Is Larnaca’s Finikoudes the BEST Place to Eat in 2025?

[Music] [Applause] [Music] Hey. [Music] [Music] Well, hi guys. It’s George from Cypress Insight. This afternoon, we’re in the beautiful Lanica seafront and we’re going to walk along the other side. We’ve already walked down the prominard, guys. Look out for the video. We’re going to walk on the other side and have a look at the restaurants and bars all the way down to the end where the marina is. Starting off here at the castle, we can see a sushi bar and panos steakhouse and a lovely Lebanese. Oh, I do like Lebanese now and again. Now, always look out for the aboards. Always special offers going on. That one’s offering masaka at 1395. There’s a Lebanese restaurant. Always a favorite in Lebanese restaurant to get a mezz. There it is. There. Vegetarian one for 38 for two people or the grand one for 40 foot. That’s good. That’s €22 a person for all that. Right, let’s continue down. Loads of gift shops, by the way. Coffee Island there on the corner. Never mind. There we are. Oh, stay on the left. Oh, be careful. Lots of cars going down this little road at the back street. That’s a high street at the back, guys. And of course, there’s lots and lots of restaurants there at the back, guys. Don’t forget. Lots of beautiful restaurants and bars to choose from. So, loads of choice. It’s an all round resort. Very, very busy down here in the evening, guys. So, we’ve just been in the Navy Marine. It was triple dinners, guys. Very good value for money. There we are. Next restaurant is Alexandra’s. Again, looks like good value for money. kebabs in there just under €7. Could this be bargain corner at this end, guys? Could be. There’s a G Maxi restaurant and bar. That’s a funny color car, isn’t it? I quite like that. Don’t you guys? I like that color. What color is it? Avocado. That’s it. It’s enormous avocado. Delish. The tuck in. There’s a lot of restaurants, isn’t there, guys? All looks good value for money. Lots of choice. chicken donuts. €1050 with your chips and what have you. And they show you lots of pictures. I do like pictures to see what you’re going to get. This is the meeting pub. There we are. They also do food. Very popular for your football. There we are. The meeting pub. Lnika’s official sports bar. across the road. Oh, there’s the love buses. Look out for the previous video, guys. Along the prominard, I did feature the love buses. And there it is. So, within the buildings, guys, you got the main restaurants and then they’ve got these outer buildings. It’s all They’re all covered in a whole lot of them. Which way should we walk? Alley. Yeah. Yeah. We’ll go down the alley, guys, and then we can show you the main restaurants and then we can show you the outuildings. What would you call these things? I think they’ve started off as being the restaurant out on the prominard and then they closed them in. Look, can you see what I mean? That’s Bay Street. That’s the main restaurant and the bar. And then they’ve got another restaurantish out there. You see extension? Yeah, could be. Not conservatory. It’s not a conservatory. Sort of like that. But see, there’s KFC there. And then they’ve got their conservatory out here. There’s TGI Fridays, main restaurant. and their conservatory. That’s a good one actually. Conservatory. Does it look like conservator? There’s a little shout out for Fodini. She used to work there, didn’t she? Oh, look at that one. That is nice. Oh, I’ve got it. It’s an out building. It’s an out building cuz that’s not a conservatory, is it? It’s an out building. There we are. Hagging gas. Oh. Ice cream shop. Oh yeah. Yogurt shop. Frozen yogurts. Hello. M. Delish. Italian pizzas and what have you. Hello. Everything’s down here, isn’t it? And more. Is that Lebanese? Is that Lebanese? That’s the brewery. Sorry, that’s the brewery. Oh, the brewery. Oh, it looks like they do Lebanese food. Looks delish. Really nice. Of course, there’s McDonald’s. And that’s their out building. Oh, look at this one. Now, this really is a greenhouse. I was Now, what restaurant is it? It is nice. I’m not, you know. Yeah, we I think we definitely got to eat in here. What’s it called? Vivid. That’s the refurbished lovely old say Victorian I think building. And that restaurant’s within that building. And this is their greenhouse. It’s brilliant, isn’t it? And you get two drinks with it. Three two points of beer or two glasses of wine with every platter. And how much is a platter? Mini burger platter is €23. But you could share that. There’s a lot there. Cheers for sharing. Otherwise, they wouldn’t give you two glasses of drink. Oh yeah. Really good value for money. So I like the little mini burger one. Chim chasers. What’s that? Chim chambers. What’s a chili chanka? Oh, okay. And I’ll show you the greenhouse. Now, let me show you. Look, look at this seat. Look. Conveniently located from loads of lovely plants everywhere. Oh, I like that. I like that greenhouse. Don’t you? Right. So, there we are. Vivid, can you just point out this chili chanky thing? Chimmy chimas. Oh, these round things. Yeah. Oh, okay. Oh, they’re Mexican sort of wraps. Yeah. Yeah. It’s nice for breakfast. Uh, breakfast. Pretty good in that little greenhouse. Another lovely restaurant there within this beautifully restored old house. There’s a bar now. That’s new, isn’t it? You like them sofas in our house? Really? They are conveniently located comfortable sofas perhaps not good in our house. Right, let’s carry on through. There’s a sushi bar. What’s this? This is a super extension, isn’t it? The size of that. Hello. Coming soon. Starbucks. Okay. Go and have a look. There it is. Starbucks and their extension. Walk past there. That’s nearly finished. Burger King. There’s the main restaurant. And there’s Burger King’s Conservatory. I’m going to call it a pergular actually. That one, the Italian coffee company. Now, this is great, guys. A lovely carousel here throughout the year. Great for kids and adults. Let’s go around here, shall we? Cuz we got a bit of sunshine. Look at the palm trees. It’s popular, isn’t it? Whole bowls. Whole bowls. Hello. Is it like Harry Bowls? No. Sorry. Oh, it’s a steak restaurant. Not like little Harry Bowls. The squad sweets. All right, let’s cross the road. Coming up is a pub. And don’t forget guys, loads and loads of back streets with more restaurants and bars. This is Blooms, the pub, and that’s their extension pub. Oh, Hands and Gretle. M. Smell that. Smell that. Delish. So, there’s Hans and Gretle there. They’ve just got the extension. Oh, it’s a bit windy today, guys. It is the 1st of April or the beginning of April. The delish Ocean Basket. Look out for the video. We did go in Ocean Basket a few weeks ago, guys. In Lana Cup, not but not this Lana Cup near Deia. That’s right. There’s Coffee Berry Pizza Mania or Ma Pizza. Oh, sorry. Pizza Mia, guys. Sorry. See, that’s the main restaurant. Oh, yeah. Look at that. That’s vintage. Gloria Jeans coffee shop. There’s Pizza Hut. Oh, they’ve got two conservatories. Look at this. So, there we are. Pizza Hut’s got two conservatories, by the way. Habibi, this is like Lebanese food. There we are. I do like Lebanese food, guys. Very similar to Cyprate food, I think. Just a little twist. Aventto. All you can eat buffet. A vento. There it is. €18. All you can eat. Come hungry. Eh, that’s the Plaza Cafe coming up, guys. Again, they do food as well. There it is. There’s the bar and coffee shop and the extension. M something smells delish. Oh, it’s a Hubble bubble. Someone’s having a smoke on the Hubble bubble. And last but not least, the Sun Hall Hotel also got its verander out here, guys, offering a buffet lunch and dinner. Wow. Lots and lots of choice. Lots and lots of food. Lots and lots of slow beer. All seems to be very reasonably priced, I think. Going to carry on down towards the car park at the marina. Now, you could go in the marina as well, guys. There are coffee shops and snack shops within the marina if you fancy having a look at some of those super yachts. Or why not look out for the video? I have launched the new dingy last week. Sounds very nice. And um you can get boat trips from the marina, guys. Someone did suggest I should do boat trips with the dingy, but I’m not sure what to charge. What do you think? Euro.
