This is a driving tour from Split to Omiš using the D8 Split Bypass. The aim for the bypass was to improve traffic flow with the 2 cities. The Omiš bypass project includes a bridge over the Cetina River and two tunnels, Komorjak and Omiš.

I LOVE the coastal road from Split down through Omis to Makarska – breathtaking sights at every bend in the road.
But this hinterland drive is splendid as well – the mountain passes are extraordinary.
How much time do you think you saved taking this route?
nice to see some homes still grow their own vegetables.. an art mostly lost in europe and america.. hope to see some bee farms??
