Bohemian hike to Pravčická Brána in Bohemian Switzerland, Hřensko, Czech Republic
Dobry den, and vitejte to our final day in the Elbe sandstone mountains area, this time not from Germany, but from the Czech Republic, Hrensko to be exact.
Arriving in the rain, then stepping out to glorious sunshine, we enjoyed a day up to and over the largest naturally occurring sandstone archway in Europe.
Following a devastating wildfire in summer 2022, the area is recovering and tourism has returned, due to the sterling efforts of the local people.
Come along and join us as we take you on our journey.

Camping Königstein – €34 per night plus electric
Parking at Hrensko – €20 or 500Kč (Czech Koruna) for the day (you can choose your currency)
Entry to Pravčická – €5 or 125 Kc per person

We had such difficulties uploading this video and ended up having to remove a part of it which was linked to where we explained about the devastation by the forest fire of 2022, so do bear this fire damage in mind when listening and looking at the surroundings here. Hats off to the amazing locals who have brought the life back to the area since!
I have never been to these areas but I now really really want to after this series of videos! Thank you for the inspiration and information!
