UNREAL VIEWS! RIDING THE ZAMBEZI & SPRAY 0F THE VICTORIA FALLS- ZAMBIAN SIDE

The Zambian side of Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya) offers an intimate, dramatic experience, allowing visitors to stand at the very top of the falls, walk across the narrow Knife-edge Bridge for panoramic views, and access the Devil’s Pool. While providing only about 25% of the total waterfall view compared to the Zimbabwe side, it offers a closer, more immersive perspective.
Key Features and Views from the Zambia Side
Knife-Edge Bridge: Provides a thrilling, close-up view of the Eastern Cataract and the main falls, particularly impressive when water levels are high (February–July).
Boiling Pot: A steep path leads down to this churning whirlpool where the river turns into the Batoka Gorge.
Devil’s Pool: A natural,, seasonally accessible pool located right on the edge of the falls.
Viewpoints: Multiple viewpoints along the cliff edge look down into the gorge and up towards the falls, offering a different, lower-angle perspective than Zimbabwe.
Low Water Season (Oct–Dec): The Zambian side of the falls can dry up almost completely, revealing bare rock faces. During these months, the Zimbabwean side is recommended for better, consistent water views.
Accessibility: The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park allows for self-guided walks, with frequent sightings of warthogs and other small game.

Visitors are advised to bring waterproof gear during the high-water season, as the mist can be intense.
