Jet2 is a favourite of vlogger TheMacMaster…not least because Yorkshire Tea is served !
As for today's STN terminal it was never like that when it opened in 1991.
It was bright and airy and uncrowded. But it's changed over the years with the increase in retail outlets and passenger volumes.
Wow never been on a plane with red light on board
Interesting that Jet2 only scored a 4 in your opinion, leaving it below Ryanair. Usually passenger satisfaction is higher for Jet2. Would you fly them from their new Gatwick base next year to avoid departing from Stansted?
Also, I think Jet2 describe their classic livery as silver and red rather than grey.
@8:00 Likely de-ice fluid thats been done before boarding, nothing unusual, cause of the -50c temps at cruise.
Merry Xmas
The aircraft you flew on is a MG (Only owner is jet2) they used to have the window blind on there MG but clearly they have removed it like there older -800s and 737-300s
Jet2 are great for holidays but I hate Stansted when I have a very early flight – given the number of flights that leave around 6am nothing opens until 4am at the earliest so trying to get snacks or drinks can be difficult as you have to wait around for them to open – & there won't be seats as people will be sleeping on them. We were lucky when I flew to Lanzarote at the start of the month – less than 3 and a half hrs from push back to landing!
