we’ll go out to the beer garden. It’s quite unique. It’s got a smoking room in here. So you can sit have a cigarette or cigar or whatever you want. They actually have it on top here. Probably if it’s open in the main season. Oh, look at this. This is cozy, isn’t it? Look. Yeah. That’s the beer garden out there. Cheers. Cheers. So, we’ve left here. Let’s go get outside into the beer garden. It is raining a lot. I’m going to stop mentioning the weather now. And now we’re outside in the beer garden. In the rain, but we’re undercover. I’ve just said we’re not going to mention the weather again, but our plan next we’re going to go on the EP Express back to the entrance cuz we’re currently at the back of the park and there’s a station just there. Yeah. Um, we’re going to go and do the flying theater. Yeah. Volarium. Go visit the Ace Adventurers Club. Let’s go. So, we’re back in the Spanish area. It’s officially umbrella weather. It is. Yeah. Look at this. There’s a nice little fire out here. It’s raining. Oh, it’s nice and warm. Just stay here. Yeah. And this should take us straight to the entrance of the park cuz we’re here probably like one of the furthest points to the entrance even though it is raining. Um there’s plenty of indoor rides at Europe Park and they’re all very high capacity. So here’s a look at the ship on Atlantic Superplash. So you actually don’t quue up on and down around here. I just wondered how you get onto this ship. You quue for it. It’s a Q- line, was it? Yeah. Yeah. You go in like down there and you go around it. Well, I forgot that. Yeah. Well, there’s a really good vlog on Parkville channel. Go and check it out. Probably less than 30 seconds. We’re in here and it’s just arrived. The train has arrived. So, I believe this is the same train that they have at Alton Towers. Well, the same monal system they have at all towers. Oh, it’s warm in here. Oh, it’s nice and warm, isn’t it? Yeah, Joe’s gone. Very relaxing. Relaxing. So, even though this is for hotel guests to get to and from, the fact that it’s open for guests in the daytime, just to get from one area to another, so good. It’s like really, really efficient. You can’t really see through the windows cuz it’s, you know, it’s a lot of water droplets, but Oh, there’s Voltron. You can definitely see a lot better than you can through the towers ones. Oh, that’ be good if a train was coming there, wouldn’t it? Oh, there it is. Just the belt. So, we’re in Greece now. I didn’t know there was another station. I didn’t either. It’s quite good, isn’t it? I mean, how you can just see Phoenix over there as well. We haven’t done that this trip. We’ve got loads of vans that back up area backstage. Looks like some event has been on into the main entrance now. So, obviously this goes over the entrance that you go into. That’s a really nice view of the street as you walk in through into the into the park. We’re going to get over to Voluntarium, which is a fine theater, which again, like I say, is a new ride for us. We haven’t done it before. It’s kind of hidden to be honest. Like I think when we first come, we didn’t even know it was there. I knew it existed. I just didn’t know where whereabouts it was. Look at it. Oh, look at this. This station is actually really cool. I didn’t even look at the station. Oh, and then over here, very historical Berlin Wall. Authentic piece of the Berlin Wall. They actually have a I think they have one of these at Cologne airport, don’t they? Yeah, we saw one in Cologne airport. But if you go into like Fontage Land from Cologne, you can just go and have a look at a piece of the Berlin Wall there. So yes, this is the the uh Ace Adventure Club logo. You’ll see that around the park. But yeah, like the inside of it in the queue looks really good. It’s kind of telling more of the backstory of the Adventure Club. So the Voluntarium entrance is there and here like hidden around the corner is just some toilets. And considering these are just some toilets that hidden, they have no business being that well themed. It’s crazy. Some virtual line tickets. So if you want to get a printed ticket for virtual line, you can literally go there and get it. Yeah. There’s the entrance again. And there is some lockers right there. You find anything about the lockers? Yeah, €1. Um, you can only unlock them once. So €1 for all day basically. And so yeah, like I was saying, this is meant to be their adventures club HQ and this ties in a lot of rides such as Pirates and Bavaria, even like Voltron, Nicola Tesla is supposed to be, you know, fictionally is a member of it. Oh, look at this bookcase. So open [Music] robots. How does an ancient society have robots? Because they explore mysterious things and they time travel. So maybe technology. Well, Nicola Tesla was part of it. So fictionally, not not in actual reality. Disclaimer, Mac Media. So obviously they have Mac rides, but they also Mac Media is a massive thing now. They do their own films. They do their own animations. A lot of the videos you’ll see around the park and promotional is all massive. So if you want to know more about the adventurers club, then you can go on this website that has a lot of information on here. Obviously, it’s a it’s a a real website, but it’s it’s it presented itself as real. You can read loads of information on here like loads of case studies like there’s a dagger from artistavia [Music] videos on there. There’s all sorts. That is some deep lore, isn’t it? It’s very deep. That’s you in the morning. That is me, not going to lie. Need my coffee. Malfoy. Yeah. Oh, look. We got We got Tesla coil from Voltron. It’s very confusing cuz obviously Tesla is real. Nicola Tesla is real, but they’ve done a fictionalized version of him obviously. Um, but that’s Yeah. But a lot of the the the me the fake members are real people. from history. They’ve just kind of a fictionalized version of it. That’s me in the morning. That is you. Look at that. Got loads of I bet there’s loads of Easter eggs in here though. So, we just come off Politarium there. Yeah. Really cool. Like it’s um standard fly theater. Very uh similar to Saurin except rather than going like around the world, we’re just going through like European countries and stuff. I enjoyed the Q- line more than the attraction. The Q- line gets you like really geared up to thinking like story line. It was just flying through different places and some of the transitions were a bit janky. Like it was a spine of my theater. And obviously we’re at the top so you can see the ceiling. Um which takes away from it a little bit. Some really nice smells in there. Yeah, it smells good. If you do that at the top kind of like sells the effect a bit more better. Yeah, we said if you were wearing a cap it would help, wouldn’t it? We did see a little bit of the robot that sent you in the queue. But I mean like the little owls and stuff that are in the queue like I just thought it was going to be more of a story line a bit like what Flight the Skyline is. But I mean it was fine. It’s a flying bit. It’s fine. I think if you don’t do theme parks that much you just like like a normal like a normal person. Um you you’d really enjoy it, you know. So Oh yeah. So it brings you out into the main like supertore um in the Berlin area on the entrance. So cool. Fire there again. in Paris. There’s like a self fire. There’s a Yeah, you just get logs from over there and just put them on. Just saw a child do it. I was like, “Wow.” Watch your fingers. Got the down dance fountains going now. Oh, absolutely love this ride about dinosaurs. Just Madden Freud dinosaurs or something like that. Freud and It’s a very random ride, but very cool. Hello. There’s Joe. Just one minute for this. That’s what I mean. Like so good. Oh, they really do. They’re not stingy on the heat, are they? Straight on. [Music] Just about an old woman who looks after dinosaurs in her garden. We love a walk on. And we’re now in the little Switzerland village, which is very cute. It’s very cool. Tiny little buildings and balconies and stuff. It’s so cute. Yeah. Why is everything here? Loads of nice little shops and stuff. What we got up here? We got beer. Quick surf restaurant. Again, real forks. Real cutleries. So, we’ve gone for a vegetarian. I think it’s rosty. So, rosty is potato, right? Isn’t it? So, it’s just I think it’s just a potato with cheese on it. It’s that melted cheese. You see that melty cheese over there? That cheese right there. So, yeah. Here it is. Here’s the uh rosty with cheese on it. Little pickles. But Jo said she wasn’t hungry, so this is all for me. No, we said we’re sharing it. Nice. Really good. So, that’s a really nice little that racklet. Yeah, there’s loads of options there. Obviously, loads of there’s some meat options. So, yeah. Whether or not it’s because I knew what to expect or cuz it was at the front. I think that was more of it. And being at the front when you can see everything coming is actually nuts. Oh, we got a little marching band over here. That’s so cool. I love it. [Music] So good. So, I’m just going to follow them. So, yeah, we’re going to get a cocktail for the road. Yeah, got a bit distracted there by marching band. But, yeah, very good. Very good rides. We’re going to be in the park tomorrow, so get a few more rides on it. Give it a swirl. So, it is currently 10 to 5, but that is all of our time in park today because we’re going to Valantica. It is one of the main reasons we are here because last time we came, we just loved it so much. If you didn’t know, it’s an indoor water park. It’s really good water park I’ve ever been. Yeah, it’s got like swim up bars. It’s got rapids outside. Even in there, like the lazy river is like a dark ride itself. It’s so good. It is really cool. So, that is going to wrap up our our two days at the Ro Park and it has been great, hasn’t it? It’s been the best. Yeah, really good to get back out here. And even though coming here in the winintry time, it’s been a bit rainy, whatever, but it’s still been just as good. And I said at the start of the vlog, last time I was here, like we didn’t quite like fall in love with the place, like a lot of people, like a lot of my friends, you know, they absolutely adore the place and just didn’t get them feels really, but it’s safe to say like I’ve caught that bug now. I I like Europe. I really like Europe. We still got a day tomorrow and I’m already like when can we come back? The first time we came, we like really just prioritized like a lot of rides and stuff, didn’t we? It was very tired from doing like 3 weeks in Florida. I think we can see Europa Park’s charm for his own merit now, which we probably didn’t quite get last time. Yeah. Yeah. We just got a lot more immersed in it and, you know, finding stuff about Ace Adventure Club and, you know, all the lore that’s involved in that sort of stuff.
