    1. Train prices in the UK are a joke most expensive in Europe and the least reliable, I avoid them now. UK otherwise is struggling post Brexit but nowhere near as bad as parts of the USA in my view.

    2. I’ll trade you locations! You come live in far right wing Florida … I’ll live in the UK. I will guarantee you will be begging to switch right back within a year. Our president is a vile, convicted criminal. Our state governor is a vaccine denier. Killing more than 100,000 Floridians in covid. And that’s just what we know of. The right wing regime leading the state faked the numbers. Many experts believe this state killed off at least 175,000 people because of shear ineptitude and lack of vaccine compliance and lack of forcing it by the government of the state due to scum working in the FL Dept of Health. I dare you to swap?

    3. The UK is full of lovely places to live. You have chosen a run down seaside town and called it representative of middle sized towns here, it's not.

Of course the country has a lot of problems, as do all nations.

    4. That’s the cost of letting these so-called “progressive” people run countries. Everyone pats themselves on the back thinking they’re doing good by putting these aggressive, out of touch individuals in power, and somehow everything magically gets more expensive and more complicated. But hey, they swear they’re making things better. Reality says otherwise. You vote these people in, you reap what you sow. The more progressive politics you pile on, the worse it gets and the more you pay for everything. And just look around: it’s happening in London, prime example, it’s happening in New York, it’s happening in California. The more you keep doing it, the worse it’s gonna get.

    5. Hi there, I must say, I live in Brazil, Praia Grande, in SP, and the prices here despite the local currency, and how low the salaries are in Brazil, indeed I can see that our prices are maybe 15% or less cheaper than England, I am to be honest sad to really look at the prices per quantity and do the math, because my country is so much screwered up ( YEs, I made up a word), I have mixed feelings of anger, sadness and shame for being Brazilian, and the not so good part is that my biological father is British, one of those very rich families multiplying their wealth for reasons we can see clearly in this video, so, I am glad I feel I don´t belong to neither countries and unlike you guys, I do not love my home country anymore, this place is so far lost at least that is how I feel now, all I want to to go out and get a new place abroad, learn some Russian, and other things and travel. Thank you for being honest and for showing us what is really what out there. Love you both.

    6. Australia Pricing, from Woolworths one of our big chains. Garlic fresh 0.167 kg $5.51 400gm bacon $11.00 250gm mainlands butter $7.00 10 x l eggs $8.80 400gm macadamia nuts $16.00 HP sauce 390ml $4.50 3 large chicken breasts $15.17 black pepper 50gm $3.90 From what i have researched Australian food and cost of living is much higher. We run a business from our home, we use air conditioning (all new) we have a pool and 4 people live in our house. Our last monthly electricity bill (yes monthly) was $690. Our house Rates are $4500 a year.

    7. I’m 60 years old and so have experienced a considerable amount of changed times.
Right now the UK is in a poor state, largely due to its debt mountain due to COVID, conflicts around the world, including Ukraine.
Capitalism and communism both have their faults, mostly that those in power get to dictate to the rest of the population.
Imagine a classroom full of children. One group gets told what to do and how to behave without discussion, the other group is invited to challenge and question, believing they are having some influence. Then later finding out it was all an illusion.
Those in power in both cases dictate to the many. They hold onto that power with an iron fist for their own interests.
Yet one group will never be able to challenge.
The other, well they get to vote and change those in power, but the new leaders still behave like the old ones, grabbing all they can while in power.

And that’s the problem. Greed and corruption exist in both systems.
Then they use the population to fight for them. Millions of innocent people die in the name of protecting us.
Good people who do not know each other sent to kill each other.
For what? To keep those few in power who want to keep their luxury lifestyles.
When you get to my age you will see it for what it is.
But we all die. History will record the facts, although facts are often skewed by opinion and recollections, even erased when in conflict with ideology.
Ultimately, we walk our own paths. We will be judged by our maker for what good we did while alive.
To all humans out there please try to be nice to your fellow humans and don’t try to manipulate them with your thoughts.
Judge your own actions as you do others.
Everyone has a right to their own opinions.
We are not equal. From birth we are already shoehorned into our place in life.
Take the cards you are dealt and better yourselves without exploiting others to get what you want.
For me democracy does allow freedom. Some get lucky, some not. Some work hard, some don’t but still want the right to a good life.
      I am not perfect.
I live an honest life and try to do more good than bad.
      I hope you will too.
